Hello!
We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use which one is more affordable and useful for you.
In order to display your mobile pages or the responsive version, please deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!
When I request a password reset and an email is sent, part of the text is not being translated.
I’m having to translate by hand with each update in the file below:

$message .= __( ‘If this was a mistake, just ignore this email and nothing will happen.’ ) . “\r\n\r\n”;
Hello
I just received an email advising there was a new theme update.
Can you please send copy in the changes and updates that are included. I would like to see the changes before proceeding to update.
Yes, thank you, that was the case, I deleted the “object-cache.php” file and tried to register again. Now it shows as registered again. And it is updated. I hope anyone else having the same problem find the solution here!
Hello!
Yes, the update 11.4.3 is live.
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
1. Yes, that’s correct, we want to use both the mobile theme plugin and the responsive version (for a few key pages).
However, the problem is that we are turning that off and on.
If we have it switched on (blue showing) it uses the mobile theme and doesn’t load any assets.
If we have it switched off (white showing) our website is displaying incorrectly since the update (a weird header at the top, a huge amount of white space that takes up an entire mobile phone screen, and then the page loads.
Please see this page on desktop: https://dutchreview.com/dutchreview-team/internships/editorial-internship/
And a screen recording of the same page on mobile: https://share.icloud.com/photos/0f8FaOspRfzgwSSp7kA-AxoqQ
These pages used to display correctly and it is only after updating that they are not working.
2. The mobile theme is deactivated for those pages but the huge gap at the top and the lack of responsiveness are persisting. This worked prior to the most recent update.
3. No, the new update does not fix it. We are up to date and the problem persists. Screenshot: https://jmp.sh/jdxE2lM
Best,
Sam
Hi,
1. So do you want to use both, mobile theme plugin and responsive version?
If is so, then yes, you can use the enable/disable option -> https://jumpshare.com/v/l3GBkXGzVTNaYdiqNQgW that should be set on off.
If you do not want to use the mobile theme plugin, then just please disable it.
2. It looks that on the links that were provided the mobile theme is apply on each of them, but if you disable the mobile theme from them and the cache is all cleared, then the problem should be resolved. When you are logged in it is disapplied the right version?
3. Maybe the new update will fix the problem, for this, please make a full backup and only after that update the theme.
Thank you!
About one year ago, after one of the theme updates or after I enable Instagram buisness account, I had a problem that I turned a blind eye to for a long time, but now I wanted to ask for help in solving it. In the Instagram setting for the footer (“Footer settings / Instagram Settings / SHOW THE FOOTER INSTAGRAM SECTION”), there is a line for the Instagram ID . It is filled out correctly, but a year ago I began to receive a “empty” pictures, which is completely unacceptable. I was forced to turn off this option because of this. Now I once again updated the Newspaper theme to the latest version, but this again did not solve the problem. Empirically, I managed to determine that if the ID in this field will be set to the Personal Instagram Access Token key, then everything starts working correctly. But I cannot leave the Instagram Access Token key in this line due to security reason, because it is displayed on the site in this case. Hove to resolve this issue, any idea? Thank you in advance.
Update to 11.4.3 makes it impossible to filter by tag slug, both in Flex Block 1 and Trending Now, at least. I reverted to 11.4.2 and it was resolved.
Hi,
Then please make another test, please remove the Instagram and Facebook account from the theme panel, disable and delete the tagDiv composer and reinstall it from Newspaper > plugin and set the accounts back in the theme panel. This should update the followers.
Let me know the results!
Figured that.
will the page template update come out TODAY?
I am using Newspaper since 2017 and on the recent update, I got a message on the update tab “Your Newspaper Theme license is not registered yet”. I have to note that initially, on the header next to the version number, there was the usual indication of the green “Registered”. I tried to reset the key, as mentioned in the steps suggested but not the theme is unregistered and I tried a couple of times to activate it, but nothing happens. I enter the activation code and I get the message “Theme successfully activated. Thanks for buying our product.” but it keeps on appearing “Unregistered”.
Hi,
Maybe this will be add in the coming updates. A theme update was made today.
In case that you are in harry, then you can make a request to our custom services -> https://tagdiv.com/submit-a-request/
“In regards to having this Fixed background you have showed me. Does this lift the flexblocks off the page so they are kind of not (crawled) (discovered) by search engines and count the post titles ect ect as links?”
I checked the source page and the blocks are still there, but the layout and and a part of it is a little changed, you can try it as a test, maybe there will be some better results, but I can not guaranty this.
Thank you!
Hello!
This is not possible, sorry. But, you can built a page with the TagDiv Composer and insert content via our elements like “Text with title” or “Column text”.
“Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open and you can add some text/code there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
In the new update from today, we’ve added Page Templates.
Thank you!

For a different mobile homepage, I suggest you to use option 2, mobile pages.
Please make sure this is not a plugin conflict or a cache issue.
Thank you!
Hi,
There is a new theme update, Newspaper v11.4.3 please try it, make sure that you clear all cache, purge CDN.
I hope this will help!
Let me know the results!
Hi fahadumar,
First, I want to make sure that I was able to inform you of all data about the mobile versions that our theme can have.
1. Responsive version, this is by default when you install the theme and you do not use mobile page or mobile theme plugin.
2. Mobile page/template this allows you to create with tagDiv Composer and cloud a different layout and set different elements for mobile and iPad/tablet and it will overwrite the responsive version.
3. Mobile theme plugin, this is a light theme version for mobile that will overwrite the mobile page and responsive version if enabled.
So when you have a mobile page/template this will be used instead of a responsive version, but if you also have the mobile theme enabled, this one will override both of them.
How to combine them? Yes, this can be possible, for example the mobile page/template will apply only on that page or cloud template that is assigned. But what to do if you want to use a mobile theme plugin too? If you use mobile theme, in Gutenberg editor it is an option to disable the mobile theme in current post/page, if you use the option, then it will be use the mobile page/template (if is assigned) or the responsive version.
So in your case you can disable the mobile theme on the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/NX57q4t.png or if you do not want it at all, disable the plugin or use it only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/Grlz5Ee.png.
Here is also a video that explains all those -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Hope this will help you!
Thank you

I can see that you use the third option: Mobile Theme(theme panel), but you created also mobile pages. In order to display your mobile pages, deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!

5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)

Hi,
From your screenshot you have Newspaper v9.8 https://i.imgur.com/CQScWJO.png and the current version is 11.4.3 (today was made a theme update).
The sticky option from your video it is only on columns for sidebars.
I recommend to make a full backup for your website and update the theme.
Thank you!
Hey TagDiv team,
1. After updating to 11.4.2 last week our custom mobile homepage is no longer displaying.
I have read through the documentation and the previous posts and can confirm that the “Disable mobile theme” setting is turned on: https://jmp.sh/06VjFc7
I have also cleared our cache. Can you please assist?
Two other small enquiries:
2. Some of our pages that were previously displaying responsively on mobile are not anymore (one displays but there is a large gap at the top and many of the images are out of proportion, and the other two load an empty page). The first doesn’t have mobile theme disabled and the other two do. When I view these pages on desktop using Inspect and scale them for mobile devices they scale perfectly.

3. I enquired recently about why we couldn’t see headers when working in the Block Editor after the latest WP update. These are semi-fixed (they show as a different font) but still appear very small. Is there a way to fix these so that they appear closer to WYSIWYG yet?
Thanks in advance!
Hello!
Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunately the number of followers doesn´t update automatically once a day.
I think there is a problem with Newspaper template.
Am I the only one with this problem?
Thanks, best regards
