Hello,

To have the same design,n then you need to use the responsive, so please check if you have the mobile theme plugin activated, deactivate it, and if you have a mobile page, then unassign it.
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

Hi Anamaria,
“I see that now it’s the mobile version on the desktop” …what do you mean ?
On my desktop, with Chrome or Mozilla, I see a normal page, not like your screenshot
What should I do ? I aim to have main desktop site, with eventually looks good also in phones.
I have initially used the default cloud template, with little modifications, mainly supressing too many blocks.

So what should I correct/do to achieve the objective above ?
Thanks in advance,
Fabrice

Greetings Calin!

After a day of making the change and monitoring the mobile version of my website, no change has been observed… the error continues and the “Gossip” header continues to appear on the site’s homepage.

Is there any other solution that I can implement?

Hello.
I have a problem with the mobile version. When I scroll, the page does not advance.

Hello,

Usually, you should be able to edit the page with tagdiv composer, but I see that now it’s the mobile version on the desktop -> https://i.imgur.com/PWcesJP.png.

Thank you!

Hi,
As I can see in the screenshot the mobile theme is used, but looks is not apply. Did you disable it from some pages or posts?
If you want we can take a look at it, but for this you need to contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide temporary wp-admin access.
Thank you!

My website, dailybncnews.com is showing its sidebar below the article when visiting via Facebook mobile.

I will example link: https://dailybncnews.com/2022/09/28/komentarista-na-si-tommy-abile-alyas-bigwas-hinuli-dahil-sa-cyberlibel/

It’s really odd because when I’m visiting my website via chrome, the sidebar is not appearing.

Related articles are also not showing when visiting via Facebook mobile browser, but its working properly when using chrome mobile.

Is there a reason behind this?

Was just about to make a post about this – i like how the header has a desktop header / sticky and a mobile header / sticky option –

Was hoping the footer did too . .

Is there still a way to have something scroll horizontally? For example if you had 5 or 6 stories that you wanted to scroll left or right on a mobile phone.

Hello,

I am contacting you because we have a problem on our site: the template of our publications. It does not display as it should (on computer and mobile = https://imgur.com/a/d4eRJZd )
Normally it should be like this: https://imgur.com/a/QuHX1TW

It stopped working without any intervention on our part. I tried to change the template, but even with a new one nothing changes. (https://imgur.com/a/8VAlM8Q).

The post display works in the editor. but not at all in the “view”. Everything else works on our site.

I would love to have your help. Thanks.

I had the same issue on my site. https://sciencetrend.ca. But I resolved it by disableing 3 h1 tags.
I deteced two sets of h1 tags. One set was with desktop version logo (header), and other set was with the mobile version logo (header). Nothing with fotter logo.
I found one h1 tag while on top of the page. Another h1 tag I found while scorolling down, or scrolling up.
Therefore, in may case, there were four h1 tags (two with desktop and two with mobile).
I disabled three of the four: one desktop, and two mobile. Finally, the issue resolved.

how do you access this tagdiv title block ?
I have no, or not anymore, or I do not see it, this block to edit it like in your 1st screencapture

related to that, I see also very likely a theme bug here: it looks that the theme is using the content of that field sometimes, and sometimes using the tagline text of the logo: look at the change of the tagline in the sticky menu if you scroll up or tag (the wording itself is changing). Look also the tagline when moving from desktop to mobile; the tagline text is changing !

Hello,
Yes, the Newspaper is AMP compatibility. We also have a guide for amp -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Please use the amp with the mobile theme plugin and you can choose to use the mobile theme plugin only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/5k5Pc09.png
I hope this will help you!

please read my message …
I have already check “Disable H1 on logo”, including on mobile
and I have no footer logo/image/block with H1 title

some H1 option must be hidden somewhere … any other idea ?
Please have a look at the code of my page and tell me where the first H1 belongs (the 2nd is normal)

Hi FinPrepper,
It looks that you are using the mobile theme plugin and this is not configurated. If you want to have the responsive version, then just disable the mobile theme plugin. IF you want to use it, then please check our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for how to configurate it.
Thank you!

Greetings Calin!

thanks for your answer.

Yes, at this moment I am using the mobile page template. Regarding the headers, I’m only using one for the web version and one for the mobile version.

Otherwise I have removed all other headers.

Hi Calin,

I have updated the tagdiv plugin. When it was on the staging site the mobile menu would pop up but since I updated it on the live site it does not work.

How would I check if it is not caused by plugin conflict?

All the best
Thomas

Good morning, being an online magazine doing a back up would really take too much time. However, the problem persists. Especially for desktop view.

The mobile view on the other hand sometimes shows correctly and other times incorrectly.

Can you still check the problem?
