The real problem is not the speed which you can see is good enough checking in GTmetrix from my closest location. The problem that I have is since I tried to deactivate the TagDiv Standard Pack my CPU olverloads and make my site slower overall when I access the admin and try to upload an image or even install a newspaper cloud template. I don’t really know if the theme had any problem with the accumulated css or js but it doesn’t happen with other themes I have tested.
¿Do you think a clean installation will work? if so what would be the steps? Change theme > Delete > Clean Cache > Install and customize? I am afraid I delete the theme and conserve all the old data from other version and doesn’t let me install it again (remember a simple image is collapsing the server)

Thanks for the response. If this were isolated to just my production environment, that would be a quite logical approach to troubleshooting. However, I have seen many other threads in the support form (like this one) that talk about the same issue happening. I could search and link to them but I’m sure your team is well aware of them.
Interestingly, the search icon on the mobile version works as expected, sliding out from the right. It’s just the hamburger menu which is acting incorrectly (as Lucas above indicated through screenshots and which I confirm is happening on my site as well).
So, I’m trying to see if there are any commonalities between our environments, something that might indicate a conflict or issue. Off the top of my head, the possible conflicts I could see are:
– Using WP Rocket (caching)
– Using Cloudflare
– Using JS/CSS minification (do we need to exclude certain object from this)
– Using Jetpack
– Using a CDN
Unfortunately, setting up a staging environment (which I have) using CloudFlare, CDN, and JetPack would require paying for those services on a separate instance and are cost-prohibitive. In my staging (without those items), everything performed as expected, btw.

The word “H Verslun” is a link that leads to a different site. How can I set a color for all links in posts so that the word “H Verslun” and other links in other posts, automatically turn f.ex. pink or red.

I too have the same issue listed as #1 on the original post. This recently started happening. I was thinking it had to do with caching of the CSS/javascript. For me, it’s complicated to troubleshoot as I have many plugins as well as use CloudFlare, WP Rocket, and MaxCDN. Sometimes when I clear the caches/CDN, it fixes but then the issue happens on Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
It would be great to understand the environments where people are having this issue (as I have seen other threads about this same thing – screenshot of #1 shows exactly what I am experiencing). Caching plugin? CloudFlare? CDN?
My site is https://hightechdad.com (but I’m continuing to troubleshoot so it may work or it may not).

After adding adsense code in header, like in the image, our translations for header banner and footer do not apply correctly.

I have prepared WP with Newspaper on my testing URL and now I need to move web to real URL. But I can’t figure out how to do it with Newspaper theme: I moved WordPress installation as usual, but everything configured in Newspaper Theme panel went wrong (logos, backgrounds etc. files) – because apparently Newspaper saves everything in absolute addresses (oldurl.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/logo.jpg etc.) Even if I use Theme panel Export/Import option, situation is the same.
I guess Newspaper saves all options in wp_options table td_011 record. I tried changed old URLs to new one but then whole Newspaper configuration disappeared… I seems to me there is special syntax of config field which counts characters and since I change URL, checksums do not match and config is don’t working at all….
Please, what is correct method, how to change URL in Newspaper theme? E.g. when I’m moving web to real URL or on another hosting?

If this is a banner ad then you can use the specific code for mobile and -> https://i.imgur.com/R48r0cr.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/ if you are using a single image, the use the tagDiv Composer to edit it on all device -> https://i.imgur.com/Nq0f0lZ.jpg

This is not obligatory, usually the ads are provide on the size is consider that look the best on the space left from these, also these should be automatically center in that place, you can check some of our demos to see how the are display -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ on some demo’s these are the same size, on others the ads sidebar is larger.

We just installed revolution slider and are having issues with the activations.

It was described that these plug-ins worked fully with the newspaper theme. Therefore, please may you provide a solution to how we able to access this and all other features that supposedly need activation.

ads appear small in the ad space next to it. 300 * 250 form but does not appear in full size. the other components I add side by side fit exactly, but the ads remain small. How do I enlarge? automatic ads.
I have solved the problem but for what I was inspecting the main problem with my Opengraph overlay. It is not producing an image but working with other themes. Can you help me out why it is happening?

I installed Life News PRO demo and it’s quite slow compared to other demos (Gadgets demo).
I don’t have a lot on the front page but it still loads slow, especially on mobile.
I asked friends to test it out and they said it’s slow.
I use GoGeek plan from Siteground.

On desktop, is there a way for Google Adsense to decide which header ad should load? The reason I ask is that right now if you select Theme Panel > Ads > Header Ad > “Auto” for Desktop, it will display a 728 x 90 ad. If you select “970 x 250,” for example, it will only display the 970 x 250 ad all the time and doesn’t serve 728 x 90 ads on desktop.
Is there any way for Adsense to decide which banner should load without us forcing one or the other?

My clients site looks very distorted when viewed in IPads. Looks fine on other devices though. Even when I log into WordPress it still looks distorted. I think it happened with the Newspaper X upgrad. Also noticed that WordPress loads very slow since upgrading.

yes i did find and followed that tutorial, but this is not my question.
– Question is about the default WP thumbnails settings ?? do we need those images sizes, is it supposed to be set like that by default ?
– or Do the settings of Newspaper images thumnails is taking over the WP media setting options ?
and another thing that i don’t understand is, it’s two times i’m running Regenerate thumbnails, and tired with force regenerate thumbnails as well, but when i go inside the “uploads” folder on the FTP, I don’t see any new dates on files on the server, nor new names or thumnails version.
also, seems that the plugins “regenerate thumbnails” VS “Force regenerate thumbnails” are not working the same way? do you confirm ?

I just installed a fresh version of Newspaper v10.2 and get the following type of error, like many others here:

I tried removing the logo, clearing the cache, etc. Doesn’t work. How is this fixed?

Can you please tell me that WHY we need to edit the style.css or do extra edits on files, etc, or hire someone to do that as you suppose?
It is very disappointing that I paid for your theme, and this is not mentioning on the Envato Theme Forest buying process screen.
You have to declare this and what is stupid that you already say that you are one of the best themes in the market BUT I HATE THIS flash/loading problem with custom font, menus, widths etc first and than original BOUGHT theme’s items loads after a sec.
You have to solve this problem in order to offer us to edit loads of things. I never saw this situation on any other theme sellers.
If you insist that you are one of the best, you have to solve this with the updates.
If I install for example City Demo, than you have to put what is needed on the style css or whatever. Your original demos already has this flash sec problem even I dont edit anything in theme panel, dont have any code on the CSS part etc.

For automatic optimization of your existing images and subsequent uploads, install and configure the ‘WP-Optimize plugin’. Make sure you disable caching on WP-Optimize if you are already using another caching plugin. Also, before you upload your pictures, you can compress them using photoshop or compressnow.com.

I just tried to insert ad-code directly into an adBox element in my cloud header. I wanted to switch the code between the different screen-sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile …) and just found out, that the code is always the same. I’m not able to enter different code for the different sizes. Is this another bug?
Auto ads is no option for me, because I’m not only displaying Google Ads so I must have the control over the ad places, to sell them.

I have a problem with this cache plugin because when I click on “More From Author” at bottom of post it just won’t load other posts from the author. Please don’t advise me to change to a different cache plugin because this is the fastest by far possible becasue it preloads all url’s.

Hello – I set my Google Adsense settings to only show ads on the sidebar and bottom of the article https://www.screencast.com/t/0EuKN9WxN. However when I pull up my site I’m seeing ads in other areas such as https://www.screencast.com/t/tlIAX4rcy. Why is this happening and how can I prevent it?
My client has a very specific set of ads that go on pages with a certain category. These categories can hold hundreds of pages, so doing the ads individually for each page isn’t ideal. Is there a way for me to achieve this using the Theme Panel > Ads? If not, is there any other elements within the tagDiv Composer to achieve this? Thanks so much.
