Hi,
I’m glad that you manage the situation.
I think that in Autoptimize there are some specific settings that need to be made in order to work properly, we see a lots of users using this plugin without problems.
Have a nice day!
Hi,
If you want to have the same content on mobile version as on desktop version, you need to make sure that you do not use the mobile theme plugin, or use it only for amp plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/KPhWqnL.png
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
I actually switched from ‘Autoptimize’ to ‘Merge, Minify, Refresh’. That appears to have fixed it. I will keep an eye on it.
Thanks again
Liam
Hi Calin,
Thanks for your reply. Yeah I have just activated a CDN with Kinsta. When I deactivate the ‘Autoptimize’ everything goes back to normal.
As this in an untested plugin, have you heard of this error before?
Thanks
Liam
No doubt! Newspaper is a great theme. I am using shared hosting, so I need perfect optimization.
But I am unable to optimize the website speed with this theme.
I need to disable

– ajax loads
I need to add Facebook messenger on the share button.

Hi,
Yes, this can be achieve, but this depend on the layout and page dimension you have, plugins you are using and how well the website is optimize.
If you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website, but indeed you need to use cache plugins, maybe a CDN.

Thanks imkimc! Fast Minify recommendation is amazing!! Was using Auto Optimize this way better. Thanks.
Calin, your answer, I’m sorry to say, was more of the same.
As I said, I have already searched the TagDiv forum for solutions * even I have read and made all the improvements recommended in the articles you sent me *
Just yesterday I saw these articles after searching the forum. Nothing resolved. The problem is in the consumption of PLUGINS.
TagDiv is the one who needs to optimize the plugins. Just notice how many complaints were opened due to the plugin – TODAY ONLY.

Hi,
Thank you for your kind words!
1. If you want to reset or set a number for post view counter on all post you can do it using this functions.
For example using this function – https://pastebin.com/pKcWYFUt
The value can be changed, I set it to 1000. Enter it in the theme functions file. Refresh a post page and check if the views were updated. Then remove the function and the view should increase from the set value.
Or if you want do do it only for few post you can do it manually, go in posts and enable the custom fields -> https://i.imgur.com/NavHTFn.png after that down in post will appear the the custom field options -> https://i.imgur.com/waKZBHe.png chnage it -> https://i.imgur.com/NAFEi9p.png and check the results.
2. You can try to use with our theme the Contact Form 7 plugin to create a contact forum, you can check the tutorial from here -> https://themeisle.com/blog/how-to-set-up-contact-form-7/ hope this will help you!
Also you can use one of our cloud page from here -> https://i.imgur.com/WqHsTcz.png -> https://i.imgur.com/AkUy7qB.png with contact 7 plugin.

Last question: I’m assuming that this problem appear on posts that have set infinite loading, you’ll need to edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and disable the infinite loading.
-> https://tagdiv.com/infinite-loading-for-single-posts/ from post -> https://i.imgur.com/yIf6fA3.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/KeclHLS.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/4jHIHFY.png

Hi,
This is a cache file -> https://prnt.sc/rwltyx this is made by the cache plugin you are using.
You can disable the style from here -> https://i.imgur.com/HQHC2or.png

Hi,
As I can see the problem is that the favicon is not loading on posts on mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/6BeSI5D.png this can be because you have the mobile theme plugin activate, but the cache or optimize plugin that you are using do not recognize that and is trying to set the favicon as on responsive version..
Thank you!
Hi,
The video problem that you have are from website optimization, please make a test with our theme, for me everything is normal, I do not have this problem -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_covid19_news_pro/ if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.

Also I checked the website to see where is this character ( ^ ) and I can not find it.
If you are using this option -> https://prnt.sc/rw4uj2 the theme will load on mobile an image instead of the video and the video will be load only after you tap on that image (you’ll need to tap twice, the first time to activate the video and the second time to play it).
Also I checked your amp version and this is displaying correct -> https://i.imgur.com/51NXvfr.png

Hi,
I just tested your page speed and is look that now the preload key requests are lower -> https://i.imgur.com/liqyyyH.png using the guides above for theme optimization you should be able to optimize these parts too.
Also the theme support is not covering the Google PageSpeed -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ if you want help with Google PageSpeed you can cehck our services from here -> https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Thank you for your understanding!
I have a serious problem, which has already cost me a lot of money – almost $ 750 between server changes.
It turns out that for some time I have used the Newspaper theme for my news portal, which has an average of 150 to 250 thousand accesses per day.
I was on a Siteground server, but I decided to abandon it because it simply did not support the weight of the site, and did not give me more advantageous options.
I migrated from server. In the first week, everything was great – the theme was extensively optimized, we included the recommended caches, in addition to applying code in functions.php to optimize the loading of the site.
We also included a CDN to feed the resources and all other optimizations suggested by TagDiv at https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
Basically, the server was left to run the WordPress application and the theme. We also optimized the admin-ajax-php.
BUT even with an 8x 3.5GHz server / 32 GB DDR4 / 960 GB of storage and 1 GBPS of dedicated link, and all possible optimizations, the site continues to feed on all available resources, sometimes making the site fall.
This has happened since the last update of the theme. The plugins that accompany the theme use a high server load.
I did several tests, deactivating all plugins, keeping only the mandatory plugins – and the server load has not decreased.
Now, when I disable the plugins for the theme itself, magically the load decreases dramatically (see images).
The conclusion is that the mandatory plugins to use the cloud and TagDiv’s standard compositor suck all the resources, making the site heavy, regardless of the optimizations applied.
If we are wrong, after all, how can we solve this, if we have already done everything we could.
In fact, the company that sells the server informs us that the consumption of plugins is very high.
LOOK >>> https://imgur.com/ZDFOyoM
At the end of the graph, when it falls, it is the moment when the plugins are disabled.
How can we solve this?

Thank you for your understanding!
Over the past two weeks, I’ve been going back and forth with my webhost, Siteground regarding why my site with Newspaper is loading slow. I have optimized pretty much everything I could and get a 99% pagespeed score on GTMEtrix, and paid an outside WordPress specialist to optimize a few things, yet the waiting time for the theme template seems to be the major holdup now. Here’s what my webhost said:
The issue that the website is facing, is that it’s theme takes around 8 seconds to load, you can confirm this from the following excerpt:
Code:
+————+———-+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+
| stage | time | query_time | query_count | cache_ratio | cache_hits | cache_misses | hook_time | hook_count | request_time | request_count |
+————+———-+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+
| bootstrap | 2.2626s | 0.0195s | 11 | 100% | 685 | 0 | 1.829s | 5109 | 1.0065s | 1 |
| main_query | 0.5591s | 0.0528s | 7 | 100% | 110 | 0 | 0.2545s | 277 | 0s | 0 |
| template | 7.933s | 0.9626s | 95 | 100% | 2386 | 0 | 7.5584s | 5834 | 0s | 0 |
+————+———-+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+
| total (3) | 10.7548s | 1.035s | 113 | 100% | 3181 | 0 | 9.6419s | 11220 | 1.0065s | 1 |
+————+———-+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+
As you can see the template part takes 7.9 seconds to load, this is only for the theme of the website.
Here is a recent GTMetrix report I ran: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/upliftguide.com/kCEue69Z
I run the Newspaper theme on my main site without this issue, albeit using a different demo, so I am stumped on why this template is taking so long to load. Can you help?
