since last Friday we’ve suddenly been unable to publish posts or pages with the classic editor in WP. We’ve tested this issue and found that with the block editor in WP we can, but we have always used the classic editor and never had any issues.

Also there are issues with publishing a page with the TagDiv composer now since this occured and we’ve also had conflicts with Elementor as it duplicates the content published with Elementor.

My recommendation is that before updating the theme to make a full backup for the database and current website, disbale the extra plugins during the update process, after that update the theme manually – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ (after the theme update, make sure that the needed plugins are installed, like tagDiv Composer, maybe tagDiv Standard Pack and tagDiv Cloud Library).
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/

I recently updated the theme as recommended and it ended up breaking the site vypeplusok.com. At least two of my plugins from tagDiv (cloud library and composer) were not installed and all my theme panel settings were erased. I had to rollback the site to an earlier version. Please take a backup of my site and update the theme to see for yourself.

I need to update WP Bakery plugin.
The documentation says i should delete the installed version and install the new one by uploading the Newspaper-tf/plugins/js_composer.zip file from the zip. However I can’t find this file in the latest Newspaper zip (Version: 12.5).
How can i update this plugin please ?

I updated to 12.5 and for one this spawned a number of issues. First the default tagDiv plugin was disabled so the site was not presented as normal. Then some of the configuration details was lost so I have inserted YouTube API key again and set the default post type. I think I have most working again, but when I add a new video to the player it does not show up in the list. Only old videos from prior to upgrading. Also I have reselected the default post type but this does not have effect when creating a new post. What have I missed?

You use cloud templates on desktop view, and mobile theme + AMP on mobile view. So, you need to set the menu in the theme panel -> Mobile theme in order for it to be displayed in the mobile viewport as well.
Actually, we have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Make sure that your plugins will update as well.
First of all, please make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and then update the theme(recommended via FTP).

When you update the theme, please disable all extra plugins, and after doing the update.
There are also situations where the update does not work properly (due to certain extra plugins that are active, certain restrictions, and server settings), so, please deactivated all extra plugins (if you have WordFence, you need to use the WordFence Assistant to remove it).

after the update we also have an “Error at zones: 6(models)…” bug on some pages.
We were able to identify the app “Disqus Conditional Load” as responsible for it in our setup.
For all posts where the comment function was not activated in the backend, the error was displayed in the frontend.
The error still occurs in the backend if you want to edit a post page directly via “Edit with TagDiv Composer”. The error does not occur if you edit the associated cloud template for the post page.
It seems that there is a conflict with the “Disqus Conditional Load” app after the 12.5 update.
Last update to 12.5 causes Database connection errors. Now i have 12.4 and it works.
I have updated to the latest fix, but still I get the warning.
Been about 5 days the facebook share button is not sending the image to facebook, template is updated just stopped
