1. The amp template was created on the default WordPress structure. If you have altered folders in your install, this can be a consequence of that. Can you provide more examples or more detailed explanations on how you have the folders set up so we can get an idea? If you do not want to share this info publicly here, you can contact us via contact@tagdiv.com
Please note your home url will have to be == to the site URL. The tagdiv composer requires this for proper functionality.
2. Yes there are different thumbnails between amp and the regular page. This is not a bug. For the moment there are no settings to change the thumb used
3. The about us section comes from the footer options of the theme panel under Footer Info content

First of all, great work on having your own working and optimised AMP plugin 🙂 I’ve switched from using the Automattic AMP plugin to this one on my site.
Some feedback from myself – I know it’s still an initial version so I understand more updates will be coming, but here they are:
- On the /amp page, the search icon/button on the top right links to the WordPress Address URL, and not the Site Address URL (i.e I have my WordPress files in a folder structure, so the search icon goes to 404).
- The Related Articles on the /amp page are using 300×194. Hoping there are more options on the administration panel to either disable thumbnails, or use other dimensions? For example if I visit my site on a mobile (regular page, and not the /amp page), the Related Articles are using a different thumbnail dimension/block
- There is an empty “About Us” section on the Footer of the /amp page. This is probably my fault for not knowing where should I enter the information in 🙂
For those who want to “hack” or edit the plugin files and know a bit of PHP:
- Change search URL: under td-amp/templates/header-bar.php, change “site_url” to “home_url” on line 22
- Disable About Us on Footer: under td-amp/templates/footer.php, comment out line 46 (add a ‘//’ in front of the About Us print-out line)

I’m using Block 21 on my home page, but I also use it throughout the site. I can’t figure out how to change the color combo of the text and header block. On this page, it’s white letters on blue (which I like) https://www.kvnutalk.com/for-the-people/

1. The post content width cannot be changed with a theme setting. However, in an upcoming major theme update there will be a considerable amount of flexibility added to how the post pages and templates are created, among many other new options. You will have many new options to create post pages, I cannot say more about it unfortunately.
2. There are a number of demos in work I believe, we try to create and add as many as possible. That demo you mention is somewhat similar to this one

The transparent menu can only be used on pages where the overlay page template is selected. On other pages there will be a standard menu. It will not go over the other content if the specific page template is not selected for other pages as well.

this is a very specific issue and likely more wordpress related than not but here goes.
for our site we are creating an alphabetical index.
To achieve this we enter a (mostly) lastname in the custom field keyword, of which the first letter is stored in an additional field called alphabetical_letter.
We have created a script that does this for any article we update manually. However since we have a large database we have no desire to do this for each single post… is there a way to achieve this for the whole database and make this script below run once for all posts ?

I have been informed that I should “hijack” the page template mechanism that displays multiple posts, but since the theme is rather complex I’d like some help to know where exactly I should be looking.
we have been trying and experimenting but havent had a lot of succes thusfar so any help is greatly appreciated.

The related articles should have to be disabled from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Dgslu5DcPhf and if you want to change the structure of your post page you should edit the theme core files (single, loop template). If you are not aware of the steps please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide support for additional customizations.

yesterday all was good when looking at my articles, but today i see that the sidebar has changed position. It was on the right side of the post, but now is on the left and falls over the content.

My global settings are:
Default post template: style 2
Blog and post template: sidebar right (3rd option)
I dont understand why the sidebar is showing on the wrong side of the page, on each post.
As all my settings seem correct, how can i fix this?

You can do it. Follow these instructions:
- Go to the wp-admin of your WordPress Site
- Click Newsmag and go to the Theme Panel > Footer
- In Footer, you can choose FOOTER TEMPLATES style what You Want.
That’s All.
Conclusion: You can modify the footer from the footer section of the theme panel. But sometimes if you choose the right “style”, then you can add and change widgets that exist in the footer via the Widgets page.
I’ve also experienced the same problem, but the problem only occurs in the article pages.
Make sure you have installed all the plugins needed by NewsMag.
If you ever change the theme from NewsPaper to Newsmag, then in the page editor of your article, go to the bottom, in the Post Settings > General > Post Template, you choose the right “style”.
After that try to update. I hope it works.

I had troubles through the instalation of template. Finally, I installed it via file manager of my cpanel. I tried to press the “Live Preview” button but it doesn’t work! Please let me know how to fix it.
Ehm, No…it’s a theme’s function not an external plugin. I even copied here the code in the template’s core file (https://www.screencast.com/t/3qKH5ORt74)

So the problem isn’t mine, but the code is wrong. Here’s an explaination of what ratingValue is “The rating the reviewer gave” (source: https://yoast.com/rich-snippets-product-listings/). Well, right now the ratingValue doesn’t rappresent my vote, but the number of stars that i’m not even using (I’m using Point vote, not Stars).

My previous template used Featured Images on the homepage only and not within the post itself. To add an image to a post I used the Add Media function within the post. I have hundreds of posts set up this way. Now using Newspaper I’m seeing duplicates of the images. Is there a way to designate my Featured Images as only being used for the homepage.
