Hello,

Inserting custom css in the theme panel will have no effect on wp updates.

As for the image issue, css does not have an automatic image size detect. sorry. The best choice would be a compromise and have all image align center on screens smaller than 500 px and not have text wrap around any image on mobile as it was originally.

Thank you!

The only required plugin is the page builder. We recommend tagdiv composer.
There is also visual composer if you prefer
Revolution slider, tagdiv social counter and the tagdiv mobile theme; these are all optional plugins.

Thank you!

Hello,

1. This happens because you use the mobile theme plugin. In this case you have to place ads in the mobile theme ad spots: https://www.screencast.com/t/pGcXJmodtYN
2. We only recommend wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
as for a cdn server: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

Thank you!

After I inserted the CSS code you gave me, the text did wrap around the pictures in the text blocks on the mobile device like it was already doing on the desktop. My issue now is that several of my pictures that have text wrapped around them on the desktop are too big for text to wrap on the mobile, so it looks weird on the mobile because only one or two words are wrapped around the picture. The problem is that I want the pictures to appear on the right with text wrapped on the desktop but centered with no text wrapped on the mobile. Is there CSS code I could insert to make images that are larger than a certain width be centered on any mobile screen instead of having the text try to wrap around them?

Also, will inserting CSS code cause any potential problems when WordPress does automatic updates?

Thanks!

Hi,

The retina logo should twice the size of the normal logo
https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
This logo will be displayed on retina devices, there should be no problem in this matter. For best results please use the recommended mobile logo size.
If you are already tried and there is a problem, please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it.

Thanks

Dear Team,
We have installed newspaper on http://www.baqqit.com

Ads do show on Desktop but don’t on the mobile version. Few queries
1. Do I need to place separate ads in the mobile theme ads section or the ads placed in the main theme is ok.
2. Caching is purged and all settings saved as per newspaper guidelines. We use Cloudflare as well. Howeber ads stilldon’t show. What else could be a possible issue?
Can we send your team admin access to further check this issue

Hi!

I wanted to install the mobile plugin and followed the guide. But when I looked in the plugin folder there is only two files – td-composer and td-social-counter. The td-mobile-plugin.zip file is missing.

Thank you!

Would modifying the code below work to make text wrap around a picture that was on the right?

@media
(max-width: 500px){
.alignright{
float:right;
margin-left:20px;
}

After modifying the code, there are several pictures that have text wrapped around them on the desktop but don’t look right to have text wrapped on the mobile because they are too big. Is there a way to have those pictures centered with no text on the mobile but appear with wrapped text on the desktop? One picture I’m talking about is the picture from ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ http://sandbox.southbaychildrenschoir.com/index.php/about/. It looks fine on the desktop, but it appears to right of center on my phone with one word ‘In’ to the left of the picture.

Thanks!

Hi,

I have been trying to get my mobile logo to work using header style 10.

When I have a mobile logo uploaded, the logo is very small – too small.

So I decided to try the retina logo. It was massive – way too big. I tried resizing it to no avail.

I removed it all together.

Now, if I upload a retina logo, it doesn’t work at all. It just defaults to the regular logo I have uploaded under the logo and favicon section. It’s blurry.

So I have two questions:

1.) How can I get the Retina logo to work again?
2.) Once I do, how can I make the retina logo smaller?

Here is the way it looked when the Retina logo was working:

Here is how it looks now:

Hi,

The socials displayed in the top bar, footer and mobile menu, will be the ones that have an account link entered in the Theme panel->Social networks
https://www.screencast.com/t/m2BWplvt2ZuQ
You can remove the socials from that location if you wish.

Thanks

Hi,

Sometimes the site loads the mobile layout on large screens (15, 17, 22 inch). And not all pages, but some. For example, today it is loading single post pages in mobile layout and all other pages normally, but yesterday it was loading category pages in mobile layout on large screens and single post pages normally.
What could be the problem?

Thanks
Bojan

Hello,

the cache tutorial seems to be outdated. Some features have been removed and other have been added. Could you please update the tutorial? I’m having a lot of problem regarding the mobile theme that sometimes is displayed even in normal browser on PC. Obviously if I disable the cache plugin the problem doesn’t appear.

But after some thoughts from writers it seems like its not working well for the website, specially on mobile website because it is disturbing the thumbnail image.
So i want to get the Title and Excerpt below the Thumbnail in .td_module_mx20

How can this be done?

Hi,please ignore “Also, I just tried to disable the mobile theme and then enable mobile theme, but the mobile site is still showing the desktop site. Is there something I missed? Thanks!”

After 40 minutes’ delay or so, the mobile template showed up on my phone. Thanks!

So sorry I didn’t realize that I need to edit the functions.php for both mobile and desktop. They both work great now! Thanks!

I tried to paste this into functions.php

add_action(‘after_setup_theme’,’remove_admin_bar’);

function remove_admin_bar() {
if (!current_user_can(‘administrator’) && !is_admin()){
show_admin_bar(false);
}
}

It works very well on the mobile theme. But on the desktop, it’s not working at all.

I have pages where I want to have a picture and text wrapping around it. I set the pictures to be aligned left and it looks fine on my computer monitor, but it doesn’t look right when I view it on my cell phone. The pictures shows up above the text with a big blank space to the right as though I had not specified any alignment.
http://sandbox.southbaychildrenschoir.com/index.php/about/staff/ What’s happening?

Also, is it possible to change the margins?

Thanks!

Jessie
