We certainly plan to extend the theme features in the future updates. I’ve added your suggestion on our list and when the time comes our developers will consider it. This may take some time because we have a long implementation list and we take them one by one.

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding but we never advertised that the plugin can or should be activated. We state the opposite in our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
You do not have to buy it and do not have to activate it as it’s a free version we provide bundled with our theme.
The front-end editor has been disabled from our theme as it created problems and could not be used. Our theme is adapted to work properly with visual composer as we created our own modules and blocks to work with the plugin.
You can only use visual composer in the back-end at the moment. Please follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

But I had a featured image set for all of these posts. The images just suddenly disappeared. If you look at an older version of my site you’ll see the images were all there.
And also, how do I fix the problem with the visual composer plugin updating automatically? I’m still getting messages about an update to 4.12. Is that not correct?

These are the following path which are consisting of eval and base64_decode.Let me also inform you that it is a fresh install with wordpress.After i install the visual composer , again many path will have files under it containing eval and base64_decode.

Great new feature your mobile theme!
1) Select one category?
But the one thing that keeps me from using it is that I cannot select one (mobile featured) category to be the only content shown on mobile.
I found: includes > wp_booster > td_block.php > line 49 > 'category_ids' => ''
Is that a place where I could manually define my mobile-featured category? (I know that this would mean the I have to re-adjust that after each theme update.)
2) AMP?
You mention somewhere in this forum that you are still thinking about how to proceed with the mobile theme. In connection with that my question: Is your mobile theme anywhere close to Googles AMP? Or where you taken by surprise at the beginning of 2016 by Googles introduction of Accelerated Mobile Pages and may now have to completely rethink your code?
This is also a question about if I should now buy-in to your current mobile theme, or wait for V3 that is AMP-based.

Please notice that all the plugins are in constant development. Each plugin will have to be checked with our theme for a good working and this process it may take a while. For example, the latest version of Visual Composer is 4.12 and the latest version of the plugin which has been tested with our theme is 4.11.2. In the future, after our developers will check this latest version of Visual Composer with the theme and they will find that the theme does not need to do some adjustments for, we will release an update with the latest version of Visual Composer (4.12) and also, with Revolution Slider. Until we will release the update with these latest versions you will have to ignore these messages.
So, please notice that if you want to have the latest version of the Visual Composer, you will need to have the additional license of this plugin and also, we cannot say for sure if this version of Visual Composer will work 100% with the theme because this version it is in testing.

Yeah,everything seems to be working now. I actually had updated to V3, but since I used child theme I was not using the latest footer and header files. Now I do and its working fine.

For better results, please notice that you will have to install all the required version plugins that come bundled with our theme. -> Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1. We’re sorry for this inconveniences you had encountered after the update.
I am not sure why this happened on your sited as checking your site I’ve noticed that it works fine on both mobile and desktop devices. As can be seen from this screen the captcha it is displayed fine on the site: http://screencast.com/t/FJwPo8FlF if you still have this issue try to clear mobile devices cache memory then test the site again.
The whatsapp button it’s available only for mobile devices.

Social Counter send a request to facebook at each 3 hours but if you’re using cache the time may be bigger. However after the caches are emptied the counter should be updated.

Every post I published report a missed update/ error in
Structured data: Markup:microformats.org missed:update
And this seems to belong to the function.php file that is incomplete.

I’ve checked your site and mobile menu does not work properly on mobile devices. Its layout has been changed in V 3 but on your site the layout is from V 2+
Please make sure that you update that theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re suing then test again.

I keep update the theme and plugins all the time as you push updates. I just wonder why Revolution Slider and Visual Composer always asking to update. When I tried to update it always failed because it is bundled with theme.

I have two major problems.
Firstly, all the images in my site up until a certain date, keep disappearing. It has just happened again. (burrardstreetjournal.com)
I noticed in other responses to this problem, that Visual composer needed to be updated. Which brings me to my second problem… I’m still not receiving automatic updates. The wpbakery keeps saying that I don’t have a licence. The last time I messaged you guys, you said that I could upload it manually but it will get a bit repetitive if I have to do this every time.
I don’t think the update is necessarily connected to my original problem, as the images were disappearing when I had all themes and plugins updated. I recently had someone migrate the site and the problem started a few weeks later. Only the images uploaded to the new site are disappearing so I think it must be linked.

I was trying to install the revolution sliders.

But when i looked in the new update folder ” newsmag -tf 4″ there is no .zip file for my demo theme or any demos.

Facebook Social Counter has stopped working on my site. I updated the theme, all plugins, and the social counter to the latest versions and it’s still not updated. I also cleared all caches and waited for a few days.
These are the versions I have installed:
