Hi,
Here is an example from our end with seo yoast and og image active: http://screencast.com/t/pOsBR2Iyz4f
so I think it;s safe to say there is some external influence over the facebook sharing. We have not been able to figure our out what affects it unfortunately. Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate
Thank you!
Hi,
You can disable the bottom article Like/Tweet in Theme panel->Post settings->Sharing – http://screencast.com/t/1ujRfHL5L
Thanks
Hello ,
Above the footer of my website : animal-welfare.org, there is the ‘Big Grid 5’ element.
I want to expand the ‘HOT NEWS’ block , to eliminate the blank space below that block, so that
‘HOT NEWS’ and ‘LATEST ARTICLES’ blocks have similar bottoms.
I tried to use visual composer, but i saw that edting blocks of big grids is not an option.
Is it possible to expand ‘HOT NEWS’ block?
Best regards

Hello I need help with the coding for the Menu bar. I need it to be moved to the left instead of being centered. I need the menu headers to be in alignment with the circles. Thank you
I have been banging my head against the wall trying to solve this issue, but can’t find a way so I am hoping that someone may be able to help.
There is a major problem with the way the theme displays in Facebook mobile browser, which effects any visitors from Facebook post/shares on a mobile device as they load in their own browser by default (and apparently you can’t do anything about that).
The logo, header and menu are not loading properly at all. e.g. if you have a white background header on desktop and your logo/text is black and you want to reverse this on mobile (black background and white logo/text) for some reason it picks up the logo (white) but then seems to load the background as if the browser was desktop (white) making it completely invisible. Plus it seems to be loading the responsive theme rather than the mobile theme (but even that theme doesn’t work right).
I figure it is something to do with the way the theme detects the browser so not a massive deal.
I know this has been bought up several times in the past (even months ago) on this forum and the response has always been that the theme hasn’t been tested with the Facebook mobile browser, but it seems illogical to me that, because of the way the web has moved so much towards mobile and the fact that a huge amount of traffic to most websites is from social sharing that this is not a massive priority.
I mean it should be a deal breaker for almost anyone considering installing this theme if they care at all about how their visitors view their site, so could hit the company’s bottom line in a big way if it isn’t addressed asap.
Does anyone know of a workaround?
Hi Bogdan
have you try with mobile theme sharing from smartphone?
I tried to do everything that you said, but not resolved:
in my site the problem is still there.
All Open Graph meta data are enabled as always http://screencast.com/t/P5vdTumeJ
With 7.5 everything was fine, with 7.6 with mobile theme is the problem, not from desktop.
It seems to work, but if you check on your facebook profile where you shared the link, appears only the url of the site without photos… and not url of articles that you shared, simple url of site..
Thanks!

Well you cannot get them exactly the same. I provided a code to get them to be the same style: http://screencast.com/t/7g9b4FCH1rn
if you want them to have the same size, you will first need to translate the share on facebook and tweet on twitter with simply facebook and twitter as the below buttons: http://screencast.com/t/wrvJ5Sg0T
then replace the previous code with this one:
.td-post-sharing-top {
border: 1px solid #ededed;
padding: 10px 26px;
margin-bottom: 40px;
}
.td-post-sharing-top .td-social-sharing-buttons{
height: 32px!important;
padding: 6px 7px 8px 7px!important;
min-width: 32px!important;
}
.td-post-sharing-top .td-social-google, .td-post-sharing-top .td-social-pinterest{
width:32px!important;
}
.td-post-sharing-top .td-social-google .td-icon-googleplus{
left:-2px!important;
}
.td-post-sharing-top .td-social-pinterest .td-icon-pinterest{
left:0!important
}
Thanks
How can I get social sharing floating button like this Site
Thanks
Hello,
For the moment we do not have such a plan. It will be easier to simply use a plugin for facebook sharing and remove the theme login modal. There is no simple way of implementing facebook into our login widget.
Thank you!
Hello,
The code you mention is not added in the theme panel. That is a screenshot from our linkedin tutorial. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/add-linkedin-sharing-button-2/
You will need to edit the theme files, there is no apnel to edit the core files of the theme. you will need to use ftp to edit the files.
Thank you!
Hi,
For facebook sharing please use seo yoast as this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/
Thank you!
Hello JANG JOO YOUNG,
Please notice that the right screen which might appear you when you share a post on Facebook, it should look like this -> http://screencast.com/t/vk4A68TdseL3 Please keep in mind that the theme does do not handle this, but only the Seo Yoast plugin which is tested with the theme and seems to work as properly. Also, you should check this online tool for sharing, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
You will have to use seo Yoast for Facebook sharing like this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/
Thank you!
When I post a post and share it on Facebook, the whole text appears. I just want the title and link to be published.
Example of my page: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1906152372950551&id=1898319363733852
Thanks
On mobile everything looks great. Here is the link to the debug.log file.
Hi,
i have a strange problem.
sharing articles on facebook with buttons within articles not working with mobile theme
once you press the facebook button in the article, it is only shared the site link…
not the photo and description as it has done…
Thanks
You can do so using iframes. You would need to wrap a div or target iframe with the external URL being that iframe content target. Basic HTML, nothing to do with the theme.
Some sharing sites do this, like Stumbleupon.
Of course, some of us more savvy folk in the news business use top target sniffers to reload our pages without another site’s content bar on top, to ensure no confusion on where the person actually is for security purposes.
🙂
Hi,
Solution provided by my colleague Bogdan in the other topic works properly – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/add-linkedin-sharing-button/#post-142490
I tested it again – http://screencast.com/t/ey7OvIG0lBa Also on post template used by Catalin above, here is a screnshot – http://screencast.com/t/yFA718Mh
Thanks!
Hello jncroyle,
There is an option for it in Theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Ufi6wVi6k For more information about our sharing system, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/sharing/
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Unfortunately our theme does not have any such option. It can only be made through customizing the css.
Here is an example of how you can get them centered as you suggest:
.td-social-google, .td-social-pinterest{
display:none!important;
}
.td-classic-sharing{
display:block!important;
margin-top:10px;
text-align:center;
}
.td-post-sharing-top{
text-align:center;
}
Thanks.
Hi, Team
How to change media sosial sharing button to this
if not possible, hoa to add text on the top of the button
Thank you
Thanks Catalln. One more question, how would I turn the sharing themes off in Newspaper7 so I can use the sharing buttons in WordPress or another plugin? This is pretty complicated for me as I am not a programmer.
Hello,
There are 2 ways you can remove these items. The first would be the css method by hiding them like so:
.td-social-google, .td-social-pinterest{
display:none!important;
}
The second method is removing them from the theme code by deleting these lines of code: http://screencast.com/t/GfKxrfhSgT21 (that is the top sharing buttons I exemplified. The bottom sharing buttons are further down that same file. If you want them removed from the bottom sharing remove them from the bottom code as well.)
Thank you!
