Custom CSS to hide category/date on slider worked perfectly, thanks so much!
Still having issues with the Featured Photos not displaying at full size. We ran the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin, deleted cache on page and no difference. Viewing on screen not too large (15″ laptop) and images still smaller than column, although they look for a moment when loading as if they will be correct size, then quickly resize themselves to a little too small. Is there a minimum size or any other way to control the issue?

Also, we have set the slide to only rotate through 5 posts but it currently is rotating 10 posts. Other content block on page is set to offset 5 posts (start at 6th post) and “Unique Articles” is enabled, in case that matters. Screen here. Any idea why that would be happening and what to do to fix?

1. Each module use a the same thumbnail on all devices, just for some modules it is used css code to set a specific size on mobiles. Hello, i have upgrade : 6.3 to 6.3.2 with patch file, but not http://mobiletoday.it/wp-admin is a blank page why 🙁 ?
1) Is there a way to get more precise cropping?
I have logos that need to be precisely cropped. So If I use a larger photo, to produce a higher res output, the photos get cropped.
EX: So on a desktop the logo reads “Google,” while on the mobile, the cropped version reads “oogl,” which isn’t going to work. lol 😉
2) Also, M10 and M11 doesn’t show any excerpt on mobile but does on desktop. Is this normal function?

Hi,
I had a question regarding the css properties of the website.
I wanted to change the colours of the mobile close menu, scroll up arrow and just hover colours in general. The default colour is a light blue type colour when you open the “td-mobile-close”, where it says “Close” the background is light blue and I would like to change it. For the scroll up arrow I believe it is called the td-icon-menu-up and also hover colours in general. I have tried in the theme options and no option seems to be working so I am assuming I will have to change it in code?
What code/file will I need to edit to change the colour to a custom colour? Is it also possible to do it in the custom css option in the theme panel?

By default the theme hide the scroll to top button on mobile devices, but can be displayed using custom css:

You can try a css like this one: http://screencast.com/t/1o5sHDSpK but I suggest you add some specific classes for the text column you use to add pages then use it to target just that specific page on mobile screens and style them like I did in my example using the @media block.
You have below the css code I’ve used you can build, your style on it.

Regarding the above space. seems to be an issue when background is used on this header style(8) and I added this on our list and it will be fixed as soon as possible. Sorry for inconvenience!
Unfortunately I cannot provide a css solution to display the mobile logo as the style 7 has the menu always sticky so I cannot use sticky class to show it and hide the main logo. this how it was created, sorry!

Ahhhhh…I get it. If you have 99 posts, the big grid displays posts 1-5 of the category and the archive lists posts 6 – 99.

OK so THIS is my goal:
– I want PAGE with big grid.
– I want block 11 below that lists posts
BUT BUT BUT
– I need a horizontal list of pages between them that looks JUST like the horizontal category archive menu on a category page.
In other words, I have category global settings as Style 1, Article display view of M11. But in between them, there is a horizontal menu of categories.
I want a section that would list my pages w/ the css / layout that matches your horizontal menu of categories because its PERFECT for smartphones / mobile phones / androids / iphones. I dont want my mobile users to have to open the “td-demo-header-menu” on their mobile because it appears on the left and its not always clear how to switch pages. I want them to simply click the page links. Thats it. Just as if it were that horizontal category menu…but its a list of pages.

Is there a way for you to take the php that creates that horizontal category menu, change it so that it lists pages instead…and then tell me how to insert it into the space between my chosen layout: Big Grid on top, horizontal page menu in the middle, block 11 on the bottom?

I’ve added the css (like before) see screenshot – however when refreshing the page in a normal browser and resizing it to mobile size or even with my iphone6 plus – i don’t see the menu. Could this be a server caching issue or is something else wrong?

Started building website using Newspaper theme and found below said issue.
Header Style: Style 7 – Hybrid Menu on right with logo
STICKY MENU: Always at the top of the pages
LOGO ON STICKY MENU: Mobile Logo
I uploaded different logo under “LOGO UPLOAD” and “LOGO MOBILE”.
However, when I scroll down and up, the sticky bar still shows my Head logo not the mobile logo.
I checked in two test website and it happens the same.
Am I missing anything here?

By default the theme doesn’t have an option to do that, but you can create a specific css class for example:
@media (max-width: 768px) {

You can use the mobile logo and the header logo location and make a condition to detect the page id and set the logo you need on it. It should look something like this: http://screencast.com/t/Psyz0CAF
Please note that this needs customization to theme’s code so you need custom work and/or coding knowledge to do it, if you don’t know how too we advise you to ask help from a developer or hire a freelancer because we cannot provide customization services at the moment. Sorry!

I have Newspaper the latest version V 6.3.2.

1) My problem is that the News ticker, homepage pagination, mobile menu are not working. Here are the details of each:
News ticker: shows the first post and when i click on next icon,, nothing comes up a # is just added to the end of my url.
Homepage Navigation: I tried all 3 options of navigation (prev&next, infinity load, load more button) nothing happen when i click them on the homepage, just a # is added to the end of my url. But on category pages and others pagination works fine. Its only the homepage thats unable to work these functions.
Mobile Menu : When I click/touch on the menu icon while on mobile device the menu does not come up just a # added to the end of my url.
Being a developer I got to thinking this might be some js or jquery problem – all related, but i couldnt find what is causing it. Even tried to deactivate all plugins except Visual composer incase of a conflict but the problem still persists. What could be the issue here? please check my site as the problem is still like this url: http://www.faceofmalawi.com
2) Not sure if this is related to problem number 1 above, but when I mouse over menu items on desktop site there sub items do not display until I am directly mouse overing the specific item, Also note that when I installed theme images were not showing so I searched this forum and used the ‘opacity‘ work-around to show the images, could this also be what I need to do for these menu items. Please advise.
I like v6 of the theme, you guys did a really great job if you can help me with these minor issues I would be very grateful.
