Hello,
I am using the Mobile Theme of Newspaper.
I entered the code provided by Google Ads in some sections in the Mobile Theme – Ads section. There are no errors in the code. However, ads still do not appear. What should I do?
Thanks
Hi, I have designed my website completely on desktop, then enabled Tagdiv Mobile Theme, The website speed was rocking. But after checking my website on Mobile it was loading different from my desktop, even I have changed Mobile theme settings and color to the same as desktop. but no luck, SO I have to disable it.
After disabling the Mobile Theme plugin, I am getting low speed on Google PageSpeed, the problem is Unused CSS etc.
Even I am using plugins like Automatize, WP Super Cache but still getting low speed.

Hi!
I just noticed that on mobile the height isn’t working. I guess it should be more pixels?
Could you take a look? ->

Is there a way to change the number of pixels for mobile? And how many pixels should it be?
Thanks!

Desktop posts are appearing as mobile posts. How do I fix this?
Here’s an example … https://journal.classiccars.com/2020/01/10/bitchin-camaro-resto-mod-70-coupe-has-big-block-v8-driving-upgrades/
Hi, I simply deactivate the mobile theme plugin.
Hi Vlad,
No worries. As a work around for now, I have change the setting to use the mobile theme only for AMP (which seems to be ok). And since Newspaper is nicely responsive, the pages look fine for now. I will keep watching for updates. (But I wasn’t the person who opened this thread so don’t close it as they may have more questions.)

Hi there, please see https://ecitybeat.com. The background image (of newspapers, on the Newsletter CTA) perfectly covers the row in desktop view, but does not do so in mobile. It has black borders around it.
How do I fix this? Please help!
Thanks,
Phil
Thank you for your help, everything is ok now I deactivated the mobile theme plugin.
Thanks!
Hi there. I have three questions about the AMP mobile view.
1. Where can I change the picture view?
2. Where can I change the category color?
3. How can I set the category over the heading?
Thank you, greeting Thorsten
Thankyou for the explanation, as I understand, I have two create 2 versions of the same page if I use the plugin. A desktop and a mobile. Am I right?
Hi,
The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
Also the grids can be set from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/UNgtmDU.png
Since Newspaper v9.7.4 you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, the amp is working with cloud templates, please provide me a link and a screenshots where I can find and check a disclosure on desktop so I can test it on mobile, in this way I will be able to provide you a better answer.
Thank you for your understanding!
If you want your website to look the same on mobile, just deactivate the mobile theme plugin and all fine. I just had same question and resolved it by deactivating the plugin, the NP theme is mobile friendly enough so there will be no problem for your site.
Hello,
I updated the theme, updated the plugin, tried both via the web and via ftp but the same problem always arises:
This version of the TagDiv Mobile Theme plug-in is not supported by the currently activated theme!
Make sure you have updated the theme correctly! Follow this guide.
I followed the guide:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
But the same problem always arises.
How can I solve it?
Thank you

Hi,
So you are using the mobile theme plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/xab6OJ3.png this will display the posts/content different from the desktop, maybe that’s the problem, also if you post an article and you have already open the homepage, in order to see the last post you’ll need to reload the page to update it.
If this is not what you mean, please provide some more details and some screenshots.
Hope this will help!
Thank you!

P.S. I deactivated the mobile theme and now I see all my details from the desktop on mobile devices, sorry for the noobish question #2.
Now all I have to do is to manage the sub-categories for my main categories in the flex block grid and fix the links.
Thank you in advance!
Hello !
You have to disable the mobile theme plugin. And edit the page with tagDiv Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/gsoqCvPbpnA ; https://www.screencast.com/t/gsoqCvPbpnA
I hope this was helpful !

Hi etinos,

Hello !
This player renders well on your mobile theme as you can see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/WkR3ha5h00wQ Unfortunately on the mobile theme you can’t do much about it.
Thank you for your understanding !
