I activated SSL for my website but still it is showing as not secure in url
When I try to find out the issue I found there are few URLs pointing to http.
May I know where and how I can change following URLS

Hi,

Is look that the css is not applied because is not set write, the works are connected between theme and this is not good, this should look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/e4qtYEb.png so in order to work properly, you need to set the css code and js code in theme panel> custom code> this code will be set in css

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also sometimes you need to use a ssl plugin to set the https.

I have a similar problem. some time ago i added 6 videos to my video playlist. it worked flawlessly. now i can no longer add videos. it doesn’t work. I have put a new video playlist below on my page. there i inserted a video code. it does not indicate it. see page: laneverland.com
I removed and reinstalled tagdiv composer. it is of no use.

My SSL is not fully working because of some mixed content which I believe is from the theme background image or theme option images. I do not know what background-2-scaled.jpg is I never added an image that was named that.

Cloud templates “You need a higher level of permission.” - topic

Hi,
When I attempt to click Cloud templates in my wordpress admin sidebar I get “You need a higher level of permission. You are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.” (also from Newspaper Themepanel when I click Cloud Library)
I got this after changing the site to SSL, but changing back doesnt seem to help. I have tried to change the files and folder permissions to 755/644.
I am lost! Anyone knows how to fix this?

Hi TagDiv,

I’ve got a test site in development here: httpswwwfarmaterverantwoording.site and am getting mixed content warnings. It seems to all an issue with media files, which are loading over http. I’ve had an SSL certificate since before I installed WordPress (let alone Newspaper), so not sure why this is happening in first place. To fix it, I’ve tried deleting and re-uploading images, tried Better Search and Replace, and installing both Really Simple SSL and Insecure Content Fixer with no luck. Not sure what else to try! Any ideas?

Ad panel stripping out shortcode - topic

I’m running Newspaper 9.7.2 and use the theme panel’s Ads > Header ad panel to call a shortcode for displaying ads in the site’s header. Recently, the shortcode is getting stripped out on some pages, but not on others. Of course, the result is that any time the shortcode is stripped out, we don’t display an ad.

What would account for this? What’s the fix?

Cloud library should work flawlessly even if you deactivate the plugins / theme your settings will still remain since they are stored in the database not in the theme folders.

We recommend using Cloud Library because that will be the future for this theme.

Hello, i installed ssl on my website https://www.dailypress.gr

The problem is that the footer keeps loading an image from http.

Translation problem with Polylang - reply

Hello,

I insistently asked you which files I should browse for this issue.You never answered this question. I found out which theme file was the problem and corrected it. The problem stems from a problematic “if” control. Currently breadcrumb works seamlessly with the polylang plugin in all languages.

Error on Header Logo – The problem has to be solved!! - reply

There are a number of users posting about the same problem.

I removed all of my plugins, cleared the cache and now removed the logo on the mobile version and that was the only thing that solved the problem.

Now the error comes up on the desktop version.

And then the site crashes due to these errors on occasion and the hosting provider blames the creators of the template.

See for yourself.

I believe you can investigate this much more as I am not the only one complaining about this.

This is your idea of support for a paid product? No ticket system, but a public forum? Are you kidding me? We came here for tech support, but perhaps we should simply request a refund instead.

New install, theme installed, demo content installed. Try to change header style, spins endlessly. Server is running php 7.3, 512MB for wordpress. Not a great first impression.
