We are searching for a solution to this problem, preferably we would like to switch the smartlist to normal pagination.

Hi,

The smartlists content isn’t supposed to show the ads as its handled different as in case the post’s content isn’t using smartlists so that’s why it has this behavior.
You can use ad spot’s shortcodes to place ads inside smart lists content if you like or another solution is to display a custom ad like this – http://screencast.com/t/ekXH40AYW it will be repeated on your smartlist for example if you use smartlist that slides – http://screencast.com/t/PCTTXIXD – http://screencast.com/t/Ngf0q5Xv
We also have this on our requests lists and we will consider trying another approach on this in future updates to have more control to the smartlist.

Hi,

Unfortunately the new version of Newspaper doesn’t support rtl, you will need custom modifications to adjust it for rtl. Also the old custom modifications will not work with version 6 as this is practically a new theme, so you will have to use Newspaper 4. We had to make this decision as we changed the theme’s grid and designing the theme to be able to also support rtl would cost us many resources. Sorry!

@alaisne Newspaper 5 doesn’t support rtl, you will need custom modifications to adjust it for rtl.

Please disable all plugins leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN, also please disable all css/js minification and check again if you still have this issue. You have some errors in the console and also ajax pagination(that’s why you have issues with smartlist) doesn’t work – http://screencast.com/t/4vTI8nJte51

You can change to a template without articles like Homepage Blank and add blocks via Visual Composer – http://screencast.com/t/rrHDX6TuIT so it will be displayed only blocks that you add to your page.

Please also consider that unfortunately the version 5 of the theme will not include rtl support. You can still use the theme as it is but unfortunately you cannot updated it as you will lose the rtl support or you can update it and make yourself the necessary adjustments needed. If you can’t use the theme we can offer a full refund, just send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will explain the procedure.
