Hi there,

I would like to redirect “Sign In/ Join” on the top-menu and “Join” on mobile to a custom form so customers don’t go through the WordPress page to register. I tried to change the path on top-menu.php but I failed to locate it. I found an answer from the forums for the same question, and the reply was to go to wp-content/themes/Newspaper/parts/header/top-menu.php but my version doesn’t seem to have ‘parts’ folder. I got the newspaper theme about 3 weeks ago. Could you let me know which php page I should go to set the path and redirect them.

Thank you in advance.

I’ve also verified in “Theme Panel”->”Mobile Theme” I’m not using the mobile version but the AMP version.

Website: 90sfashion.com

On mobile, the top nav menu isn’t showing. When I click the menu in the top left hand corner on mobile it opens up and says “Sign in Click here – to use the wp menu builder” instead of showing me the menu.I’m not sure what to do to get the same menu on desktop to show on mobile.

1. My theme is 9.7.2. Do I need to manually install the latest version? No additional theme updates are available for me.

2. Yes, the mobile theme has been activated.

3. Gutenberg editor doesn’t work for me. Gives me a white screen.

Hi Calin, I have written to you because I have checked all these tutorials however doesn´t work, and dou you think the mark of 4 in mobile is ordinary? or 31 on laptop?

Hello !

The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor.

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you !

Hello tagDiv, I’m an Italian customer, I’ve recently bougth Newspaper 9 theme and now I’m configuring my personal blog. I would like to ask you if there’s a way to have 2 different default post template, the first one for the desktop and the second one for mobile (I should use default style for desktop and style 7 for mobile). Thank you in advance for the answer.

Sincerely,
Fabrizio Giannuzzi Savelli.

Hello bettingspin,

we haven’t experienced your problems with WPRocket, but we don’t use the mobile theme of Newspaper. As a quick workaround a faster clearance setting of the WPRocket-Cache might be helpful.
There is also a setting in WP-Rocket to have a separate cache for the mobile pages. Maybe you should try to change this setting and see, if it helps.

AMP - reply

Hi Calin,

So, I removed cloudflare and Fast Velocity Minify and WP Optimize.
The only cache left is LSCache. That’s all. Nothing else.

In the Theme Panel, my mobile theme is set to Mobile + AMP.

In the AMP menu, the settings are:
– Website is checked
– Your install is configured via theme to use the Trasitional mode
– Supported templates: Posts, Pages, Singular and Homepage are checked

In Yoast AMP, only Posts and Pages are enabled.

But still, I have this bug on desktop:
https://ibb.co/qMQvCmj
https://ibb.co/hfb1TT2

How can I fix this once for all?

If we cannot fix this issue, is there a way to fully disable AMP?

Thanks

Thank you
that’s strange. For me – Jetpack caused my problem.
Once I uninstalled it, everything came back to normal for mobile version.

Maybe some temporary issue.

Hi,

If you want to remove the social notworks, just clear/remove the links from theme panel > social networks -> http://prntscr.com/pndvgo or you can use a custom css like this one > http://prntscr.com/pndvwt
#td-mobile-nav .td-menu-socials {
visibility: hidden;
}

Set the code in Theme panel> Custom code> Custom css

Thank you!

Hello! Just trying to make the perfect template… and got a question.

I do not really want my social media on it, and it is not a part from my menu settings.

From https://minecraft-resourcepacks.com/make-money-gaming/

It looks like https://imgur.com/a/nNG6nG4 on mobile (I do not want FB, Twitter, Youtube) ON MOBILE.

I have it selected as this Menu https://imgur.com/a/TemFtCM

Now, When in Menu (in WordPress) it shows up and does not have the social icons in it. https://imgur.com/a/QXas2rC

How do I remove the social media icons from the Menu (on Mobile Only)?

Just wanted to let you know I dook all the steps lol

Hi there – I’m using the mobile theme and don’t see the button on the top right to toggle the mobile theme on and off.

I’ve installed the gutenberg editor and the wordpress Classic Editor Plugin to try to get to the gutenberg editor as you describe in the instructions to no avail.

Hi, we are using WProcket as well and it is much much better than WP Supercache.

One problem we have found recently though is that after few hours if we don’t clean the cache the homepage instead of displaying the mobile editor version, it is showing the desktop version. If we clear the cache in Wprocket the problem disappear. Internal pages seems fine. Do you have experience similar issue and how can be resolved (apart from clearing cache frequently on Wprocket)?

Thanks

I have tested my web in PageSpeed Insights and my score is terrible: 1 point in mobile and 29 on laptop. My URL is: https://www.tuvisitaguiada.com/prueba/

I have configured the WP Super Cache Plugin like in your manual, but it doesn´t work.

My worst problems are:
-Remove resources that block rendering –> I don´t know how to do it.
-Enable text compression –> also the same.

I have checked this CSS delayed:
-1.6300 ms the load: td-legacy-framework-front-style | https://www.tuvisitaguiada.com/prueba/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/assets/css/td_legacy_main.css
-630 ms: rs-plugin-settings | https://www.tuvisitaguiada.com/prueba/wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/css/rs6.css
-750 ms: revmin | https://www.tuvisitaguiada.com/prueba/wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/rs6.min.js

The first I don´t know what is it, and the other I suppose is the Revolution Slider Plugin, but is so bad to slow so the load. Can you help me?

Thanks.
