Hi, i have a problem with smart sidebar in chrome (and in new opera – as same engine). In other browsers all OK.
It is big lag and jump if I use site background attachement “fixed”. Example: http://root-nation.com/27/07/2015/lenovo-a5000/

If we use single template 2 the article sidebar gets under the post, and not on the right.

This is on a not altered version of the theme.

It’s even worse if we enable smart sidebar

Any ideas?

In your demo in a single post page the bottom sections (author box section + realted article section + comment section) are as wide as the post text above them (2/3 column) and the smart sidebar on the right goes down until the end of the page (1/3 column)

In my single post page, instead, the author box section + realted article section + comment section
are always full width,

But I want the bottom sections are 2/3 wide not full width!
How can I get it?

My issue is with bug when I’m using the theme with boxed background.

The Smart Sidebar does not work correctly with Google Chrome!

See the sidebar flashes and sometimes some roll when the page. sometimes only appears to go back to page up.

When I put remove background that theme is in full, the error does not appear.

What to do?

How can enable the Sticky Sidebar for in tablets and iPads? I’m sure there is a way to do that with installing third party plugin..
I do have the Smart Sidebar turned on, and working well on Desktops..

I didn’t see a suggestion box thread so I thought I’d add one. Here it goes…

1. Add H1 header tag to home page.

Yes, we can add a text block that contains H1. However, many users will not know how to do this. Thus, many users will never have H1 on their homepage which negatively impacts SEO. Another theme I use detects if the current page is the home page, and if so, it applies H1 to the logo and hidden text containing the site title and tagline.

2. Add an option to the blocks that allows users to select a header tag for the block title.

This will allow users to get H2 tags on the home page and archive pages. For the predefined templates, H2 should be selected on the home page and archive page blocks.

3. Include Alt tags in the images contained in blocks.

Every piece of media I have has an alt tag define for it. I would like these alt tags used. In cases where the alt tag is not defined, perhaps there can be an option to use the article title or the media filename as the alt tag.

4. Make it so that interacting with smart lists generates a distinct view in google analytics. I don’t know if this is hard or possible but it would provide users with a great benefit in terms of page views and add impressions.

5. Make it an option that when a site visitor clicks “next” on the last smart list item, they are sent to a new URL we specify. This is a sneaky way to get views on additional articles.

6. Ability to select background images and a URL and target for these images for a category, page, or post.

7. Allow admins to use HTML in their author page bio.

8. Ability to easily embed Facebook comments in addition to regular comments. Perhaps FB comments and regular comments can be placed in adjacent columns, full width without a sidebar next to them? That would be AWESOME. Throw in Google plus comments while you are at it. I’d pay extra for all of this. 🙂

I’ve tried a dozen themes. I’ve thoroughly reviewed all of the top selling theme demos on Theme Forest. Newspaper is in the top 3 themes I’ve ever used. I hope the SEO issues (1-3 above) can be resolved soon. Of note, a lot of the top selling Theme Forest themes have the same header tag issues.

I have three questions. Maybe somebody can help me.

1.) Head ad: I am using the amazon banner and disabled the mobile view. Unfortunately the ad is still displayed on mobile devices (smartphones).

2.) Unique articles: I am using the theme on my review site. I want to have unique articles accept for the top 3, 5, 10 area in a widget or sidebar. Because sometimes the best rated product is also the newest and I want it to appear also in the top list. Is it possible to activate unique articles on a page and only disable it for one specific widget or sidebar on the same page?

3.) I am using the call 2 action modul of visual composer. I can add links here and set them to target=”_blank” but there is no nofollow checkbox. Where can I set all external links in the VC Modul to nofollow?

Hello,

I have activated smart sidebar and it works correctly on single ‘Post’ post type, however, it doesn’t work on any other custom post type single pages. The single template is the same for all types. I can see tds_smart_sidebar="enabled" in the source code. I can see td-ss-main-sidebar class getting the following styles on page load – style="width: auto; position: static; top: auto; bottom: auto;"

Is there a reason why it only works for post. I tried looking through the code but couldn’t find any conditionals related to this

I want to customise the sidebar of each post ( not the smart sidebar ) but could not find ways to word it out.

Editing blocks of pages using Visual Composer is ok. but how can I edit side bar block on single POST?
