Are you using the mobile plugin? If so, it has its own editor just below the main one in that page (scroll all the way down). Copy the content of the main editor to the mobile editor then check it out.

For mobile logo it says “Don’t upload a logo for Mobile if you use Header Style: Style 4, Style 5, Style 6, Style 7, Style 8 or Style 12, It’s not necessary.”

I am using Header Style 8 and it is picking up my default logo on mobile devices. I would assume that statement means I don’t need to create another logo.

Because the background colour is different for mobile do I need to create another logo or is this a bug? Can you tell me the exact colour of the background for mobile because it is not black.

How can I control the image cropping in the Flex Block 1 and 2? It keeps chopping the top off images … I can’t determine if it’s trying to center it or what.

The normal blocks do not do that.

http://hitthatline.com uses the old blocks

The redesign we want to go with is: http://hitthatline.com/home-2.0/

As you can see thumbnails on images cut off the heads, particularly on mobile

Hi.
I’m using paginations [next-prev ajax] to all my blocks on frontpage. They work fine to desktop but more posts don’t load to mobile.
Same problem to more articles of posts.

Hello,
You can see on our website https://www.kinbox.com/, in our top section we use Big Grid 2.
On mobile, last 3 items become a slider.
Is there a way on mobile to disable slider and to have last 3 items vertical instead?

Hello swattam1005,

Try to make a new install to another subdomain for testing via FTP way and check the results. The mobile theme has been fully tested with the latest version of the theme and should works as expected.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello geekykant,

I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using the Mobile Theme plugin and the content of your page has been created with TD Composer. Notice that plugin does not recognize any shortcode of page builder and that’s why you do not bring the content of the page on mobile devices. You should create it only with HTML code which will have to be added in Mobile Editor. If you do not like this theme behavior, you should simply disable the mobile plugin and then, the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mode. For more information about this plugin, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

Maybe you had the mobile theme plugin enabled and your cache did not let it get through in some cases. If you do not want the “latest articles” then please disable the mobile theme plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hello Catalin,

Thank you for the message.

The screenshot above helped but I see no effect changing “featured” to “random”. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong.

In addition to the above, is it possible to disable the mobile theme plugin only for the homepage?

Thank you for your time.

Hello, I have an issue with modal image in mobile view, on a panorama, image title takes too much space above the image.

Is there a way to display image title BELOW modal image lightbox, instead of INSIDE ? (By modifying php / javascript files) ?

Thank you

What is the purpose of divs? Even tough i put the code td-all-devices, the ads still don’t show up on mobile. i stil need to write the codes to the theme panel>mobil theme>ads section seperately.

Hello,

Please use this guide to properly set a post template: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
The mobile theme is supported. What error are you receiving? was it disabled by the new update? if so, then you need to also update your theme plugins: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-how-to-update-a-plugin/

Thank you!

Hello,
I do not understand very well how the new single post template works. I can configure to my liking, I know how to apply style in the publication of the post, but when I publish the post and I give to share in social networks does not appear the link of the post, only this appears: http://elmoncasteller.cat/tdb_templates / single-post-template-15-2 /.
It’s strange because if I copy and paste link for example on Facebook, if it appears good. I set this example for you to check: http://elmoncasteller.cat/previa-castells-de-9-per-celebrar-laniversari-dels-minyons-de-larboc/
Another question, version 8.8.1 does not support the mobile theme?
Can you help me? Thank you!
(I used google translator to write in English)

Hello, i have a suggestion.
You shouldn’t load background wallpaper on all devices, those images are often 1920 px wide, big in size and not visible on mobile devices any way.
Instead the theme should use a conditional media CSS to load it only when the screen is big enough to actually see it, doing this the image itself won’t even be loaded on a mobile device.

@media only screen and (max-width: 1000px) {
body {
background-image:url("/background.jpg");
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-attachment:fixed
}
}

Thank you.

I had the same link to https://192.168.0.120/wp_011_gadgets/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/52.jpg only on the home page of my site but it wasn’t located in the “mobile menu/search” background section in the “theme panel” as suggested. I had to go into Pages > Homepage > Edit with TD Composer > Call to Action Element > Style to remove the background image within.

Hi. .. sorry …
got major sidetrack due to being diagnosed with type II diabetes in 2014; then spent 2 years getting that under control, and 2 years “curing” it — I am now cured and drug free as of Jan 1, but I was moving a bit slowly on all fronts due to taking drugs several times a day, losing 50 lbs, hour of cardio every day, blah blah ….

Finally got around to moving our web server to HTTP/2 on May 12, 2018 (that’s how far behind I was on THAT…) …

Right now, I’ve been working through the different strategies for optimizing website based on:

A) HTTP/2
B) mod_pagespeed “on” – but tuned for bandwidth by default, then turning on select elements; optimizing config to load images via /server/path/ vs http in order to auto-generate webp format images for mobile; necessary for removing comments dynamically including stuff like TagDiv still putting in the theme version in the comments readable by bots which is invitation for hacking for edge issues with XSS and whatnot (BAD!).
C) changing approach to above the fold, due to the way HTTP/2 works; testing whether or not “front loading critical CSS” inline is needed or not; so far, using Lighthouse in Chrome, it seems to matter after all…
D) big trick is optimizing CSS to remove “unused” CSS entirely; using an online tool to scan pages, then basically generate a CSS file that is 40% smaller prior to anything else; Google’s Lighthouse now counsels on this issue, quite nicely — problem with *all* themes out there, sadly.

Since I have my own server, my optimizations are based on running number of daily updated news portals; and trying not to use external CDN and trying not to use static caching beyond opcache for PHP 7.2x and HTTP/2 et al.

Since this subject has been changing so quickly the past couple of years, the whole book thing became a bit pointless as the landscape keeps shifting.

So, again – I kind of moved over to seeing how far we could go with
– https
– php 7.2x with opcache on
– no cdn, or caching plugin in WP
– mod_pagespeed for dynamic optimizations; static /paths/to/images/
– optimized CSS and JS files
– HTTP/2 for nextgen page delivery
– yes/no above the fold critical CSS testing (still in progress!)
– yes/no placement of css/scripts header or footer (still testing!)
– yes/no on combining css and js into single files or not
