Hi, I do not need to show featured image inside posts. Only on category and Home pages as a small thumbnails.
All my posts had featured imaged before I updated the theme. Every single post on my current blog have a featured image (you can check wilhard.ru). Updating the theme deleted the featured image from half of the posts.
I do not want to setup manually a featured post for all posts, because it’s a lot of job and every single post had a featured image before I updated the theme from 9.1 to 9.2.2.
Please, how do I return featured posts?

If you don’t use you can deactivate it and use WPBakery instead, there will be no problem. No point having two page builders active and loading at the same time.
As a note, when you will update the theme in the future, the tagDiv composer will automatically be installed and activated, so if that happens you will have to deactivate it again.

Would be nice to have native support to have one, the other or both. I tried the CSS hack mentioned in some forum posts and it was just that, a hack that depending on screen or post layout the formatting was sloppy.
OK FIXED IT.
If anyone else has this problem check Newspaper – Plugins. These plugins also need updating. Not sure why this theme is so different to every other in the way its plugins and updates work, but there you go.
As title says – my site looks funky. I have code everywhere. I thought this might have just needed an update so I installed the envato plugin and updated Newspaper. Updated all my other plugins and wordpress itself. No luck 🙁
It seems to be any content I had placed in boxes/grids with the Composer. Images, buttons, embedded music etc.

This error appears only after a post has been saved/published/previewed once. It seems to only appear on posts I’m trying to update.
Using Post Style 11.
I’m running into this error code when trying to save a post (seems to happen only after the first save). Makes editing a post impossible. I’m running on WP-Engine, latest WP version.
Any ideas? (other than linking to the requirements page). I see there are other wp-engine clients out here.

I believe there are plans for a future update to be able to set a cloud template for a whole category of posts, so that they will all use that template without setting it individually for each post. I think this is what you mean.
However I can’t say when the setting will be available at this point.

I am not that tech savvy and yet my tech savvy support person did not seem aware of the new Gutenberg editor when I was horrified to see all my backend editor suddenly change when we did an update! I have reverted back to classic editor for posts for now but what has happened to my homepage template? From the front end it all looks the same – sections, images, sidebar etc, but in the backend it is just a blank page. I need to edit the home page urgently – change some titles link to different categories and so on but there is nothing to edit on the backend. Nobody seems to know why but this must be to do with the Gutenberg thing. Any advise at all please? Thank you.

There is an issue similar to what you are describing when the composer save animation doesn’t stop spinning, when the mobile theme plugin is active. The page should still be saved even if the success message is not displayed however.
This problem will be solved in the coming theme update. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The “Current page was not created by TD Composer” message or the status of those custom fields will not cause any problems.

Hi,
The website uses an older theme version, some socials will not work in these circumstances. For example there have been modifications made by Facebook, Instagram, Twitter on their side quite a while back, we had to make modifications in the theme to keep the same functionality for the social counter.

Newspaper-Theme update from 9.0.1 to 9.2.2 didn’t help. There is a new rev-Slider update (5.4.8 to 5.4.8.1), but how do i get it and install it? Its not in the normal 9.2.2-Download on envato-Market.

To be safe make a full backup before you update the theme.
If you made modifications to the theme files directly these will be lost, anything else will not be affected. The theme panel settings, ad codes, custom code is saved in the website database. But it is safer to make a backup as well.

Hi Support, I have two website using the same Newspaper theme. Both using same wordpress version 4.9.9, however only one of my website automatic deactivate TagDiv Composer plugin. Then, I download latest version of theme from themeforest and update all plugin to latest version. But unfortunately issue still there. TagDiv’s plugin will still automatically deactivate itself. Is there anyway to disable auto deactivate function?

You need to delete the mobile plugin version you are currently trying to enable and add a new plugin. Add the mobile theme plugin from the theme version you downloaded from envato. This is the only way to update the plugin. It will be disabled if an incorrect version is detected.

You can create a custom footer page using the tagdiv composer where you can add an image carousel, but you cannot ad it to the header at the moment as the header does not have any spots for adding custom content. We are working on a new imlementation for the header in the next theme update so there will be more functionality added to it soon.
for the footer, simply create or import a footer page (you can import one using the cloud library) and then add your image carousel to it. After that, access the theme panel footer settings and set the footer page to the one you created.

Fist of all, super happy with the theme! And I honestly don´t this is acutually a theme-related question, however your support have been great so far so I thought I´d at least ask.
On some (most) pages of my site there seems to be a row of whitespace (padding/margin) just below the footer. This doesn´t effect functionality in any way, but is somewhat annoying. I have tried to go through the code, updated the theme to the latest version and disabled different plugins etc. But nothing seems to solve this.
Could you perhaps help in just finding out where the whitespace comes from (a div? extra padding on somehting? etc.)

Maybe try and modify or add the code you want there, but note that after a theme update it will have to be done again as the plugin will be updated.
