Hi,
The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, if you want to use the cloud templates, then you need to disable the mobile theme and AMP plugins, and then use the responsive version.
You can disable the mobile theme plugin on the pages from the Gutenberg editor using the following option => https://www.screencast.com/t/axXRJsWby
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/ and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!
Hello,
Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hi,
For mobile please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on phone, select the header logo and change it => https://i.imgur.com/cR7F0v4.png https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
For Mobile Theme plugin, you can change the logo from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme -> Header.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have deactivated the Mobile Theme-Plugin – the content is now presented, fine – but the burger menue is not working… so there is no navigation on smartphones possible…
Thanks,
Michael
The home page loads fine. The problem I am having is that article posts/pages load in a mobile theme even in a desktop browser. The site uses cloudflare for content caching. The problem persists even after clearing the cloudflare cache and clearing wpengine’s site cache, and setting cache exclusions for article pages. The site does not use the plugins jetpack or cloudflare. The happens regardless of whether the “tagDiv Mobile Theme” is activate or not activated.
What can be done to fix this?

Web host: WPEngine
Wordpress version: 6.2.2
Newspaper Theme version: 12.5
PHP version: 7.4
Hi,
The AMP only works better with the Mobile Theme plugin.
From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP.
Also, please check this topic for more details https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/
Thank you!
I dont have the tagDiv Mobile Theme installed
we are using the built in mobile template for our site, does it use the amp plugin for wordpress? I saw it is activated in the theme panel because the hosting company said we must activate the amp plugin to make the site faster
everything is working fine don’t want to screw things up
thanks tony

Sorry, i add the mobile menu horizontally in composer, but nothing happen.
I only can change thing in tagDiv Mobile Theme, just like logo.
All changes in composer do not work.
Hi leervt,
I see that you use the LiteSpeed cache, but this is not configurated to use a separate cache for mobile device, therefore it deliver the mobile theme version on desktop (and I believe that sometimes the responsive version on mobile) – https://i.imgur.com/cytZkA7.png
Also, because the mobile theme plugin is used, you need to also disable the sing in option from the mobile theme plugin – https://i.imgur.com/8vuITp7.png
Also, using the mobile theme plugin will apply over other settings for mobile, like responsive and mobile page. If you need the responsive version or mobile page, please use the mobile theme only for amp template, or disable the plugin.

Hi,
I checked the link with my mobile and for those:
https://recordeuropa.com/videos/50-por-1
https://recordeuropa.com/videos/camera-record
https://recordeuropa.com/videos/quatro-patas
https://recordeuropa.com/videos/quando-me-apaixono
appears a template and for this one https://recordeuropa.com/videos/a-grande-conquista appears a different template. Only on one of theme appear the cloud template on rest of theme seems to be a template from tagDiv Standard pack. What I recommend is to check in the theme panel if that category is set as global -> https://i.imgur.com/QOr3cfq.png and if there are not other settings on the rest of categories templates – https://i.imgur.com/FTlb8sQ.png (as individual settings).
Thank you!
Hi,
I checked the website and it looks that for mobile version you are using the mobile theme plugin, and this is different from responsive version, also, for pages it will be need to set a content in mobile editor –
If you want to have the same content on mobile as on desktop, then use the mobile theme only for amp, or disable the plugin – https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
Unfortunately, the mobile version of my site (nextyeartravel.com) is not responding how I would expect it to. Your suggestions (number 2 and number 3) were both active (“Sign In” was turned ‘on’ and Tag line/contact had pre-filled data); however, when I implemented your suggestions (toggled “Sign In” off and updated Tagline and contact) the changes did not appear to take effect. I have also flushed the cache to no avail. Again, this is for mobile only and not desktop versions.
I have the “tagDiv Mobile Theme” plugin installed/activated. Under “Cloud templates” in my admin view, I have global ‘header’ and ‘footer’ cloud templates active, an active cloud template for ‘home page’ with a ‘mobile template’ active (which isn’t being pulled up when going to the site on mobile devices), and a single template with ‘mobile template’ active (similarily not being pulled up on mobile devices).
Hello,
on https://readpoker.com/ there appears at the top right a hamburger menu with 3 lines.
On click it shows wrong stuff I want to change / delete.
How can I change /delete the contents of this menu there?
- In TagDiv-Composer I clicked on it and searched… can’t delete it or set it to off.
- I btw want NO subscriptions.
- I have no mobile theme installed.
- Couldn’t find it in theme panel.
Pls help me out!
regards Chris
Hi,
For Mobile Theme plugin, you can change the logo from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme -> Header and the copyright text in footer -> subfooter.
Thank you!
Hello!
Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor.
Thank you!
Hi PKramik, normally the theme do not have an option to set the language per device, however, this depends on the template you are using, this can be made with text in a different language. Our Newspaper theme provides for mobile 3 version, the responsive version, the mobile page template (this can be a different page/template made with tagDiv Composer) and the mobile page template (a simple layout for mobile).
Thank you!
Hello! Just getting my site going (nextyeartravel.com) and I am happy with my desktop experience; however, my mobile footer and menu is needing some help.
1) Instagram Footer: There is a “Follow Us on Instagram @ExpertVagabond” that I can’t remove. I have updated all of the social media locations in the Theme Panel for my Instagram (though I would rather remove it), but not successful. It looks like it is part of the page template (not the footer) which I can’t remove it from there either. This is only on mobile.
2) Mobile Menu “Sign In”: How do you remove the option to “Sign In” from the mobile menu that pops up when tapping the three bars at the top left?
Hello. In the theme panel it says 272 x 90 as the default logo size for the default pro newspaper theme. i don’t see any specs for mobile. Is the recommended height 44 or 48 px for the mobile logo?
Thanks for your reply. I saw no object cache file and confirmed with my host there was one. What worked to get the default template to import again without saved changes was deleting icloud library and the theme, then reinstalling. Then I deleted the default theme, which was still saving my edits from before, and reimported. I still have some other settings that are saved (the mobile plugin saved my header image even after deactivating and deleting the plugin and then the theme, and proceeding to reinstall both). I’m good for now and plan to make a copy of templates before editing.

Hello,
If you have created a mobile page, please disable the mobile theme and amp plugins.
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edited with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!
Hello @danieleprimavera !
Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor.
Make sure you select the mobile theme and amp for those single templates.

Hello @Ifri !
If they are default, then it should display in the mobile theme layout automatically when you activate the Mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m having trouble getting two featured images on our articles on mobile.
I see that if I Enable mobile theme inside the article, it solves the problem. Is there any possibility to do this on all articles with a few clicks? Or does this have to be done manually on several hundred articles?
Hello!
We will solve the issue regarding the vulnerability.
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website. A good choice for the page speed, it could be the mobile layout which contains less elements because it can improve a bit your page speed.
There is all about the DOM. Which means you need to have less elements into that container or row, as such on that page. I can suggest you only to take care of how many elements you use on that page. You can try to use a cache plugin or a plugin which can minify the page or combine some elements in order to reduce its size.
To increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:
