How do I change page editor from code to drag and drop (or at least to the editor that was featured with this template)?
For those of you who are interested, i have found a temporary workaround for this problem.
1. Create footer as page with TD-Composer
2. Load any Footer Cloud Template
3. Replace the code of the Footer Cloud Template with the code of the footer page
4. At the beginning of the code change [tdc_zone] to [tdc_zone type=”tdc_footer”]
5. Now you can assign the changed footer cloud template to any page, e.g. Home (via TD Composer -> Website Manager)
Hi Calin,
Yes, the Footer is a cloud template but why is it not editable with td composer? To create a footer as a page and edit it with td composer makes only limited sense because only cloud templates can be added to different pages as footers via td composer website manager. There is no way to add pages there.
Hello!
I have a page with an archive of all my posts. For this, I set up a page with the template “pagebuilder +latest articles + pagination”. Works good.
But now I want to get rid of the “standard pack plugin”. But by disabling this plugin the template is gone and the archive looks like a mess. I found no way to apply an archive-template to the page.
How to set up an archive page (latest articles) with all articles and a normal linked pagination and paged-urls (…/page/23)?
Hello !
1. Follow our video guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo
2. You will have to remove that using tagDiv Composer ( all the pro demos and cloud library templates are fully editable using tagDiv Composer) : https://www.screencast.com/t/l2L0bxfOx Simply right click and delete.
3. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
4. Follow step 3.
5. That can be done from Theme panel – Mobile theme – Theme colors.
Thank you !
Hello !
Please take a look at our guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/ and also this topic regarding the same matter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-create-a-custom-single-template/
Thank you !
I made a new WordPress installation fo test the theme, but I can’t edit any page from the demo content for the template pulses pro.
If I try to edit anything I get the following error:
This page isn’t working
….. didn’t send any data.

I have discovered an issue with a plugin I use ‘WpDevArt Facebook Comments’ plugin with Newspaper theme.
This plugin allows users who are logged into Facebook to post comments right away. Hwoever, the issue is that comments are loading for all category pages which should not be the case. It’s an issue as the FB comments are slowing the site down and they should not be loaded on category pages.
You have the plugin set to only show on posts but unfortunately, not only, is this not the case but it’s a known issue: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fb-comments-on-category-pages/ The person in that thread uses the same theme as me and the plugin developer has asked them to reach out to TagDiv who created the theme.
The template I am using for Categories is a Cloud Template called Category 9 Template. I have not manually added the FB Comments which means the plugin is injecting its code into these category pages, regardless that you have told the plugin only to run on Posts.
Can anyone help me with this?
Hi,
I am currently re-building my whole site with td composer and cloud library. I am running in some trouble with the background color of my sticky column. Every time I scroll down the content the column is sticky but the bg color is gone. I think I just misconfigured something in td composer.
Second I reused a cloud template. Within the hero image is a button that links to a row of the same page. After clicking on the button the page should scroll slowly to the position. Right now it jumps directly to it. How can I manage that?
Would be nice if you could give me a hint.
Unfortunately I can’t share a link as the custom template is not live yet.
Thanks,
Norman
Hello, Team.
My website is https://namhyojin.com
The id is “tempnam”, and pw is “pK)E%S*VaCTj)dMF5pocUopg” for a temporary use.
I have several issues like below. Please help me for solving the issues below.;
1) The logo is not shown. How can I show them and hide “NEWSPAPER DISCOVER ART OF PUBLISHING”?
; I uploaded logo files for web and mobile but the logos are not shown. In the mobile site, instead of my logo, “NEWSPAPER DISCOVER ART OF PUBLISHING” is shown which I want to remove.
https://namhyojin.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/NAMHYOJIN-PROJECT_mobile-front.pdf
2) In the footer, I want to remove the “FOLLOW US ON INSTAGRAM @…” Part.
; I installed the classic pro template. In the footer, I already disabled SHOW THE FOOTER INSTAGRAM SECTION but “FOLLOW US ON INSTAGRAM @…” is still showing. How can I remove the part while I still show the footer with social icons.
3) If I open my site at a mobile phone, the “Latest Articles” page is shown like 3.1. How can I show the first mobile page like 3.2, not 3.1?
3.1) https://namhyojin.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/NAMHYOJIN-PROJECT_mobile-front.pdf
3.2) https://namhyojin.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Screen-Shot-2020-07-30-at-11.46.41-PM.jpg
4) If I open my site at a mobile phone, the ABOUT US and FLOOW US texts are shown in the footer. How can I remove the ABOUT US and FLOOW US texts?
https://namhyojin.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/NAMHYOJIN-PROJECT_mobile-front.pdf
5) How can I change the background color of the menu at the mobile site? I want to change the color from violet/red to black.
https://namhyojin.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/NAMHYOJIN-PROJECT_menu.pdf
Thanks for your support in advance.
Hi. I am using your template and i really like working with it. One problem though…. Some of the images are forced into place holders of various size. So in one place the image looks great. In another place a head can be cut off or similar. See the lion on this page: https://naturephotostories.com/author/peterdelaney/
Is there a way to position images when you add a post. For example this image I would align with the bottom so that the whole lion would be seen. Another one maybe is centered… Is that possible?
I have create the https://capitallinkshipping.com/category/company-channels/ with the Cloud Templates as a Category page.
In mobile view doesn’t display the template that i have create. Display the posts as a simple category.
Please check out of what I mean.
Thank you.
1. Is it have a possibility to create a sticky column as it exists with the sticky sidebar?
Sometimes one column can be much shorter than the other columns and I wish to stick the shorter column till I scroll the longer ones. I want to do this to eliminate the sidebar, because on the columns I have much more freedom in design, then in a widget which is used in the sidebar.
2. How can I create my widget with td composer and use it later as a widget?
3. I installed the Old Fashioned theme, and I wish to edit the existing header template, author page template and the Blog and Post template without downloading a new design from the cloud or downloading a blank template, because I wish just some minor changes on the existing one, but when I download the same from the cloud, it’s looking completely different.
4. Is your theme have a different category block styles similar that exist on MagPlus theme,
http://themebubble.com/demo/magplus/category-block/
if not can be advice me to make it (I wish to achieve different images which will represent a category and will be connected to its category page, but on hover, I wish some effect that viewers can see which category is active) actually, I got a similar result with a single image shortcode. Still, I want to add it to the sidebar area.
5. I can’t save a column properly as an element. I did save it but when I want to use it it show just empty space.
First timer here so sorry for the basic question. How do I go about adding a shortcode list to the middle of my Single Post Template?
I’ve tried dragging it onto my page, but the only two places I’m able to add it is above or below my content block. I need it to be in the middle…
Appreciate any help.
I just uploaded Newspaper v 10.3.5. to my site. The “Install/Activate Plugins” failed, but I was able to install required plugins from the “Plugins” tab. There is no “Activate Theme” tab. There is no theme panel.
Screenshot: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/showImage?img_id=5100635
I tried deactivating all plugins that aren’t managed by WordPress, where I host my site on the Business Plan). It didn’t help.
Please advise. Thank you.
P.S. Several hours later… I talked to WordPress. They shared these errors:
Not sure, I’m seeing some fatal errors with respect to the theme, one moment

Hi,
so I am trying to delete my header for one specific site (the landing page), not on all sites.
There is is this non-published site, which I am currently working on through “TD Composer”.
I select Manager -> Website Manager
And here it gives me two options for header and footer each:
“No header” vs “Global template”
So I select “no header” and save. and it disappears.
Then i revisit tha page, and it reappears!
I would like all other sites to keep tha header template, but have none for this site. Thank you for your help.
Hello !
Unfortunately not. You can create a blank template on your new website and copy the content code from the template you have created.
You can copy the code from one page and copy it to another as you can see here:
Open the page editor: https://www.screencast.com/t/rSUgDDPWJEI6
Copy the code: https://www.screencast.com/t/rcwnC8j6
And you can paste the code in another page which will become editable using tagDiv Composer.
Thank you !
Hi team,
While running the performance test it says that we are having Excessive DOM size in the Theme which should be reduced can you tell us how can we overcome this issue?

Hi Ludwig Arcache,
Please provide some more details about these code, and how you set it. Also I see that you are using cloud templates, make sure that the code set in theme panel set set in these cloud template too. For this you need to use tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hi julingn,
If you are using a single post template from tagDiv Cloud library then you can edit theme using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/7H8nBG4.png -> https://i.imgur.com/PQKvX7i.png
If you are using default post templates, then you need to edit these files -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single/loop-single-1.php
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi yudi budiman,
The thing is that cloud templates so not need to be edited with classic editor, only with tagDiv Composer, also the footer template is a special template and it can be edited only if it is assigned on some pages/templates for example, you can edit the homepage with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/FQx8XR2.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/6gp0Cxp.png -> https://i.imgur.com/VUcMQVG.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
These widgets must to be assigned in theme or somewhere to be display. Usually our theme is using elements from tagDiv Composer also now the posts and categories from pro demos are using cloud templates that can be edited and set only with tagDiv Composer.
Usually the widgets are set as sidebars on standard templates -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/
If you want to set the widgets you can also do it using tagDiv Composer, all you need to do is to set the the sidebar widget -> https://i.imgur.com/jvcRC7z.png -> https://i.imgur.com/yiMSFnL.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
For post you need to use the same template -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
Also the pages can be edited using tagDiv Composer -> https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/
If this is not what you mean, please provide some more details.
Thank you!
One last note: This same page takes FOREVER to load, with minimal changes made from the downloaded cloud template. Flipping through the other pages appears fine, but if you click on “home” you’ll see just how ridiculously long it takes. What is going on w this demo theme and homepage template?
site can be viewed at chartcuteri.com
Current landing page is set as a separate post page. Clicking Home on the menu will demonstrate what I am seeing. Please help as this theme has been nothing but problems from Day 1.
When I created a new page with help of Ready-to-use page Templates – on the step 1 – Template import was done well.
When I try to save and open Page – I can see an Empty page
is it Template Bug Or what am I doing wrong? please explan 🙁
