Another solution in this case with Structure Data does not exist. With our update, we adjusted the theme with the newest Google requirments and now it is all right, do not worry! Usually, we do some investigation in these cases and if is necessary fix them with updates.

Please make sure that you updated the theme according with or documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, just to make sure that there is no conflict, clear all caches and test again.

with one of the many looks we can add to any category page – showing “Category top posts style”
Is it possible to give such “Category top posts style” look to tags pages too ?
If not , can you please add this feature in your future updates.
We dont use many categories , instead have lot of tags.

I’m using W3TC and Cloudflare with Flexible SSL enabled. I’ve disabled minification on Cloudflare and am using W3TC to reduce the number of requests. I do basic minification of CSS and html, but not JS since minifying JS breaks images on my front page. I also combine all CSS into a single file and JS into a single file to reduce the number of requests to my server, which also has the benefit of removing query strings so I can be sure all my CSS, JS, and HTML is being cached correctly by any caching proxies between me and my readers. Minifying html also improves pagespeed slightly since Cloudflare doesn’t cache or optimize HTML.
This also has the added benefit of not having to do a manual process every time I update my Newspaper theme.
Obviously, I’ve also disabled Cloudflare in the W3TC plugin so it doesn’t know I’m using Cloudflare. This means if I do feel the need to clear my Cloudflare cache for some reason, I have to do it manually from the Cloudflare website.

you might want to add this topic to an inevitable FAQs page in the theme docs, as this one will start coming up a lot. Since folks are now hearing about it, even though it was announced last year — takes awhile for it to percolate outwards. Frankly having a web host with http/2 support is more critical in real world than AMP support, but the plugin right now *is* the best solution.
Everybody else:
problem with buildling this into a theme is that as this changes, it might require theme updates to stay on top of some elements and then becomes yet another thing related to WP changes that cause theme updates unrelated to the theme — and some folks do so much customization that multiple udpates per year turns into a major pain.
PLUGIN is best choice as it can be developed/updated, even customized, outside of the theme framework.

However this update comes from the envato website, which means that if they decide to stop support, we cannot get the updated version. Either download will disappear or will point to the previous product.

Unfortunately, until now we have not received any notification from Envato in this regard and how our customers can extend their support period.
Unfortunately, things are a mess at the moment. We do not have a straight answer on how to extend your support and we do not encourage buying a whole new license every time you want to extend your support but unfortunately, it is not us who decide what is what so Envato will have to make up their mind on how things are going to work out.
At the moment, we do not plan on restricting access to this forum until things get cleared up on how this new support policy will work.

Unfortunately we cannot provide the patch files and it is recommended to use these files only if you update from the previous version. We had users who tried to update the theme like that and they had issues after and they had to do a clean install. I suggest to do the same and for future if you want to use the patch use it but only if you use the previous version.

All the theme files will be overwritten when you update the theme and you will have to re-add the code modifications. Only the theme and wordpress settings should not be affected by the update, but anyway it is recommended to make a full backup of your installation before – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups

Andrei provided above the steps that you can follow to create a new post template and register it in the config file and if you want just to modify the template 3 I have provided an answer on dahsboard. If you don’t know how to do it I suggest to get someone to help you as the time doesn’t allow us to provide custom services, sorry! You don’t have to use the api to update the config file, just register directly your new template in config file like the theme’s template already are.

Before doing an update, I recommend doing a backup for your customization because in the latest version of the theme were changed a lot of core files and will be overwritten and you have to spare a bit of time to adjust all your settings to the new version of the theme. You have to do update directly to the latest version without any intermediate pathways.

Well, modifying theme files isn’t practical – all the changes will be overwritten on update.
So what I actually did:
I created new page, added top posts module with category filter, as you recommended.
Added posts module with acceptable layout.
Set this page as static main page.
Google is in midst of changing their schema, and moving a bit from older form to new stuff and heading toward embedding JSON data.
If you get a thumbs up from Google with structured data testing then your’re good.
If you KNOW what the other elements are you WANT to use which Google will support moving forward, you can try to implement some of the new stuff, but keep in mind it’s going through some changes “right now.”
