Hello.

I finally managed in getting an extra custom field in the meta data of blocks.
I also recently updated to the most recent version of tagdiv and theme in general.

Suddenly there is a bit of code added everywhere to the end of my authors in the metadata.
Right after the author the websites injects this: <span>-</span>, resulting in a dash everywhere added at the end of the author. Also a margin is added to this which I really did not add myself.

Any thoughts where I can find this extra bit of code and how to remove it ?
It seems to happen only in the flex block 1.

Also, since we are mainly a reviewers site we would like to display nicknames on some occasions instead of the real names.
For instance, author “Jan van den Bulck” takes up a lot of space, pusing other meta data onto another rule, we would like to use the nickname (jvdb) instead.

Again this is not needed everywhere but on some occasions, both issues can be seen in the example link below.

we were unable to download the update 8.8.2 – 9.0 with its folders. was online only 1 day … in italy August is holiday month

Now from Envato we can only see the update 9.0 – 9.1

Where can we download the 8.8.2 – 9.0 update and its folders?

I have experience with HTML, and was wondering where I can go to edit the live widgets at the side of my webpage?

I cannot update the theme as I do not want to lose my many custom changes.

Everything was fine with my website until August 18. But now when I try to edit a page using TagDiv composer, the left sidebar of the composer opens while the right 2/3 just has a swirling icon indicating that the page is loading. It never loads. I have a very simple site with only the Newsmag theme and three plugins. The only one updated recently is the WP User Avatar. I’ve tried deactivating that, but when I do, TagDiv still doesn’t load.

This is a non-professional site that I run myself, so please try to provide a non-technical answer.

Please there is a feature that would make a lot of sense if it is added to the Newspaper theme.

A lot of publishers (especially newspaper/magazine) use their blogs to write about so many topics. It would make a lot of sense if we are able to control how ads show up on our website.

For example, If an advertiser contacts me to show up a weight loss advert below post on articles in the weight loss category, I can just go to the theme settings, enter the advert code and select the categories I want the advert to display in.

This will make the Newspaper theme the perfect theme for bloggers. This would also add a new feature that very few themes have.

I have got exactly the same issue that’s reported here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/having-an-issue-with-google-adsens-on-my-website/. After the latest update, my adsense ads appear only on header and sidebar. Ads are not appearing on article top, article middle and article bottom. If i open chrome on my mobile, i can see all the ads but the issue is happening only with desktop browser.

I just update to version 9 of newspaper theme but can not use tagdiv composer anymore to build my pages (I just have the quick edit).
I also have some code on my pages instead of images and blocks (vc_row content_align_vertical=”content-vert-top”][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_align_vertical=”content-vert-top” full_width=”” row_divider_top=”” svg_background_color_bottom=”#000000″][vc_column width=”2/3″])
Do you have an idea how can I fix this ?

Please I have Newspapner 8 installed, I downloaded the new version how to do to make the update ?

I just updated to 9.0 and as usual I changed my theme temporarily in order to delete the old Newspaper theme. I installed 9.0 and every page has been updated except the home page which is still on the old theme. In preview the homepage is normal (from Newspaper) but on the front end it is still from a different theme.
Is this a common issue? Any fix?
