Hi-
Is there any way to control the column stacking order on mobile view? I do not want to change the desktop view just to accommodate. Only being able to change one causes for conflict with every block option.
Thank you
Hi,
I run a newspaper theme site svetohled.cz and I need to ask how do I set the ad width to 100 percent? When I tried to do this in the CSS settings, the ad doesn’t display in full even when I set the width to 100 percent. This is an ad I always have below the article and as it loads there in various forms, sometimes it needs to be wider. This happens in the case of displaying ads from Seznam.cz, which I work with – their ads are displayed only when you come to the site from the seznam.cz search engine (you can see it, if You click on any of the first three links on this page, all of which lead to svetohled.cz and ensure that Seznam.cz’s ads are displayed)
Example of broken ad:

I’m also wondering if there is any way to set the non google mobile ad at 480×480 so that it fits the page exactly across the screen. Even though I set the margins, I couldn’t figure out how to display it all the way through.
Like you can see here:

I would like it to display similar to this ad from google:

Thanks in advance for any advice
The site can be found here
I have the TagDiv mobile theme plugin activated and it does not appear on the mobile version.
I would apreciate a solution for this if possible.
Thank you!
Hello eC,
Unfortunately, the featured image is not an option; you can use this custom code css
.td-post-featured-image a{
pointer-events: none;
cursor: default;
}
Set the code in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS.
Thank you!
Hi
I see, I believe that in this case the problem was related to the cloud category template that you have set. Didi you use a mobile page template on this one and after that the mobile template was deleted? I remember that in this situations the results were similar with yours.
I’m glad that at least you managed to resolve it even if it was necessary to create a new one.
Have a nice day!
Hi,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
I’m having a problem, it’s that my website crashes on mobile devices, when I go to PC everything works perfectly but not on mobile

if someone can help me I appreciate it
Hey guys, I have purchased the Newspaper theme and want to create an identical site as this except the colors and text. https://bit.ly/3VI3aJP
My main focus is on the mobile version and I am running behind the schedule and need urgent help.
I am having difficulty with getting it done. I know Elementor but Tag Div builder is new to me so I wanted your help in this.
Can anyone provide me a summary of the things used especially in the mobile view like the things I should be using to build that specific feature etc. I know I am asking a lot but I would really appreciate if anyone can guide me in the right direction.
Thank you so much in Advance!
Hello Anamaria,
you still seem to not understand what my issue is. Please have a look here: https://tinyurl.com/2zfrcjbk
When you click the featured image, it DOES NOT open a lightbox, but it opens the media URL. I don’t want it to be clickable/tappable – so when the user is clicking or tapping the image, I want nothing to happen.
How can I achieve that on the mobile theme? On the desktop version it works as expected, I have the lightbox / modal etc. deactivated and you can’t click it. But you still can on mobile.
I’m sorry that I opened this thread with a wrong explanation of my issue and I know you’re just trying to help, but it’s a little frustrating that I have to tell the same story now for the third time already.
Thanks,
eC
Hi,
Yes, you can hide elements on each version, desktop/tablet/mobile, you can hide them from the tab called “CSS” -> https://i.imgur.com/F7qxitF.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/jTvZ1ad.png
Thank you!
Hello,
Please check this code .wp-block-button .wp-block-button__link {
border-radius: 0;
cursor: pointer;
display: inline-block;
position: relative;
font-family: 'Open Sans', arial, sans-serif;
font-weight: 600;
padding: 9px 12px;
font-size: 16px;
line-height: 20px;
color: #EC3535;
}
.wp-block-button:not(.is-style-outline) .wp-block-button__link:hover, .wp-block-button:not(.is-style-outline) .wp-block-button__link:active {
background-color: #444 !important;
text-decoration: none !important;
color: #0790DE;
}
Set the code in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> Custom code.
Thank you!
is there a way to hide buttons or images, fields or other things on mobile devices?
Hi,
This -> https://i.imgur.com/xJN1wjr.png seems to be a default category template, please check in the theme panel to have the cloud category set -> https://i.imgur.com/to5qfqr.png and also check the categories that have the problem to use that category cloud template.
Also, please check it when you are logged in on mobile, the layout is the same or is ok? If is ok, then it is a cache problem.
Thank you!
Hello,
For logo please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on phone, select the header logo and change it => https://i.imgur.com/cR7F0v4.png https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
Seems you have the Mobile theme plugin activated, and it is disabled for the homepage. When you install and activate the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results
Also, if you create a mobile page, please make sure you assign it like this https://www.screencast.com/t/lektAhyjd

I have edited the cloud template for the category page in cloud templates. When I view the page in TD composer, it looks fine. But when I view ANY category page from my phone it is using a different theme layout!
The theme should look like this
but when I view on my phone it looks like this
PLEASE HELP! I launch my new subscription offers this weekend and I dont want my website to look like this. I just updated to newspaper 12 but I dont think that is the issue. I also have every category using the selected theme in theme panel
1. The home page shows a different menu and a different page layout than other pages on Mobile.
2. My page (e.g. about us) opens empty with no content on Mobile, but the page is normal when I visit it on PC.
3. Why does the logo image switch once to display the correct logo image when opened on mobile.
pls try to visit My website to test: https://www.fengshuibedroom.net/
Hello,
once again – I phrased my problem incorrectly. The featured image on the mobile theme / AMP is clickable, so has a media URL set. In the desktop version, I have it disabled everywhere, and it works as it should. But on the mobile theme, it still opens in a new tab. How can I prevent this?
Thanks,
eC
HI,
I have an issue with my membership plug inn and the Tag Div theme.
The plug inn causes the reset password link on the mobile and model pop up not to function correctly. The Plug inn developers can’t help so am reaching out to you to see Is there is a way of changing the ‘Forgot your password? Get help’ text into a link so I can send a user to a login page for reseting their password.
Many thanks
Ian
I know and I use it when I build my pages. However, I can’t explain why the mobile banner is blurry here whereas I did all what you mentioned : https://devenirbilingue.com/apprendre/anglais/application-logiciel/avis-duolingo-test/
Hi Anamaria,
I didn’t phrase my issue correctly: What I’m trying is to disable the featured image media URL in the mobile theme. Is this something that can be changed on my side, or do I need to contact the AMP dev’s about it?
Thanks,
eC
Hello,
I Would like to edit the amp block button with css customizations here: mobile theme > custom css
But it looks like the selector is not working: div.wp-container-1.wp-block-buttons > div > a:not(#_#_#_#_#_#_#_#_) – it looks like this.
Could you please help me how can i change the css of the certain button in AMP mode please?
Thanks,
Laszlo
Hi,
Please try the settings from this guide https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
I hope this will help you to improve the speed.
Also for the mobile version, please try to use the mobile theme plugin or the mobile page template -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!
Hi,
The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, if you want to use the cloud templates, then you need to disable the mobile theme and AMP plugins, and then use the responsive version.
You can use cloud templates with AMP.
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!

Hi, I’d like to avoid blurry banners like the one here at the top of the page when you open it on mobile: https://devenirbilingue.com/apprendre/anglais/application-logiciel/avis-duolingo-test/
For this one, I used a 320x100px which is (I think) a standard large mobile banner, and I thought that the theme would not resize it to show it on mobile.
What format should I create to get a nice and clear banner, and is there somewhere a list of default sizes for images and banners using Newspaper theme?
Thank you so much, it is an issue I have since a long long time and I’d be very happy to finally understand the answer!
