But Visual Composer continues to copyright requirements . 🙁 I think this is a bug.
Has nothing to do with “copyright…” — you have a free “bundled version” license for the plugin, but you don’t have a paid license so you have to wait for the next theme update to get the latest tested-safe/compatible version of VC. Just ignore t he “update available” notice.

Upshot: just ignore it, you don’t need to do anything.

Then I updated Visual Composer to version 4:11 .
But Visual Composer requires a copyright notice .

Worked, perfect. Thank you very much. I actually loved to see these views there, but, I would have wanted more freedom to decide who sees it. I use the plugin “user role editor” but I didn’t find anything there to change the permission to see that column you added.
So what chris wrote about the plugins that can change this, that would be interesting, if you know a solution to decide that only admins see your column. Maybe you can add a permission for this feature in one of the next updates, so we can decide who gets to show this column in the back-end?

Apparently there is a bug that affects the theme’s fonts and color scheme. I am experiencing major problems on my website too.
I am hoping the developers will address this soon and provide as with a workable update.
Hi guys! Your theme is awesome, but every time you launch an update, and I update my theme, appear a WSOD… How can I solve this? I stay in the version 6.5 for that… Thanks
This “bug?” after the update changes the font’s size, weight and also the color of the menu underlining to the default values for a split of a second and then shows the values that should be visible, the ones entered in the theme panel, in the font settings.
Perhaps this is some value that changed because of the update, but I highly doubt it. I checked all the settings in the theme panel and all look normal.
The default values appear and disappear like a very ugly hover on mouse click animation.
edit: so after a bit of testing it seems that this thing is not stable at all. It happens some time not all the times. So it definitely is a bug. It is not consistent, so it cannot be a wrong setting.

Ok. I found out what the problem was. It was not the plugins but somehow after the update the post number changed from an even number to odd and that caused the problem!

Urgently need your help.
The really major problem is that there seems to be a bug that affects the menu fonts. Everything was fine before the upgrade. Now whenever I click on the menu the fonts change, they become bigger and bold. How did that happen? Please help.
The second minor problem (not exactly a problem but very annoying) is the plugin badge for visual composer that prompts me to buy a licence. I thought it was included with the Newspaper theme.
I have few issue with the theme kindly help me out for that:
1. When we are updating new post its not coming on the latest gallery and front page after update, its reading the old data only. on my blog http://www.wowflixx.com

Hi, I have updated the VC plugin (bundled with your theme), and it says “Howdy, don’t forget to activate plugin…”
As far as I know, I can’t activate the VC plugin bundled with a theme.
Do I have to pay attention to that activation warning? Can I hide that?

Have you run wpoptimize to clean up your dbase a bit? You can also have your webhost do command line duplication of dbase if phpadmin timing out. You may also be able to extend application runtime and allowed filesize in php.ini and or host panel settings.
Good first start to making backup.
Theme update does not impact dbase. Uodate via ftp.
Good idea to export your theme settings first.

I’d need a reassurance because, I want update my newspaper installation from 6.5.1 to the last 6.7
but I cannot do a db backup because my db is more than 1GB….and phpMyAdmin times out …. I can not download all database dump
I will have problems if I upgrade to 6.7?
To be sure I can do backup of all database tables outside of the posts table?
please recommended a way to make the theme update without risk anything

The next page tag you can use it to number the pages on your posts but this tag does not work for modules, sorry! Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option in this regard, sorry! The simplest way to have the H1 tag on your homepage is using the pagebuilder+page title as the template, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/6iO24JGCPUR and then your page title will have H1 tag. Another possibility would be to use a text block for your homepage and set the H1 text as in the example above. In the next major update, we will implement H1 tag in the logo section but until we will release this you can use these methods.
