Hello,
I am running v6.5 of Newspaper theme.
URL – http://www.naukrinama.com
I recently activated SSL certificate on my domain and now all my URL’s open on HTTPS connection. Now I am facing few issues with my site assets and old Database URL’s :
a. When i search for insecure content on my website home page then all the resources which it shows are of js_composer (Visual Composer). I have checked the visual composer settings and I don’t know what to change to redirect these resources to open from HTTPS.
b. Where are a lot of URL’s in our database both on postmeta, options and posts table which contain insecure URL’s. How can I change all those URL’s to HTTPS.
Please share the solution for the same.
finally!!
I added
define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false);
ref: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14352407/jquery-error-tinymce-is-not-defined-on-wordpress-admin-panel
to wp-config.php , now those buttons on tinyMCE finally show up fine

any idea to fix that “google is not using ssl “ error?
thanks
Howard
more from chrome

we also test this on our dev site, which is non-ssl, does not have this issue
is it related to SSL again?
Hi Newspaper Support,
I really love your theme, but I’m having an issue with sharing post content on LinkedIn.
Basically, when you copy paste a website post link on LinkedIn, it grabs all of the posts information including images and text. When I copy and paste a link from any post on my website that is using the Newspaper theme, for example http://www.homeinspiration.co.nz/kitchen/kitchen-decor/2015/11/19/geometric-backsplash-designs-and-kitchen-decor-possibilities/, it can’t grab information about the post.
I initially thought my issue would be related to a plugin I was using. I tried deactivating plugins but I couldn’t find the culprit. That’s when I thought the theme might be the issue. I tried disabling the Newspaper theme, and activated a default WordPress theme and the post link showed information correctly on LinkedIn.
So I came to the conclusion that something in the Newspaper theme is stopping post information being correctly grabbed by LinkedIn. All other social media sites share the post information with no hassles at all. Would you be able to assist me in finding what is stopping post content correctly showing in LinkedIn when a post link is being shared?
Cheers,
David
I’ve been using wordpress for at least 15 years. I’ve never had to write over the top of a theme file and lose modifications. Child themes exist to avoid losing the mods.
There are more excellent themes then ever that are developed to make the administration easy. Who wants to hassle with redoing the mods. It’s a waste of time.
Hello
We got reports from users that if we login from popup login page, session will not stay if we click “edit post” on site.
We feel it is SSL’s issue
I have emailed you login details for you to check for both SSL and non-SSL
Also however if you login from https://XXX/wp-admin , sessions still stays fine
please kindly help check
thanks
Hi there,
Congratulations for this theme, it’s very practicale to use and to customize, without a hassle. From far the best I ever had to use.
Do you recommend one “facebook comment plugin” that would fit best with Newsmag theme ?
Thanks in advanced.

i got Insecure SSL Issue on my website, how and where i can change social counter and sharing url into https
please see this pic : https://www.airphibi.com/produk/insecure.png
thanks for help
Alright, I’ve been reading a lot of websites regarding this issue. What I don’t understand is how this started to happen… but ok.
What I’ve done is trying that suggestion in the .htaccess but nothing happened.
Then I installed a plugin ‘SSL Insecure Content Fixer’. That managed fixing actually a lot.
What remains are some errors of mixed content aiming at images, for instance:
Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://www.gadgetgoeroe.nl/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘http://www.gadgetgoeroe.nl/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/gadgetgoeroe-logo3.jpg’. This content should also be served over HTTPS.
Would I really need to (re)upload all the pics? Merely adding an ‘s’ after ‘http’ in the theme panel > header didn’t work. And what about all the other pics used in all my posts?
Thanks! Enjoy the weekend.
Hello,
It seems you are getting the mixed content from an image error: http://screencast.com/t/AdhDmRWbQRJy
It can be a number of reasons behind this.
In order to resolve your issue you can follow these topics here on the forum:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mixed-content-ssl/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/images-causing-mixed-content-with-ssl/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/moving-to-ssl/
(there is a lot of info to type here in one reply)
I hope this helps you get through it.
Thank you!

I have problem with Ajax load (subcategories in mega menu not load posts) when using iThemes Security PRO option “Force SSL for Dashboard”
Public part of site is visible ovet http but i want admin dashboard to have acces only over https. Force SSL for dashboard is very important for me.
I know that iSecurity not in list of tested plugins but want to know did any other user have same issue or maybe tagDiv support have some solutions?
Thank you!
but all other post types work flawlessly, why is this the only one with issue?
Hey guys,
Great theme! Just had a couple questions…
1) How would I go about setting up category based images with the category text centered as seen here: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/template-style-6/
When I add a background image in the category based settings, the image seems to be positioned behind the site and the area where the category banner should be remains white (with the text off to the left)..
2) I’d like to convert this site http://muaythaicampsthailand.com over to the newspaper theme. The size of my current featured images is 200×130, but the closest block to that size in newspaper is 218×150.. I would most likely be using block 15 with infinite load..
Is there any way I can override that 218×150 size and set it to 200×130 so I could avoid the hassle of resizing and re-uploading all my current images?
Also, the site is currently using a dark background..
Is that possible to replicate with the newspaper theme?
Thanks in advance
Unless the images are included in the new dbase they won’t be seen in the media manager which is part of wordpress and not the theme.
SO, check your dbase to see if the images are actually in the dbase for the media manager or not; depending on how you “imported” your data they might not actually be there — so it looks like the new version of WP didn’t “upload and register” them.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-from-server/
just as general tip, you can often Google these kinds of things to quickly find answer, as I just did, without waiting for support here, for general WordPress issues — after 10 years, there is a LOT of “help!” info for WP online. For example, I just did search for “force wordpress to refresh media manager” … and found the above info for you 🙂
Hope that helps!
In future you may find the DUPLICATOR plugin is the best way to MOVE a WP site to another server or domain name. I had to do this recently, worked flawlessly 🙂
I just got rid of the ads on website and it works flawlessly. So I guess it was the ads that causes the issues. No matter what I use. I tried almost all networks. Oh well.
Hi,
please take a look at https://com-telematicworld.appspot.com/
I’ve messed sth with SSL certificate for my domain.

Hey guys, thanks a lot for your effort!
Finally the slider is “stretched” to its max. values
I added the following CSS:
.iosSlider-col-2 .entry-thumb {
height:100% !important;
}
.home .td-pb-span6 .td_block_slide .td-module-thumb, .home .td-pb-span6 .td_block_slide .td-module-thumb .entry-thumb {
height: 100%;
width:auto;
}
and if all the previous code does not work then remove all those previous css code and try this it will 200% will work if not then there is some other issue or may be any silly mistakes
.iosSlider-col-2 .td_module_slide {
height: 280px !important;
}
tell me if your problem solved
try this in custom css
.iosSlider-col-2 .entry-thumb {
width: 696px;
margin-top: 105px !important;
}
tell me if you find any other problem related to this slider issue on other pages
Hello,
I am sourcing 720/90 image size in “Post Style 12,13” ads and I could see it’s getting resized to bigger. What should I do so it respect the original image size ?
Ad shown ex: http://geekflare.com/san-ssl-certificate/
