After the recent update to Newspaper i’ve discovered that smartlists no longer work.

For instance if i choose Smartlist 4 only the images appear on the left and the sidebar either loads below the post or on the left hand side (overlapping the content area on left)

If i remove the images, then the same smartlist appears properly. Case in point https://www.techvise.pk/best-parcel-forwarding-services/

The article is very long so it is set as Smartlist 3.

Please check the problem, this is quite alarming for us and we need a fix asap

The whole page on desktop look warped. The side bar is showing at the bottom and the related posts have exploded. Some CSS problem, how can we solve this?

it is a lot of time that i’m in the search of a plugin or something that will create in the sidebar some kind of Top 10 items…

Something like “top 10 smartphone under 300 Euro” with below the ranking that makes you able to click on each item and redirect to the blog post or amazon page.

Do you know if it exists? Compatible with the theme obviously..

I recently changed my old website’s theme to Newspaper 9. Now I have a problem with Smart Sidebar: it does not work, because my (old) pages are not created with TD Composer.

Question: is there ANY way to make Smart Sidebar work? I have hundreds of pages, so editing them one by one with TD Composer is not an option. Is there a way to fix this by customizing the code?

P.s. I already searched the forum but did not find a clear answer. Thanks for your reply!

Hello team im a new customer, purchased your theme and i have some issues.
I wrote also on comments but i didnt took a clear answer so i respond here.
Well my point is to create a homepage with full width and left sticky sidebar.Also in middle i want to bring other posts and right a sidebar i dont care to be sticky though.Thats what my layout i want it to be but the point is i cant create left sticky sidebar in full width with visual composer and if i try to switch to tagdiv composer it says that the page was not created by td composer and it loads infinetely.

So how can i achieve that?I saw that in options i can create smart sidebar on left for categories only but how i can do this for homepage also?

2)is it possible somehow to have hamburger menu on homepage?

Im trying to enable the sticky sidebar, with no luck.
Smartsidebar is enabled in Theme Options and I’ve already set my column to ‘sticky’ checkbox.
I also tried adding td-ss-row class, with no luck.

Any ideas?
Im trying this on a page, that is separated using 4/6 + 2/6 row format.

1- I can’t figure out how to add a block 3colons*3lines for my best articles after an article “smartlist6”.

2- Does Next/Back button appear the same in mobile devices?
I noticed the amp version of my article doesn’t work: ie it doesn’t show the back/next button

Should I de-activate the Amp Newspaper plugin to make it work on mobiles?
What is the cost of de-activating the Amp plugin? (speed? seo? )
