Hi Calin,
Thank you for that update. That page you’ve linked is more informative than the other Buddypress pages on style support I’d seen. I am quite curious as to your findings.
I’ve tried the following with respect to the td-composer plugin and the child-theme.
child-theme root = /
/menu-mobile.php
/parts/menu-mobile.php
/legacy/Newspaper/parts/menu-mobile.php
/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/menu-mobile.php
Unfortunately, none of these has worked for me. So it’s likely an unsupported file.
Btw I think it’s great that tagDiv offers this form of child-theme support, very forward-thinking considering how complex your theme is and its use of additional plugins.
/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/
This is the folder I am finding I need to modify files, like:
logged.php
menu-mobile.php
login.php
Thanks!
Richard
Some Changes in Tag Div Composer, i cant see on Tag Div Composter but live. Thats a pitty because i first have to save and view reload to see changes in live-preview.
For example: font-weight changes
Hello Calin,
I needed to make adjustments to the css for BuddyPress related page elements. All of them. For example, changing the background colour of the buttons that are hoovered over. A simple example:
#buddypress a.button:hover span,
a.bp-title-button:hover span,
#buddypress ul.button-nav li a:hover span,
#buddypress a.button:focus span,
a.bp-title-button:focus span,
#buddypress ul.button-nav li a:focus span,
#buddypress a.button:active span,
a.bp-title-button:active span,
#buddypress ul.button-nav li a:active span {
background-color: #a11ff2;
}
I have way more edits and changes that are needed. I could target this directly from the child theme css file. But this isn’t the correct way to do this according to BuddyPress documentation.
BuddyPress requests that a separate companion CSS file be offered, style-buddypress.css is the file Newspaper is using. However, it’s not being enqueued via functions.php, so it must be somewhere else in the theme’s additional plugin that it’s being setup. Having an edited version in the child-theme doesn’t work.
If the mechanism behind enqueuing this style-buddypress.css file can be understood, it’s probably easier to de-enqueue and re-enqueue for the child theme file instead.
For me, this isn’t as much of an issue anymore as I need to be patching changes that aren’t compatible with the child-theme model you use. i.e. modifying the mobile menu header files. Your documentation on child-theme supported overrides only works for td-standard, not td-composer.
td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/menu-mobile.php
So I’ll copy over the style-buddypres.css into the parent with my edited version as part of the patching. There’s no rush for a response now on my behalf.
Knowing the correct way of doing this would be helpful for others in the future and maybe added to the child-theme documentation.
Thank you and have a nice day.
So these past couple of day’s we’ve been using Divi which is a front end designer similar to the TD composer. We hate WP Bakery because it sucks and decided to purchase the Divi builder because unfortunately the TD composer can’t be used for building custom woocommerce pages like the single product page, etc. Tonight we learned that the Divi builder lacks so much stuff like WP bakery when compared to the TD composer that it’s so frustrating. The one thing we love about the TD composer is that we can have different design settings for different devices without it affecting all other devices as well. All these other so called popular design builder plugins can’t even do that. What the TD composer lacks is the woocommerce custom designing, etc. Tagdiv you guys are already beating the competition. Give us the ability to use the TD composer on ecommerce platforms like SPECIFICALLY woocommerce and you corner the market with your theme and TD composer. Pls research what we’re telling you. Your composer IS THAT GOOD IF NOT WAAY BETTER!
Dear tagDiv Team,
We are using tagDiv with user name sanjeev. Our Website is https://rashtrajyoti.in.
Few days ago, I raised an issue over mail & forum that tpcomposer isn’t functioning properly and gives an issue while editing the Posts, it shows outdated and gives an option to update (instlly/activate), but once we try to update it, it shows ‘failed’ in front of the feature we try to update. Hence, you have asked us to delete the plugin and manually install through evanto. Today, we did the same and tried updating tdcomposer, td social counter & td cloud library manually. But again it is showing the same error. Screenshot – https://ibb.co/jMfwc59
Requesting you to kindly check and help me to resolve it on priority as the site is LIVE. Can be available for Team Viewer Support too. Thanks.
Awaiting for your active and earliest response,
Neelam, dmneelam5@gmail.com,
Theme User, Site Admin,
Team Sanjeev.
Dear all,
although I have defined a svg logo in header (td composer) for any positions the standard jpg logo from theme panel is still loading. Whats the reason for this?

I appreciate your help.
Hello,
For that is this path ” wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_page_views.php ” and in this file, you need to make changes => https://www.screencast.com/t/gjQrk3p8dr
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Greetings,
I have a yellow border at the bottom of images on my single post content sections (for example, https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_animals_pro/2019/03/14/td-post-thousands-of-female-koala-face-this-enormous-problem-in-the-wild/ – the bottom of the elk & wolf photos). It is the only place in my entire website where I cannot find the place to change the color on this. I have looked in the theme panel and in the tagdiv composer and clicked on the element and everything around it. Any help on how to change this color would be appreciated. Thank you. 🙂
Tom
Is there a TD composer component that is similar to the flex block 1 that can show the woocommerce products?
Thanks!
Hello, We are using Newspaper theme version 10.3.9.1 on our multisite, with WordPress version 5.6.1.
We are having the same problem as described in this other post https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-also-showing-on-ipad-viewports/, when we view our website on a tablet (iPad, Kindle Fire, etc) the mobile version of the website displays instead of the tablet view that we set up in TD Composer.
In the other thread, the suggested course of action was to check WP Super Cache settings, but we have set up WP Super Cache according to the directions on your support page. We’ve also tried disabling all plugins in case there was a conflict.
Here is some more info from the system status page, please let me know how we can fix this, thank you.
Theme name Newspaper
Theme version 10.3.9.1
Theme database version 10.3.9.1
HTTP channel test wordpress
Theme Mobile Newspaper mobile version
php.ini configuration
Server software Apache/2.4.38 (Debian)
PHP Version 7.4.10
post_max_size 32M
max_execution_time 120
max_input_vars 3000
SUHOSIN installed false
PHP extensions

GD library available
WordPress and plugins
WP version 5.6.1
WP multisite enabled Yes
WP Language en_US
WP Memory Limit 512 MB/request
WP_DEBUG False
Caching plugin No caching plugin detected – for best performance we recommend using WP Super Cache
Could someone tell me how to fix this error, is not letting me work on my website.

Hello,
Because there is no option in the Theme Panel, you can make changes in the files, but the changes will be lost after you make an update.
To make changes you can find the function in this path ” wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php ” => https://www.screencast.com/t/olnN0qsJ you need to multiply by a number, my example is by 4.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
How can I remove these empty elements boxes??

Hello,
We’ve recently completed developing our new website with Newspaper. When we were doing the final testing for the site, we found that they mobile theme and pages were not the same as the desktop ones.
We’ve activated AMP and Mobile Theme, but we still have the same problem.
Is there an easy way to create the mobile pages without having to recreate them in the TD Composer?
Thank you!
Hi,
I recently updated a WP site, tokengamer.io. It has been inactive for 6 months. Since updating plugins I am unable to edit the front page with tagdiv composer. I get the following error:
Uncaught TypeError: tdcContextMenu is undefined
init https://tokengamer.io/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/assets/js/js_files_for_wp_admin.min.js?ver=9e241c87ee8782e8f19bb886a935e653:10
jQuery 10

Please could someone advise?
Same problem. And your theme doesn’t work with wordpress 5.6.1. After update we got many errors from td-composer plugin. Website took 15 seconds to load. When we rollback to wordpress 5.5.3 everything became fine.
In spite of registering my website and after repeated tries, I am unable to edit any of my websiter’s pages with TD composer. Each time I am given the following response:

What am I doing wrong???
Hi there,
I cannot seem to troubleshoot our TagDiv composer issue; which is that the loading spinner never ends, and I am greeted by the following console errors:

Hello!
When you edit a page with TagDiv Composer, then the page edited simple like in your screenshot will remain like that(with code). You can use TagDiv Composer to edit the page like in our tutorial from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Please edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click the row of the element, and set up also the row like stretch row(also the content), check this screenshot:https://www.screencast.com/t/ysfEBTDGGxek
It should be working.
Thank you!
Hello !
The post title has to be edited using tagDiv composer as you can see here: https://prnt.sc/100msv8
For the other headings in your content:
.tdb_single_content .tdb-block-inner h1 {
color:red;
}
.tdb_single_content .tdb-block-inner h2 {
color:yellow;
}
.tdb_single_content .tdb-block-inner h3 {
color:green;
}
This can be dupliated up to H6.
The codes must be inserted in here: https://www.screencast.com/t/G4qVwC6G
Thank you !
Hello !
If you have created your mobile page using tagDiv Composer than all the modifications have to be done using tagDiv Composer. In order to center the element please try this css code: .tds_icon_box4_wrap .tds-icon-box4 {
left: 42%;
}
Let me know the results !
Thank you !
Hello!
Yes, I mean it custom work. This code you can find it in wp-content/teams/newspaper/loop-single.php [line 25] and in td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module.php [line 610].
<header class="td-post-title">
<!-- title -->

Hi
I have an issue with the editor of template that does recognize create templates.
Here is my actions :
Cloud Templates -> Add New
Select a template like “Footer – Arette PRO”
Click on Save template
Redirected to the TagDiv Composer
Click on Save in TagDiv composer
Click on Close
Then when coming back to the Cloud Templates list
The template is here but the menu only offer : Edit | Trash | View | Duplicate and not “Edit with TagDiv Composer”
The choice is however proposed on previous templates created a few hours ago
I tried to copy paste code from a working template to a non working one (tdc_zone block), but even if the code is identical, the editor choice is not present
Could you please tell me what is the change to do to correct the issue ?
Thanks
Hi. We have problem with MySQL Performance Issues with extremely Slow Queries from td-composer. Our hosting company says that we need to contact to theme developer with this.
When is the update coming out? Will it solve this global problem that has affected most sites on your theme?

Hello !
That file should now be available by following this path: wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_video_support.php
I hope this was helpful !
