I figured out how to upgrade, though the documentation for this process and TagDiv information is REALLY bad on this topic. Not impressed at all.
I have a new failure in the “Update the Plugins” step and will look for solutions for that.
Come on folks, how hard it is to create an intuitive (and correct) upgrade guide. Please reach out if you want some volunteer support. I hate to see others flail around aimlessly for such a simple task.
Hi,
lease use these guides to make the implementation properly:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-ssl-and-https-in-wordpress/
https://css-tricks.com/moving-to-https-on-wordpress/
https://yoast.com/dev-blog/move-website-https-ssl/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/moving-to-ssl/
Thank you!
Hi,
In order to do that you need to use custom css
here you can see an example -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sSLrCVNOhS
.single .category-street-fashion .td-post-content a {
color: red;
}
Hope this will help you!
Thanks.
Hi there,
I have the same cURL SSL related error that I’ve seen some other people have. The answer from support is to get my hosting provider to fix it. I have tried this and received this response:
“Hi,
Thank you for contacting Cloudways support, ‘Download failed. cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate’ Error appear once CURL is failing to get Digital sign certificate for installation so, in order to fix it from server level, I have include latest Digital Certificates ( https://curl.haxx.se/ca/cacert.pem) but the issue still persist. It would be nice if you could contact the theme developer and ask them to provide more details about the error so we can make adjustments at the server level.
In case you have any other queries and require further assistance then feel free to contact us.

Can you please let me know what they need to do?
Hi,
IN order to do that you can check some documentation for:
Fixing WordPress HTTPS Mixed Content Warnings [7-Step Process] -> https://wpbuffs.com/wordpress-https-mixed-content/
Replacing Image Links in WordPress After Installing an SSL Certificate -> https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/replacing-image-links/
WordPress SSL Settings and How to Resolve Mixed Content Warnings -> https://managewp.com/blog/wordpress-ssl-settings-and-how-to-resolve-mixed-content-warnings
Also you can use some plugins too:
HTTP / HTTPS Remover: SSL Mixed Content Fix -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/http-https-remover/
SSL Insecure Content Fixer -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/
Hope this will help you to solve your problem.
Thanks.
Hi,
I’m having trouble getting rid of all the images still referenced as http instead of https which causes the ‘mixed content’ warning.
The site is https://ihavewifi.com
after running a test here https://www.whynopadlock.com/
it seems like a specific image is the culprit –
http://ihavewifi.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/14.jpg
But there could be more and I’d like to get rid of all of the so the site will show the padlock as a secure site.
How do I get rid of all legacy http urls to solve this??
Thanks!
Itav
Hi – Unfortunately the divtag composer plugin is not downloading properly when I go to activate it. This is the message that displays:
The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading installation package from https://www.seniordatingadvice.co.uk/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/plugins/td-composer.zip…
Download failed. cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate
It says the plugin does not have a valid header, so I cannot install any demo and the site looks awful. What should I do?
(It actually says the following: The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading installation package from https://mybiglowcarblife.gr/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/plugins/td-composer.zip?uid=5c324032ba3c7…
Download failed. cURL error 51: SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name ‘mybiglowcarblife.gr’)
I know very little about using anything there, so please be super analytical.
Thank you in advance!
Those thumbnails are detected as mixed content so they are not loaded
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VmCHeKukw7v0
All the thumbnails the theme creates or the website uses are in the WordPress uploads folder. Maybe the SSL implementation was not done properly and some of the images are still loading as http instead of https.
Here are some guides I found that you can follow
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-ssl-and-https-in-wordpress/
– https://css-tricks.com/moving-to-https-on-wordpress/
– https://yoast.com/dev-blog/move-website-https-ssl/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/moving-to-ssl/
Hi,
This is the normal way for displaying the icons on website, please check if you still have those files in wp-content\themes\Newspaper\images\icons https://www.screencast.com/t/emjOfS2MqZ
Also please read this topics:
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/ssl-mixed-content-issue/
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mixed-content-ssl-issue/
Thank you for your understanding.
I used this and it appears to have been fixed: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/
However, is there a way to do this without installing another plugin? I am worried about site speed.
Thanks
The admin ajax has to be available to the theme at all times, or there will be problems. If it is blocked by security modules or by the server there would be nothing we can do about it.
I have checked and that is the case – https://www.screencast.com/t/8fxKXxUDH The server firewall is denying the theme access to the admin ajax.
You could try what is suggested here – https://www.godaddy.com/community/Using-WordPress/Access-Denied-Godaddy-website-firewall/td-p/122009
– https://www.godaddy.com/community/SSL-And-Security/Access-Denied-Godaddy-website-firewall/td-p/107063
In the future please send sensitive information by email as suggested above. The forum is public and all users can see all topics. I will edit the topic and remove them.
I recently corrected my SSL so my site will forward to the HTTPS:// version but now on a mobile device the site renders showing code for the blocks. How can I fix this and its only seems to be on the homepage. If I click on any of my menu items other than the home or homepage on logo. It renders correctly.
Hi,
The mobile theme have a special editor for pages
https://www.screencast.com/t/PsisSlTU
Please read our documentation about the mobile theme
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you for your understanding.
I used to be able to copy the YT URL and paste it into a post. It then automatically embed the video. This is no longer working. It happened sometime within the last week. I can disable all plugins to test but I’d rather not because it’s a bit of a hassle to re-configure a couple of them.
Did something in the theme change?
Thanks for the replies.
I didn’t realise there was another update. That solved the image problem but the menu one is still there.
I tried disabling pretty much all plug-ins. Left some active like Simple SSL but it didn’t seem to make any difference?
After the last update (9.2) my site has been down and/or loading extremely slowly (2 minutes per page). The database is showing constant theme related errors now (see below). The site is using minimal server resources and had been working well/fast for the past several months. No server changes have been made. Any assistance would be appreciated.
The site uses WPML but I have just tested with only a minimal set of plugins and it still runs extremely slowly.
Active Plugins
– Calendarize it! for WordPress
– Really Simple SSL
– tagDiv Composer

As a follow-up, I cloned the site, and it worked as expected.
So, I’m not sure what is causing the issue.
The only difference between the clone and live is the ssl cert and cloudflare.
I disabled cloudflare, and still have the same issue.
Thoughts?
Hey ho again…
Thanks for all of your help.
The solution with the childtheme and the modified header-style.php is working flawlessly. I got the changing header logo for the is_page and the is in_category function (With 4 different logos).
But there is still a little problem with that. The thing is that there are some posts, who are in multiple categories. For example category1 (with headerlogo 1) and category2 (with headerlogo 2).
If I visit for example a page or a category page where the posts are, the logo is doing just fine, but if I click on a post and want to view the single post, the head always shows the headerlogo1 of category1 (I guess it has something to do with the alphabetical order of my categories).
Headerlogo1 in this case isn’t wrong, because the post is in this category as well.
But when I am visiting category2 and click on a post I want to have the head showing headerlogo2 and not headerlogo1.
I hope you’ll get my point.
How can I influence the headerstyle, that wordpress knows from which page I am coming from and displays the correct logo?
Is this possible at all?
Thanks in advance
