Okay thanks. Here i have another updates. Let me know.
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/display-widget-2/#post-13848962
I’ve tested the same plugin and the issue occurs with the TagDiv mobile theme plugin active only.
If you switch themes or deactivate this plugin the widgets appear. Unfortunately you’ll need to contact TagDiv support in relation to this.
Hi
My website is under construction and I have recently updated it to the latest version of Newspapaer 10.3.9.1
I installed Default Pro demo and deactivated the Standard Pack plugin. Later I checked the site speed but realized that I hadn’t done everything in order as the speed was very slow (8.63s load time as per Pingdom speed test).
May I ask you to help me with this and check what did I do wrong? Below I have mentioned the details of access to my dashboard if you need more detailed information:
Link: http://mdq.txi.mybluehost.me/
I would be grateful to you if you help me!
Thank you beforehand!
Hi, I’m using latest update Newspaper theme. I’ve put together a website with a lot of customizations and it looks great on my laptop and tablet. However, when I view it on phones, it’s displaying like a very “generic” black and white Newspaper theme with none of the customizations I’ve made. When I view my website on TD Composer in the “mobile mode” – it looks fine – with all customizations working. It’s just that when I view it on an actual mobile phone, it displays the generic black and white theme. You can check this for yourself … this is the website: http://www.thecreatecafe.com
Hi,
I recently updated to a different template. My header is now duplicating on the post page and I don’t know how to get it to remain solely on the homepage. Any help will be appreciated.
Hi,
I just updated my theme from 9x to 10x (newest).
I have big problems creating new pages with TD composer. When I create for example new page with pricing table and hit save button, it shows no errors.
When I open up that same page again in TD composer all content are gone – and it gives me error. See screenshot. https://prnt.sc/wcjkqh
After this error, I tried creating a whole new page. Now I can’t even save without error. See screenshot. https://prnt.sc/wcjmim
This is really annoying and im considering going back to WP bakery builder. But I like the way TD composer works, so maybe you got a solution?
Please note that Im not using WP bakery builder and TD composer on the same page.
This is how it looks backend:
https://prnt.sc/wcjnt9
Thank you and hope you can help me.
best
Frederik
Hi calin, looks like it was update from the Fast Velocity Minify plugin.
Here you can see similar complaints after the latest update of the plugin: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/fast-velocity-minify/
Now, please suggest the best setting for this plugin that will not break our Newspaper design?
Hello !
Unfortunately this source will not work with wordpress. At the moment we are waiting for wordpress to update their embedding options.
Thank you !
You may activate the mobile at:
[theme panel] > [mobile theme] > [mobile settings]
> USE MOBILE THEME FOR > select “AMP” > save settings
(just to make sure you have activate toolbar at frontend)
then, go to [wordpress menu bar] > users > select and edit your user
at the “Toolbar” > make sure you select “Show Toolbar when viewing site”
at the “AMP Developer Tools” > make sure to enable “Enable AMP developer tools to surface validation errors when editing posts and viewing the site”
you may start editing the mobile page.
in this newspaper theme, editing the main page for desktop pc and mobile are 2 different designs
A quick review on creating the mobile. 2 ways to create mobile page:
==============
1st way:
==============
[wordpress admin menu bar] > [pages] > find your page (the home page) and select [edit with TD composer]
in short, edit the page with “TD composer”.
now you hav enter the TD composer editor, at the left panel where you can see “Welcome to tagDiv Composer”, at the top, you should be able to see either [create mobile page] or [edit mobile page].
there, you go, click on that button, you’ll start creating mobile version of the page.
==============
2nd way:
==============
while you have already log in, go to the page (in this case, the home page), at the top center toolbar, at the green button [edit with TagDiv composer], at right side, you will see the option to create or select the mobile page version.
for more information on this guide, you may refer to this tutorial guide:
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
================================
Editing the header & footer
================================
You need to first import the template from the desktop page. Then only you can edit the header/footer (for mobile version).
The steps:
While you are editing the mobile page in tagDiv composer, click the [Manager] or [Website Manager]
then…
[header] > [convert template] > select the template header that is used by the normal page (desktop page)
then…
[footer] > [convert template] > select the template footer that is used by the normal page (footer page)
Then, the header, menu sidebar and footer are all unlocked for editing.
To edit the background image of sidebar menu:
> go to [theme panel] > background > mobile menu/search background > background image

Hello,
Unfortunately, yes, because the files to update will be rewritten, and you can’t save the settings in child theme.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello!
You can edit the demo before activating the theme, but until you activate you will not be able to update the theme or to manually import cloud templates.
Thank you!
Thanks 🙂
works perfectly.
Is there a way not to lose the changes in future updates?
Thanks
Assuming that you are using the latest version of “Newspaper”.
You can first verify that if the mobile plugin is installed or not (which I think you have already activated it), but in case not (just to verify)….
at the [newspaper] > welcome
click, install and activate the recommended plugins
1. tagDiv Mobile Theme
2. Official AMP for WP
then go to [theme panel] > [mobile theme] > [mobile settings] > USE MOBILE THEME FOR
> select “AMP” > save settings
then go to [wordpress menu bar] > users > select and edit your user
at the “Toolbar” > make sure you select “Show Toolbar when viewing site”
at the “AMP Developer Tools” > make sure to enable “Enable AMP developer tools to surface validation errors when editing posts and viewing the site”
then you can start editing the mobile page.
in this newspaper theme, editing the main page for desktop pc and mobile are 2 different design
the mobile page requires another separate creation and editing.
therefore the “mobile” edition of the “page” is needed to be created.
there are 2 ways (which I know so far) to create and edit the “mobile” version of page.
==============
1st way:
==============

Hello !
We are sorry for the inconvenience !
Our developers are now focusing 100% on making sure that 2021 updates are helpful for the new plans that Google has. Starting from January this will be the main goal of each update that they are already working on.
Thank you !
Hi, normal the automatic update was working ok in our tests, but there were some users that, as you had some problems after the theme update, but those how use the manual theme update didn’t say anything about this, therefore is possible that the manual update to be better, is not done only with two clicks, but in most cases the results are better.
You can try this with the next theme update, make a full backup and try on subdomain both theme updates options. Also hope that for the coming update, if there are some problems with the automatic update to be solved.
Thank you!
Hi,
Is possible that this problem to be solved in the next theme update.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Recently, newspaper theme was updated to 13.9.1 and found out it isnt compatible with wordpress 5.6.
So I reverted the theme back to 13.9
And the following problems occurs.
1. Theme panel settings are gone -> footer, header, category settings and template settings.
Actually this wasn’t the first time this occurred. Wondering what i should do to fix and methods to prevent this from happening again. Thanks.
site address: significant-trivia.com
same thing happens to me every single time theme is updated.
replying just to see what the tagdiv has to say about it.
Thanks for making this thread
The design of our site is broken. Unnecessary gaps, white spaces are thereafter Sunday.
Here is the original design: https://snipboard.io/JU6nFp.jpg
This is the problem: https://snipboard.io/8vPDYX.jpg
As you can see, there are unnecessary white spaces. There was an update? Everything was ok until Saturday.
When I am logged-in, I can see the original design, but when I am logged-out or in incognito mode, the design is broken.
Also, we got a “Content wider than screen” warning in Google Webmaster. Maybe it is related to this bug. Because there were no problems at all before this.
Already tried deleting the cache, the system is ok. Please Help.
Hello, @calin we updated automatically. Do you recommend updating from now on manually via FTP/cPanel instead of automatic?
Hi Bettina,
I tried to two options on the link you gave me.
But it isn’t working, once the Composer page open, the error message appear and I can’t do nothing on the menu on the left.
I disabled all my plugins, it’s not working either.
I’ve got an issue with Gutenberg that I fixed with the plugin “Disable Gutenberg”. If I’m not using this plugin, I can’t publish anything, I’ve got this message:
“Update failed. You are probably offline.”
I don’t know how to fix this Gutenberg issue, even when all my plugins are disabled.
Thanks for your help.
Vincent
This has happened 3 times now, whenever the theme updates.
– All my plugins are un-installed
– I have to re-activate my theme using my ENVATO purchase code
– I have to install all the plugins again, and re-activate them.
I asked bluehost support for my wordpress website and they provided me with this information:
