Hi, I have purchased the newspaper theme and have it installed on my WordPress.
the theme runs it well but when I try to update the theme I found that the state of my theme is not activated.

I press the “activate theme” but it shows I cannot access this page…
but I am the owner and the admin of the website.

what should I do?

I just wanted to edit my exiting cloud templates, but it’s not possible anymore: I get an error like

Errors at columns elements: 1(models) : 2(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

and the editors shows a 404 error.

I saw, that a lot of people do report this error and the answer is always: Please give as login data, we have to look at it.

Is there a general solution for this error? What do I have to do to edit my templates again?

I have upgraded to 10.3.8 and have COV-19 ITALY REPORT PRO demo installed.
After upgrade my story templates show Italy report pro default headers and footers again.
Fortunately, my site is not yet online but I have to configure my own settings again.

1. How do I make sure my own headers and footers stay after upgrades?
2. How can I make only one change to headers and footers? I have a lot of different story templates, if I change
any settings in footers and headers will they override the default header and footer template?

Hi I’m new to this theme, I usually use a child theme to keep styles when there are updates, however, the documentation says this isn’t necessary for the Newspaper theme, please can someone advise before I start working on it. Many thanks …

Every time I try to create a page with Newspaper it gives “page expired” error, not making me create the page. sending screenshots.
Theme updated to the latest version, site http://www.studiodelbianco.it, I have already increased the memory. (I try to create the articles).

I just updated from v7 to the latest v10 and I am really disappointed with the site speed scores; 62 on desktop and a terrible 12 on mobile. The main issues seem to be loading lots of JS & CSS that isn’t needed as well as render-blocking resources.

I would expect much better. Can I do anything in the theme settings to improve this? Given Google’s plans for the user experience scoring next year if improvements arent made I am going to have stop using this theme.

Dear, since the last update all links on images stopped working. Now they all act like a Lightbox instead of opening the link to a new page.

Hi Big team and I haven’t written to you for a long time because I was happy with your beautiful theme, now after the last update I find 2 problems that I can’t solve, I searched the forum but I couldn’t ask you for help. The first problem is only on firefox the images do not come out on the home page and the second that the images do not come out when I share the post on twitter, even following the guide everything seems ok. I have a problem with the posts. Yesterday I was migrating from the local version of the website to the production version and everything was fine. After some time, without my intervention (probably), the website started showing redirect loops only on posts. I figured it might be a matter of automatic wordpress update or some plugin. Have you ever encountered such a problem?

I will add that the local version has also stopped working properly

I would like to specify the font size and weight for the article title in a flex block 1. I do not want to specify these on each instance of the flex block as this will be laborious to change later on every instance.

I can set the font family in [theme settings >> Modules and Blocks – Article Title >> General Font] however this does not allow me to set size and weight as this element is specified to be of type ‘general_setting’ (td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/td_config.php:29285).

If I do not wish to override this value on every instance then how should I achieve this? Options I can think of are:
1) edit td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/td_config.php as follows
'modules_general' => array(
'text' => 'General font',
'type' => 'default',
)
But I don’t like this option as it will likely be problematic in the face of updates

2) I could create a new plugin that implements a bespoke implementation of a flex block that uses, say, module_1 for font settings.

3) something else that I haven’t thought of
