Hello Adam,

That is because of the mobile theme plugin Please use the mobile editor to add content for the mobile theme. It will not show anything if you do not add any mobile content. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Check the mobile editor in tour about page: http://screencast.com/t/cGLznKAO

Thank you!

Hello,

1. The activation sometimes produces a server tim-out so you will have to use the manual activation method:
http://screencast.com/t/9U1RLTAazD

2. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it and test again.

3. For the mobile issue, this is a caching issue. Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and for a cdn: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

I hope this helps.
Let us know if you still have trouble with the theme.

Thank you!

Hi again Bogdan,

I made a screenshot of how it currently looks with that code implemented. http://www.screencast.com/t/vx93ZPWq8

There’s that clickable and redundant amilucid.com link and that unclickable and redundant About us page. Can we remove that please?

Secondly, in the mobile menu when I click on the about the page loads a blank page (works ok on desktop).

Thanks,
Adam

Hello,

You will have to set the mobile theme from the mobile theme settings in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/yPuBpBQmQy ads, colors, etc.. and you have to be careful on pages as there is another mobile editor now that does not use visual composer. You have to add content to the mobile editor in order to show anything on the mobile page. The homepage is an exception as it;s predefined.

Thank you!

Hi,

Im facing three issues since ive migrated my site to the hosting server

First with the theme activation, its says too many requests from ur ip.
It’s the second site im trying to use your theme with.

Second issue, is with Visual Composer. It’s updated (4.12.1), in my localhost version of the site everything is fine. But since ive migrated from localhost i cant edit my

homepage. The elements of the VC dont load in the backend, there’s a little spinner that spins undefinetly. In the frontend everything goes right.

Third problem has to do with the mobile version of the main menu. It permanently appears on the the desktop version of the site, on the left of all the content of the site.

It forces a horizontal scroll bar to appear and i have to scroll left to be able to see the site content.
PS: Im not using the tagdiv mobile theme

Thank u for ur support

Okay I downloaded it and activated it. Should I do anything special for the Mobile version or is all automatically?

Hello noori020,

Notice that the Mobile theme plugin comes bundled with the theme packet when you download it from the Theme Forest platform. You should find the plugin if you will follow this path, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/MmvZxSrCS0Eb Also, first of all, please ensure that you have disabled and deleted the old version of it and then import and install the new plugin at your platform, clear all your caches and test again and check the results. Notice that the mobile plugin was fully tested and it is fully compatible with the theme and until now we have not encountered any issues in this regard.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,
The code you see on your mobile theme comes from the jetpack mobile theme option./ Please disable the jetpack mobile theme. As for the social counter, please follow this guide to set it up properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Let us know how it goes.

Hello guys and girls,

I downloaded Newspaper 7 and installed it. I have installed the sportnews Demo on my website and am working further on that.
Now I wanted to download the mobile theme so the mobile experience becomes better, but I can’t follow the stops because I can’t find the following location ”Newspaper-tf\plugins\td-mobile-plugin.zip”.

According to this link I should upload that first: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Good Morning team

As usual I love your theme and it settings however I have been reporting this issue for some time now and it has not been solve so I am requesting help again. When I view the website on a mobile it shows the raw codes of the settings of the backend instead of showing the home page of the website unless if you scroll down to the option that says view site full before you can see the site properly on the phone. I Rep Salone link to one of the site. Another problem, the social media buttons for facebook option is not working and i think is to do with the settings. it was working fine at first but since i did the update that option stopped working.

Please help

Thanks
Sally

Hello,

The back to top was disabled for mobile but you can enable it using this custom css:
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-scroll-up {
display: block;
}}

Add the code in the theme panel->custom css box.

Thank you!

Hi

When a page loads on the mobile this orange header with a white rectangle briefly pops up in the header:
http://smallcaps.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/mobile-orange-and-white-box.jpg

It makes the site look cheap and as if there is an error with it.
How can I stop this from loading up on the mobile and tablet site?

Website is:

Thanks

Hi,

The link you provided cannot be accessed. Pleas provide more details to your request so I can better understand how to help.
Our theme ad system provides quite a few number of ad spots you can use and the mobile theme plugin also has it’s own ad system. What ads are you referring to?

Thank you!

Hi,

Periodically I visit my site http://www.retirewire.com and it shows up as the mobile version, even though I’m on desktop with a wide open window. Then, randomly, it will revert to desktop version. How do I fix this?

Hi,

This is a simple issue to resolve. Please update your mobile theme plugin and the error will go away. Download the latest theme package from envato and install the mobile theme plugin from there.

Thank you!

Hello,

There is no simple way of altering the break point for the mobile menu unfortunately. Please provide a link to your site and an example of how your menu is “spilling” It should display exactly like the one on our official demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

Thank you!

Ok folks, don’t know if you can help me with this but I’m the webmaster of a high-traffic news website using the Newspaper WP v 7.5 theme. Anyway, we need Yoast SEO for obvious reasons however it doesn’t seem to work well with tag_div booster on mobile devices.

This is the error I get when Yoast is activated. When it’s turned off the issue goes away. This does not occur on desktop.

Error:

wp booster error
td_api_base:mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_remote_cache is not set

Also a 2nd similar error under that one.

Any ideas guys?

Hello yukiy531,

Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme is just an optional plugin which can be used or not. So, if you have not this plugins installed you should simply disable it from the Plugin Area -> http://screencast.com/t/eLUk4YBKyrEd , very easy! In this case, the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mobile mode and it will display the desktop view but in responsive mode, as you can see in our demo, here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

Thanks for the message!
