That depends. The theme has an option to set a background image for each category https://prnt.sc/gQRJ5oHWRBpv
But if you want to just display an image, it could be done like this. Are you using Yoast SEO perhaps, or a similar SEO plugin? These add a text editor for the category description, and you could add the image there https://prnt.sc/aFbLqPwF_u1Q and the image will appear in the category page.
It could also be done using a custom field, but that will involve code modifications to the category template to display the custom field, also with a condition to display it only in the desired category. It’s easier to do it with the category description if possible.

Unfortunately, those shortcodes are available only on single templates.
The shortcodes available for pages are the Author box and authors box, and using a flex block 1, you can display the author and the post date.

Yes that is what I did. I rolled back to a previous state from the hosting providers backup before updating. However, it is still the same issues.
I reverted to previous version 12.6.8 and for now I am just recreating lost colors and fonts, and also re-assigning and re-designing the templates. See https://double-glazing-windows.co.uk
Unfortunately there is still issues with the new update.
The social share buttons on the blog are no longer visible. But the main issue with 12.6.9 is that when frontend user submits a CPT “domain”, the submit button is loading forever and the page is not redirecting to my designated link (but I still receive the users submission in the backend). User doesn’t know this of course so they cannot proceed to payment with paypal (a custom link I made for one-time payments.
This issue does not exist for me on 12.6.8 so for now so I will wait until you fix the bugs before updating as I lost a lot of things and I have other licences on my other websites which I don’t want to experience the same issues.

So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

You can use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/aaa-option-optimizer/ to sort and delete the autoloaded options. I see that the limit for the autoloaded options size is 800 KB. I recommend checking if you use standard templates from the theme panel, blocks from 1 to 25, and big grid blocks. Replace them with cloud templates and Flex block and big grid flex blocks, and disable the tagdiv Standard pack plugin. The prebuilt website doesn’t affect your page speed and how the website loads, but maybe on the other website, you have other extra plugins, and you optimized the website using the cache plugin, a plugin for images, and the OMGF plugin for Fonts. This depends on how your website is optimized and what plugins you use. You can provide the link to your website to check it.

Is there a way (either in cloud template or in the code) to display a post like in category pages like the one linked below, but make it so if there was no content in the post itself, it would show the meta fields and featured image, but disable the link so it showed up in the category listings, but would not link to the blank post?

How do you change the image and remove stuff from the home page with newsmag. I’m using the fashion template and can’t get rid of the demo content image. It only lets me edit one block too.

I’m sorry for the delayed response. What I don’t understand is why you would want the footer to be sticky because it normally appears when the page content is long, and there is no extra space there. I’ve managed to work it down to where the problem is, but still can’t find what’s causing it.
I have all plugins switched off apart from TagDiv Library and Composer.
I have 2 mega menus that link to pages.
The DOM issue comes when I add in either the ‘flex loop builder’ or ‘flex block builder’ into the 2 pages i’m using as mega menus.
For the Module Template that i’m calling, I created a blank template, with no details on it – and even that is throwing the DOM errors, so there’s nothing broken/wrong in the template.
Even if I create a Flex Block Builder on one menu, and Flex Loop Builder into the other menu, I still get the DOM issue.
I’ve also created empty pages where i’ve stripped ALL of the header/footer/content and just left the menu, and I still receive the error.

A much simpler and faster alternative is to duplicate the cloud template you want to use in another language, edit it and select the desired language – https://i.imgur.com/z1CqgBo.png (edit the name) – https://i.imgur.com/dPX8ROs.png – https://i.imgur.com/Lc81IgP.png This method needs to be used to translate all cloud templates.
The pages are created with tagDiv Composer which is a page builder, when WPML is used it cannot translate everything that was built with the page builder and must be edited for each language separately. Please open the page in the editor and click on translate – https://i.imgur.com/TXH6y1c.png. After, if you duplicate the template, you can edit it to change the logo, menu, and whatever you want.
When you make the corrections, make sure you are on the page with the language you are editing, and if you use the cache, or object cache, please clear it.

This demo uses listings and is a taxonomy template, so you can not assign it on any page; it is only on a taxonomy. When you install the demo without content, you need to set it up to look like in the demo. When you install it with content, then you need to have the ACF plugin installed and active. I hope you’re doing well. I would like to inquire about the display of the Newspaper theme on mobile devices.
I have checked it using Safari and Chrome on my iPhone 13.
On the desktop version, everything appears perfectly, and when using developer mode to preview the mobile layout, there are no issues. However, when I check it on my actual phone, only the homepage inherits the template’s styles, while other pages do not.
Could you provide any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I would appreciate your guidance.

yes of course I understand perfectly well in fact it does not produce me any inconvenience to work them from PAGE of WordPress.
It was just a matter of order, to know if I could also see in Cloud Templates, and have everything organized there.
For the past two days, the “edit the template” option has not been available on the homepage. Nevertheless, it is available on other pages and posts. It’s just the homepage. I checked in all different browsers, cleared the cookies, and checked in incognito mode. The issue remains. I also updated the Newspaper theme today, but the issue still remains. Please fix.
I have a problem with the category template.
In my site categories are used by two post types (Post and News).
In a specific category template I have planned that these two post types are in separate blocks, but for some reason the block that should only show “post” also shows news.

The second block with a light gray background should show 9 news type contents with ajax pagination => IT WORKS

I am working on a custom post type for events (i have some ACF field set for them that includes start date field). I’ve managed to create custom post type template and it works fine. On an individual event page I would like to display a flex grid (similar one like we have below the posts) that displays upcoming next four events and I want to make sure that old events are not shown.
I am able to display grid of four items but it will just show them based on latest publish time (which is fine for posts but not fine for events). Is it possible in Newspaper to filter the grid based on a field from post metadata? It would be a basic filter like: IF date >= now THEN include in display
If thats not possible using such condition can I use at all my custom metadata fields for a given custom post type in sorting/filtering in Newspaper grids? Just trying to find a creative way how to just show the events grid without including past ones. Maybe you have some idea based on your experience with CPT/ACF and Newspaper?
