Hi weedinsider.ca,
This https://weedinsider.ca/reviews/ is a page not a category, but you can edit it using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/6zy8zjM.png click on the flex block and you can check the number of posts from here https://i.imgur.com/JdImJXq.png also you can add pagination from here -> https://i.imgur.com/WMxVE7s.png or if you want numbered pagination, then use the posts loop element https://i.imgur.com/h2yO3rm.png
I hope this will help you better!

Hello,

For the problem with the author links, maybe the author archives are disabled in the Yoast plugin, if they are author links will be redirected to the homepage. Check if that is the case: http://prntscr.com/mbwwuk after that clear all cache, purge CDN(if you are using) and check the results.
Also, for posts loop please check the settings if you have set up a limit or an offset and let it empty with no space, no value => https://www.screencast.com/t/u9wQNZMAtph

Hello,

If you make a change in the theme files of the posts loop, this change will appear in all templates where you use posts loop, you can find the file in this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/common/tdb_loop.php ->

Hello,

Unfortunately, you can’t customize the Posts Loop (“Latest articles and sidebar”) with tagDiv Composer.
To make changes for this block please check his section => https://www.screencast.com/t/O97DU6gSSa -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
or you can import another template for the homepage => https://www.screencast.com/t/3YBXDcaSdgP

I installed a Pre-designed Template from the tagDiv Cloud Library. I’m not sure which one I installed. I renamed it.

I have the following page on my site: https://www.wheredoitakethekids.com/categories/places/. I would like to display a custom field next to each “summary post.” Basically I want to display an address under each title.

I was assuming I needed to modify a “specific” page like td_block_big_grid_flex_3.php. When I click on the element to edit it, all I see is (row -> column -> Posts Loop).

Where can I find the code for the following: row -> column -> Posts Loop?

Hello,

I hope I understood correctly, and for what you want you can use the Posts Loop 2, where you sort and set the pagination on infinite load => https://i.imgur.com/JZGpdNa.jpg

Hello!

Please provide your website link to understand what you want and which block you used.
https://sureyarnstest.xyz/category/entertainment/celebrity/ -> this is “Posts Loop” element, you can find it in the TagDiv Comnposer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/, if you want only one block, then set the posts limit: 1.
In order to edit a page/post with TagDiv Composer you need to use a PRO/cloud template and not a default one.

Thank you!

Hello,

The filter “Single – Related from tags ” applies to a single post template.
To display posts that contain those tags, you must use Post Loop => https://www.screencast.com/t/OnB1ivumQAi
The Posts Loop automatically filters the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example, if you set it on tag template there will be posted posts that contain tags).

Thank you!

Hello,

I want to show the custom fields for posts to appear under post title in the category or archive page view. How can i achieve this?

**
1. How can i get the category ID on the archive/category page template, so that i can list the posts and custom fields on the front end through a php code. None of the avaialble codes on wordpress codex worked for me?

2. Or else what code to get the ACF custom fields by hardcoding the tdb_module_loop.php

None of the avaialble codes on wordpress codex worked for me? I am able to retrieve the custom fields on single post template but not on archive pages?

link to my single post page

https://quizboard.app/post/genetic-identity-of-a-human-male-is-determined-by/

link to my category archive page

https://quizboard.app/topic/biology/reproduction-system/

I want to display 4 options under the title.

Hello!

I do not know exactly which element it is, but if you edit the page with TagDiv Composer, then in the left side you will see the name of the element.
I think it is about a posts loops element.
The Posts Loops settings are divided into 4 tabs: General, Layout, Style, and CSS. The Posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options.
Also, one of the options for pagination of the Posts Loop has the option for normal numbered and the flex blocks do not have this option.
The Posts Loop is automatically filtering the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example on the category page there will be posted posts from that category).

Thank you!

Hello!

Please open tagDiv Composer on your results page here: https://www.screencast.com/t/DpZnzwva2j click on the post loop element and in the General tab make sure that your offset posts are set to 0 or the box is empty.

Let me know the result!
Thank you!

Hi there!

I seem to be suffering from the same bug as mentioned here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/post-loop-bug-report/
But I can’t find any answer to it.

The issue can be seen here at the moment: https://nordsip.com/category/in-focus/

Because of the way the Garden PRO Category Template is built, there are several lines of post loop, each with an offset of 2 more than the previous line. However, the issue here is that the category is not respected (i.e. after the first 2 posts, the following lines are from the general loop and not the specific category loop anymore).

I can probably find a temporary workaround by using a post grid instead but it will force me to build a separate category template for each category… Can you help please?

Hello!

Edit that page with TagDiv Composer, click on the element called “Posts loop” and you can change the button text like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/9IAJxF6HaB

Hello!

You can use “Flex Block 4” instead of “Posts Loop” with an offset: 2 and you can achieve what you want in this mood.
Please note that this element has no numbered pagination like on posts loop.

Thank you!

I would like to do the “posts loop” layout like https://www.instagram.com/vietcetera/ . Is there anyway that I can achieve this (title in image) or this is not possible with newspaper theme at the moment?

Bettina

Hello!

Unfortunately, there is no option for posts loop to achieve this.

Hello,

I’m trying to create the “posts loop” with the layout from Big Grid Flex 1, with the title in the image, but I could not figure out to do that. The title texts are only show beside the images instead on in the images. There is no option to have them display on the images with the “posts loop”

Here is the image link: https://gyazo.com/a7c2a26cdf5b1cb52f51f64ac7624b1b
The top 2 rows are created using Big Grid Flex 1, while the bottom are the “posts loop”.

I would like to submit a bug report regarding the post loop inside of the tag div composer.

I have a page with a category’s posts and a dozen of ads. In order to better arrange everything, I attempted to split the content into three logical sections, and insert ads in between those. In the previous format I had a Category Grid 2 on top (entire row), then a full row banner, and then a 2/3 post loop on the left, and a 1/3 ads column on the right.

In the new format I had a 2/3 Category Grid 2 on the top, and a 1/3 column on the right, with one ad box on the top of the column, and a post loop with an offset of 5 posts, and a limit of 2 posts just below that. The remainder of the page remained as before, with the only difference being that the post loop under the full row banner, I set the offset to 7 this time, to compensate for the introduction of the previous post loop.

No matter what settings I configured the second post loop after that, the post limit would not change; it was being affected by the upper post loop, and was limiting the posts to 2 per page for the lower post loop as well. Obviously affected by the upper post loop, and I tried everything in my powers, including deleting the lower post loop, and saving, and reloading, and re-inserting a new post loop and configuring it anew, clearing the cache memory, clearing the cloudflare cache memory, firing up a private browser to test without browser memory, and what not. I even tried using a post loop 2 in place of the post loop, for both the upper and the lower positions alternatively, so as to make sure no rules of the type A affected the instance of the type B. Everything was useless. Every time the lower post loop would be affected by the upper post loop’s settings.

As soon as I deleted the upper post loop and introduced a couple of ads in its place, the problem with the lower post loop went away.

I thought somebody else could benefit from my experience, and perhaps bringing it to your attention you could come up with a fix in the meantime, hence my posting this here publicly. I don’t really need any further assistance with this in my case for the time being, as I have come up with a workaround that allows me to move on.

Thank you.

There is no filter option in Posts Loop. Is it possible to provide a CSS Code to filter Posts on a Category ID in “Posts Loop”.

Hello!

I do not understand your question. Please try to provide me more information about what content are you speaking about.
In your screenshot, there are 2 Posts Loop elements which are different. You can add them which one you like, click on the element after adding and there you will see some settings for the current element. For more information about TagDiv Composer, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
