Since yesterday, I am not able to set featured image for my website. I checked with the hosting provider support team. They told me, it is the issue with the td-composer.

They are confirming it is related to the tagdiv composer. Because of this, I am not able to continue any of the articles.

If I set featured image as shown in the arrow, post update failed.

The home page for our site, 34northdrones.com uses a series of background images with text overlay and when sharing a link via mobile text, the only image that appears is the single image that is at the bottom of the page (see screenshot https://snipboard.io/oahks1.jpg)). I’ve tried using an Open Graph Object in the header for the home page, so I can control the image that appears when texting a link to our site using sms but it still shows that image at the bottom of the page Is there any way to fix this without having to change the design of the home page?

Hopeing for some clarification on some theme behavior.

Firstly I will outline my workflow.

I have the latest verion of Newspaper installed (9.8) and I am using the WordPress Video Robot Plugin.

In my Theme Panel I have the following selected.

Default Post Template (Sitewide) – Style 9. I also have this selected in the WPVR theme fix. Please see images below.

When I pull in a source from WPVR I have the option to specify the ‘Import Full Video Description’. Please see image below.

When I import a video the post looks like this. Please see image.

So I then go into ‘Edit Video’ and under post settings > general select ‘From Panel’ to have the post show like this. Please see image below.

So in order to get the post to show how I want it too with video embedded and full text description I have to edit it at the post level. But it appears I have already selected how I was the post to look. Style 9?

Going back to the Theme Panel I can see this note.

DEFAULT SITE POST TEMPLATE
Setting this option will make all post pages, that don’t have a post template set, to be displayed using this template. You can overwrite this setting on a per post basis.

So is there a spcific post template I need to change as well?

Is this normal behavior from the theme? I would like not to have to go into each post and edit it like this. Is this possible?

Lastly when I do get the video description into the post it appears all of the links have been stripped? Is there anyway to fix this too?

I’m very new to this theme and exploring it’s logics.

To start with, I wanted to keep things very simple having same sidebar on all the site.

I used a flex5 element to build a news feed without pictures. (a bit like Romania ‘Music’ block on homepage)

Got it working nicely on the home page and when I looked into ways of sharing sidebar across all website seemed the only way was using widgets (am I missing something?)

Ok… so I tried to do this using the {tagDiv} Block 17 but failed on hiding the picture (+ other things…)

Then I thought I was probably much better off just copy past of the shortcode… easy cool !!!

Works like a charm… all most… just a little css to “polyfill”

So I wanted to ark if that type of hack was considered acceptable (stealing shortcodes generated by the builder and pasting it into the html widget) and if so how should I manage the css story? (aka: is there a proper way of doing this?)

There is Social Media Sharing button in every post of article, but i want to fix in footer those social icon in Mobile case is that possible?

1. In the TagBuilder, under all the Social media list, there is a # symbol, what I have done is put my FB and Twitter links so that clients can send our FB and Twitter webpages to their FB and TWitter. Is that correct?

2. How do I have Posts I make on categories or pages, simulateansly appear on our FB and Twitter accounts?

3. How do I make it that our Webpages and Articles get directed by the other peoples FB and Twitter, so that our webstite with the newspaper theme is shared, rather than our FB and Twitter pages?
