Hello Alex!
There is a default space below, and you can delete it like this: https://prnt.sc/x_edUgKQGRqI
Additionally, each element, row, or column has a CSS tab where you can add padding, margin, or border.Â
I think this “effect” is because of the sticky header that you have.Â
Please make sure you have the latest update of the theme and you do not use some extra non tested plugins.
Thank you!

This is the new version of gettr’s official logo material. Please help to update. Thanks!
It would be great if the share icon for gettr could be added here!

Hi,
We have the Newsmag 5.2.1 WP theme installed on washingtonthoroughbred.com. We host with Bluehost (VPS for Business).
Recently (August 23) we experienced extreme slowness and intermittent “internal server error” messages showing a white screen when trying to update/add posts. The site was not accessible to most people who tried to access it (it just wouldn’t load or was extremely slow causing people to hit the “refresh” button multiple times in an attempt to pull up the website). During this time we had a surge in traffic due to an online bidding event (Google Analytics puts us at 2,974 page views for the day… daily page views are normally around 200-600). In the past, we’ve successfully had page views of 4,485 in one day (August 21, 2018) and the site remained operational. In the last two years (August 2021 and 2022), we’ve experienced these types of issues––that is, during traffic surges.
Bluehost claims there is a problem with our themes, plug-ins, etc. and that it is not due to the hosting plan. There was only one plug-in that needed updating at the time (UpdraftPlus).
Here is the PHP info for our website: https://washingtonthoroughbred.com/info.php
On the theme’s system status screen, I discovered two warnings today:
– PHP Execution Time = 30 (tagDiv recommends 60 or more)
– PHP Max Input Vars = 1000 (tagDiv recommends 2000 or more)
Once traffic died down, the site was reachable more consistently and we were able to resume with adding/updating posts.
On another note: We use Bluehost’s email servers and we were also unable to send email during the surge in traffic.
Has anyone else using the Newsmag theme run into this type of issue? From a theme builder’s perspective, what recommendations do you have for us moving forward? Can you recommend a way to give the site a stress test to reproduce the problem?
I do have a staging site set up at Blogvault:
https://washingtonthoroughbred218.e.wpstage.net/
Usr: blogvault
Pwd: 0e3fff7e
Staging SFTP and PHPMyAdmin access is available on request.
Much appreciated, and please let me know if I can provide more details.
Thanks,
Venessa Koehn

Hi Bettina
Thanks for your fast reply and it turns out that the problem was my providers cache program – everything works fine after i deactivated that. It has never been a problem, but apparently after an update it has become a problem. So now i will have to hunt for another cache plugin – I will absolute not change the Newspaper Theme which is the best theme ever 🙂
Any way to update Youtube API without this panel? I don’t want to turn off our firewalls just for this.
Update: I found that for some reason the Flex Block 1 default settings for the Review and Author settings were “undefined” and when I set them, it didn’t seem to save properly, so I deleted and adding again, and that seems to fix, so maybe when originally created it didn’t save something. Maybe this will be helpful in diagnosing the issue for others.
After upgrading to version 11.5.1 (before it had 10), the Weather styles in the Top bar are not correct, texts are very large and are on different lines

Please can you help me?
Hello @tabloidsusa!
We recommend using an automatic backup plugin like UpdraftPLus. If you prefer doing the backup manually, you can follow the WordPress guide: https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-backups/
We always recommend regular backups and updates of the theme. Do not use some untested plugins with our theme in order to avoid a plugin conflict.
Thank you!
Hello @fferrero!
We will try to improve this theme more and more to optimize these aspects as well in every update and add new features. We will try our best to bring you the best solutions in the future and will take into consideration your queries.
Thank you so much for understanding!
When I try to update anything on Newspaper – Theme Panel (version 11.5.1) and hit save settings, I just get a spinning box. How can I fix this? Thanks
Hi,
That will indeed require modifications in the respective file, there’s no way around it. It would have been useful in this case if the file was supported by the child theme, but it is not unfortunately. So the modification has to be made in the main file in the composer. Sorry for this inconvenience.
Or maybe our developer team can think of a way to do it, a more update proof way, as a custom solution for your website. If you are interested, you can always submit a request here https://tagdiv.com/submit-a-request/ even if just to know if it can be done or not, or what it will take to do.
Thank you!
Hello,
Im using the Chained template header. I cannot get the logo to update with the new image I added.
Thanks
Hello Simion,
I notice that you add new demos very constantly. Haven’t the dev team thought that is a better idea to optimize the theme instead of keeping adding demos?
If so, does this next update includes the fix of the reported issue?
Thanks
Hi,
There will be a new theme update released in the following weeks. It is a relatively big update containing new features, demos, also some fixed and improvements/optimization.
As for PHP8 the theme is compatible with it. There are plenty of theme users using PHP8 with the theme for a while now. In case you encounter a problem please let us know, but there should be no problems
Thank you!
No update since more than 2 months?
Whate is the newt date of the update?
Hi,
On large websites with lots of content and high traffic most themes will struggle. In a way it is expected, a traffic spike for example can cause problems for the duration. Deactivating the composer is practically deactivating the theme, the composer is the theme basically.
To try and see if there is an improvement in the matter, I suggest reducing or removing temporarily the number of ajax pagination used.
For example https://i.imgur.com/ImkD7Qz.png Or replace that block with a post loop element and use numbered pagination.
Or here in the post page https://i.imgur.com/DTBWoxi.png Or anywhere else where ajax pagination is used. Try it as a test if possible.
Also maybe consider using either the cloud library plugin, or the standard pack plugin. Use one or the other, and deactivate the one you are not using. This is why we separated the theme options in 2 plugins, to try and improve the performance, assuming only one of them is used.
Cleaning the database periodically/regularly if possible does wonders as well. There are plugins that can be do this on a schedule even, like this one I believe https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-database-cleaner/
Also if possible, and you haven’t already, I suggest using PHP 8. There should be quite a difference in performance between for example PHP 7.4 and 8.
Our developer team have improved the composer drastically since it was introduced a few years ago. Maybe not every update contains improvements, but the next in line surely will. They will try to optimize it further.
Thank you!
Hi,
Actually there is no newer content in the Instagram account to tell if it’s working and synchronizing on the dev website. Maybe it works or maybe it doesn’t. If the account is connected in the theme panel it should work.
After our developer team had to make modifications in the theme in order for Instagram to continue to work, the solution that was found is the current one, a business account must be connected in the theme panel. The theme will then have authorization to access the account and get the content. The images from the account are kept in the media library on the website, so they are displayed from there, not having to keep making multiple requests to Instagram. On the dev website those images will remain displayed there indefinitely if there’s no newer content, even if the whole system doesn’t work.
But in older theme versions this system was not yet implemented I believe, like the version you are using on the main website. That tries to function using the older system, and that will most likely not work anymore. There were also other fixed and updates in the matter in more recent theme updates -> https://i.imgur.com/SkYmw33.png
The only solution to display Instagram content in the live website using the theme Instagram widget, is to update the theme. Or if that is not possible for various reasons, you could try some Instagram feed plugins. They also mostly work with connecting accounts and will work fine probably.
Let me know.
Thank you!
Hi,
We are aware of that issue, it is already fixed and will work fine from the next theme update. In the meantime, you could set the desired template for the woocomemrce categories from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/LtqJvts.png
Sorry for this inconvenience. Please try this other method for the time being.
Thank you!
Most users, myself included, think that the “TD composer” plugin is a performance issue and that the developers somehow did not optimize the theme and the plugin. Even if we host it on a powerful server, it does not give the performance it should. Future updates should ONLY be for performance.
Hi support team.
I have the same problem, the Instagram image feed is not showing the pictures in the global footer, but I wanted to point your attention on another aspect:
I have exactly the same site, running the same version of the theme (10.4 and I cannot update), in two different environments: production (or LIVE) and development.
The production environment doesn’t show the feed and, looking at the code, it’s trying to load the pictures from this URL:
https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.2885-15/274622029_3149200718694712_2486979673539822313_n.webp?stp=c227.0.500.500a_dst-jpg_e35&_nc_ht=scontent.cdninstagram.com&_nc_ohc=nAgJL-Z6sTQAX9DZc0g&edm=ABfd0MgBAAAA&ccb=7-5&oh=00_AT9Vtjo_bZwJkSNxjeqa5R9Vl8bOjeANNHqZbb8KhDs0iA&oe=62C5ABE4&_nc_sid=7bff83
And if you go on that URL the browser shows URL signature expired message.
In the development environment instead, the instagram feed is showing the recent thumbnails, but they are loaded locally (so from the local /wp-content/uploads/2022/04/ directory) and as a link background.
That’s a completely different way of loading and showing pics. Why?
And why it’s still working on DEV?
The websites are:
https://www.worldfootballscouting.com/
and
https://dev.worldfootballscouting.com/
So, I hope this will help your developers to give us all an answer.
Waiting for your kind reply.
Thanks.

We recently added the TagDiv Shop plugin for our website’s marketplace: bluedotliving.com/marketplace.
I added a pre-designed cloud template to use as our “Woo categories archive template” and made some edits with no trouble. However, when I went to check off the box to make this the global template, I get an indefinitely spinning wheel as if it is updating…but it never updates. Please help 🙂
Hey guys,
Since the new update all article headlines that have commas or apostrophes are turning into strange symbols, can’t get any normal symbol to work. Anyone have a fix?
