Upon activating mobile theme, at the end of page, just below pagination links, site logo with “About US” and “Follow US” text is being shown. How do i remove those? I have not added any just widgets on footer content. Any pointer from where this information is being picked?

I also checked Footer info content, and its blank, and if make any changes in it, it reflects along with it.

Since it’s the first version launch of mobile theme, it doesn’t have the option to select different ad sizes on mobile ads location. And responsive ads appears very small. I want to enforce theme to show square ads on mobile. Hence, how can i change the ad size on mobile theme if i am using a responsive adsense code.

I was really impressed with the new Mobile theme which increased the page load time dramatically and the user experience by a lot. And, the Newspaper 7 update is what we call perfection!

However, there is one major downside to Mobile Theme which is important in my opinion:

Just one: Font customizability (Overall lack of customizability is understood cuz the page speed matters, but change of fonts on web and mobile version is odd. There could be an option to change font styles of post titles and such for mobile theme separately. So, that the web and mobile version would look almost similar.

A little customizability power for mobile theme would be appreciated as well (Even-if that comes as a paid add-on).

Most of the serious developers have integrated 2-Factor authentication on their blog (including me). So, the Sign In facility from the theme becomes useless at that point of time because users with 2FA have to login by the login url of WordPress. If something could be done about it. It would be great!

To add custom javascript code, theme says “Please do not include the <script> </script>”

However being a noob in coding, i have no idea, how to do that. The JavaScripts I want to use are following:

Kindly tell me how do i add these without <script> as these are inline codes. If I use them as it is, they don’t work correctly, especially on mobile. Please share converted code if possible.

I’ve updated to Newspaper 7 and for some reason the website is showing expanded mobile menu on all the pages. I’ve searched the forum, based on your tips, I deactivated all plugins except visual composer, cleared cache and still it is showing. Our site:http://techiewheels.com Pls help

I’ve activated the menu mobile plugin and also had enabled the mobile theme thru the theme panel but it didn’t come out as expected. Is there any other setting that i missed out?

This is probably one of the busiest days for you guys at TagDiv. So here’s a thumbs up for Version 7 🙂

I’ve been doing a lot of work to optimise the framework and there are some serious speed improvements under the hood. Nice. Also besides the mobile theme plugin which isn’t really working at the moment, every new addition is a godsend and have saved med a lot of work – especially the mobile menu.

I am using font awesome icons in the menu of my site. But after upgrading to v7, the mobile menu is not showing icons for the menu which has submenu and is showing some box instead, whereas in the desktop theme, the icon in correct.

My site is http://www.harishzone.com.

Please check the top menu items “Bollywood” and “Southzone”. I am using “fa-bar” class for showing the icon. It is appearing in the desktop theme but in mobile it is getting replaced by a small box, that too not aligned properly.

Please ignore the submenu icons as i am not showing sub menu icons in the mobile menu.

I get this error when i want to activate the mobile plugin:

After installing the new version of Newspaper theme the mobile view changed to something i don’t want. now it shows categories when scroll horizontally. I want to disable horizontal scrolling and keep the old mobile view. Because new view Distracts mobile visitor when scrolling in curved gesture. I removed mobile theme plugin but it didn’t solve the problem

I’ve update the Newspaper theme to version 7 (from 6.7.2) and I activated the mobile Theme Plugin. Unfortunately, its homepage appears also on desktop and tablet. Is there any fix?
