Hi,
We have logout the instagram and facebook and reconnect after clearing the cache.
Result is as usual. No images in instagram footer.
Please check at this pic:
Hello,
You need to delete the element -> https://i.imgur.com/KZTyvCv.png with right-click, clear all cache and add it again.
Thank you!
Hi, sorry for late reply.
We have adopted the changes, but as we try to edit the instagram and footer, it shows this type of footer is not editable with tagdiv composer. Please use the cloud templates.
Please check this pic:
Moreover, we have already confirmed that as we try to insert the instagram element in the page, then it instantly appears the pictures.
Please take a look at this pic. . .
Now, this is all that we could update to you.
Regards,
Hello,
I think the problem will be solved if you use a footer template -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Thank you!
Our client has refused to change the current footer with the cloud templates. We want to use the previous option of instagram footer from the theme panel like we did before.
Now, how many chances are there that this option would be resolve in the next theme update?
It’s very unfortunate as one of your colleague told us that this issue would be resolve in the next update, which has been passed now, but the issue stays where it was before.
Using cloud template is not an option for us. We want to stick with the same footer format.
Hello,
Everything related to the tagDiv standard pack plugin is deprecated.
The problem has been resolved, but for the tagDiv cloud library.
Also, you can import a footer template just like the one you have -> https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/single/footer/Footers/407
Thank you!
Hi, I just updated my Newspaper theme, and my Instagram footer is still busted. I hope with every update it will be fixed. Does anyone on the dev team know the exact cause of the issue? And maybe an estimate for when it will be fixed. For Newspaper theme customers, are you using a workaround plugin for now?
Hi JKLFab,
Normally this problem should not occur anymore especially if a footer cloud template is used and Instagram is set with Composer.
This problem can only occur if you use standard footer (unfortunately, no implementations are made for the old templates, those in the standard pack).
If you do you use a cloud footer, then please let us to inspect the situation.
Thank you!
We want to display the Instagram pictures with standard footer. There are many websites that are displaying Instagram with standard footer.
This is not the solution to just change standard footer with cloud one.
About 5 new theme updates have been rolled out since the start of this issue and the issue still stay where it was before, desipte being multiple assurances by TD Support guys.
Hi,
Please understand us too. we are just the support team, we don’t implement fixes, these are made by the developers, and if the management decided not to continue with the standard template, it offered a solution to be able to have the same design on the cloud.
Please don’t think that’s how I or we decided (the support team).
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi, as per your guidelines, we have merged the cloud template for footer to show the instagram footer.
Now, we are facing issue that the logo we have used in footer is not auto-resizing in different devices and it stays in one size, whether we look it in desktop, tablet or smartphone.
Please take a look at the pic:
Plz provide us the workable solution to sort this thing out….
Thanks
It’s just not working 🙁
I’m using a Cloud footer called Gourmet Pro, when I edit in Composer, it is showing me a preview of my follower count, but it shows a follower count that is lower by 1K, so maybe that means I’m connected, unless that is somehow an old cached number somewhere.
Then I go to the Newspaper Theme panel, and it also still says I’m connected as a Business Instagram. It also shows my follower count by 1K less than I actually have. No clue what’s going on here.
Hi support team.
I have the same problem, the Instagram image feed is not showing the pictures in the global footer, but I wanted to point your attention on another aspect:
I have exactly the same site, running the same version of the theme (10.4 and I cannot update), in two different environments: production (or LIVE) and development.
The production environment doesn’t show the feed and, looking at the code, it’s trying to load the pictures from this URL:
https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.2885-15/274622029_3149200718694712_2486979673539822313_n.webp?stp=c227.0.500.500a_dst-jpg_e35&_nc_ht=scontent.cdninstagram.com&_nc_ohc=nAgJL-Z6sTQAX9DZc0g&edm=ABfd0MgBAAAA&ccb=7-5&oh=00_AT9Vtjo_bZwJkSNxjeqa5R9Vl8bOjeANNHqZbb8KhDs0iA&oe=62C5ABE4&_nc_sid=7bff83
And if you go on that URL the browser shows URL signature expired message.
In the development environment instead, the instagram feed is showing the recent thumbnails, but they are loaded locally (so from the local /wp-content/uploads/2022/04/ directory) and as a link background.
That’s a completely different way of loading and showing pics. Why?
And why it’s still working on DEV?
The websites are:
https://www.worldfootballscouting.com/
and
https://dev.worldfootballscouting.com/
So, I hope this will help your developers to give us all an answer.
Waiting for your kind reply.
Thanks.
