Thanks Bettina for your reply. The workarround does not work with the tempalte, because it resizes the Single Post Featured Image automaticly. Besides that, we have about 20.000 news articles online right now, all with a featured image, so that would be a challenge.

Is it possible to set the element Page Title as an inline element(?) on top off the Single Post Featured Image (we then can set the font colour to white). That would solve part of the issue, because now we have to put the page title of a single post above or below the featured image, wich is valuable space on a screen as you can inmagin.

The resize would be nice if that could be done in template custom css ofcourse. Any hint for both issues would be appreciated Bettina.

Hello!

We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Thanks for the quick response Bettina. Appreciate it!
As my feedback, it does not look good actually to render those base template pages but I understand that is how the TagDiv designed it. Maybe in future you guys can change this behaviour.

Thanks!

Hello,

The footer template does not have the button to be edited with tagDiv Composer in the backend. Please check this guide:https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
If you have a Pro Prebuilt Website you can edit with tagDiv Composer the footer template can be edited only from the frontend if it is assigned, edit a page/post template with tagDiv Composer and go down to the footer. => https://www.screencast.com/t/rpfNhfyrF

Also, the footer style from Theme Panel is for standard template and you need to have tagDiv Standard Pack activate and set No Template.

Hi, how are you?
In this image:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wllkh0DnrDmSIK9zHplTUe_sd8lyQKF6/view?usp=sharing
is possible to see that, after last update, isn’t possible to edit with tagDiv the Footer template in Clouds Templates. Even the button in the editor page (when I click ‘Editar’ link) doesn’t appear.

How I can do?

I tryed to create e new template, but when select a Footer template, it appear the same problem.
I tryed to copy the code (click on Edit, copy the raw code of page) in another page that have the “Edit with TagDiv Composer” link, but, after saving, the page doesn’t load again…

It seems that have a miss understanding between footer code and TagDive composer.

Can you help me please?
Have a great day

Hello,
I have a problem where it seems the mobile theme seems to be excluding the desktop one. Here is my website:
https://www.carvibz.com/

I just installed a Gossip PRO mobile template just to make sure the one I made isn’t the problem. On desktop it’s showing as it would on a tablet based on mobile theme. Meanwhile, the mobile posts seem to be showing the responsive version of desktop and not the mobile template I gave them. But the desktop version is showing correctly even though the main page isn’t.

Have you guys seen anything like this before? Is it a setting I’m missing, a problem with the header?

Hello,

Please let me know how you set the WooCommerce on the page because from your screenshot seems you don’t have set any template/page for Shop.
If you set the code in the element WooCommerce Shortcodes https://i.imgur.com/FuQQUaL.png then you need to change it from Theme Panel -> Template settings -> WooCommerce template => https://i.imgur.com/iAaWQda.png
Also, you can apply cloud templates for products and you can edit them with tagDiv Composer -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_shop_makeup/shop/

Thank you!

Hello,

1. You can disable the mobile theme plugin only for pages and posts, not for cloud templates.
2. if you referring to this => https://i.imgur.com/q9mCiSH.png, then you can disable the date from Theme Panel -> Block Settings -> Meta info on Modules/Blocks => https://i.imgur.com/9wnr4Tn.png this setting applies to all blocks on the mobile theme.

Thank you!

Thats just Home link! I want to show ALL Parents.
for example: Home >> Level 1 >> Level 2 >> Article-Title.

What kind of solution do i have?

You will find that there is only one solution: Pagebuilder + Page Title Template.
If you know another one, I’d love to hear from you.

Hello,

Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Better deactivate the mobile theme plugin and see the results, and assign the mobile page for page, like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/lektAhyjd
Also, clear your cache.

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Hello,

Unfortunately, I saw you use a footer template style from Theme Panel, so you need to make the changes in the theme files, or you can create a footer page https://i.imgur.com/2gz7HAi.png with tagDiv Composer and to set the logo you can use the element single image => https://i.imgur.com/hsA6Pi2.png

Thank you!

Hi,

I’ve set my website to allow users to signup, but I have an issue. Although the new user’s default role is Subscriber, its frontend page uses the template for the “Author”, and it’s an inconvenience.
How can I fix this and use a unique page for subscribers?
Regards,
IM

Hello!

We’re fine, thanks.
Let me explain you which options of mobile versions are:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

If you need a responsive version or to build mobile pages, then please deactivate the Mobile theme plugin and see the results!

Thank you!

hm ok. But the settings are under “Page template” and not under “blog and posts template”.

Hello,
I have already done that.
However, the breadcrumbs element from the composer only shows ONE parent element in the breadcrumbs.
With the Pagebuilder + Title Template, the full breadcrumb path is displayed. So ALLE parent elements.

Hello,

Please set the page template to default => https://i.imgur.com/9ZYjilk.png and set the page title and breadcrumbs from tagDiv Composer https://i.imgur.com/eksCWex.png

Hi,
Using Newsmag theme, tagDiv Composer can be used only on page, so you can not use it for category templates.
Also, our Newsmag theme has a general system for ads, in case that you want to have more control over them, you can try some plugins:

Hi Team,

I bought the plugin (https://wcproducttable.com/) and it does not look good on the website. Basically, the table takes its 100% width and removes sidebar completely (it was supposed to be on the left side).

I do not use tagdiv shop in this shop, so I rely on global settings. The thing is that the plugin requires to change archive-product.php to the one provided by plugin developer. Considering this, I think that the problem may lie with Newspaper’s WooCommerce Template (Theme Panel – > template settings -> WooCommerce Template). After I switch the files, any widget I create in appearance settings goes down below the shop page. There is no possibility to make the sidebar go to left or right.

Is there any way I could influence the widget area to appear where it should?
