It is supposed to be different then a default WordPress theme. A premium theme contains different code and functionality than a default one.
You can use the other page builder provided in the package (WPBakery page builder), if you do now want to use the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-use-visual-composer/
Deactivating plugins would be the first set to take when there are problems. This way one can begin looking elsewhere for the problem, by eliminating plugins as the cause.
Something must have happened before the issue began, maybe a plugin has auto-updated. If there were no problems before, that could be a plausible thing to check.
Hello,
1) You are using an old version of the theme and an older version of the social counter which will not work with the recent changes made to FB. Please update your theme and your theme plugins.
2) The back to top only needs to show up after the position change. Th position change will make it visible all the time. You will have to hide it using this code to have it appear in the position you want:
.td-scroll-up {
display:none;}
.td-scroll-up-visible{
display:block!important;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
@Fabrizio Azzali If you use a different you could try removing the default one. Try this suggestion
– https://wordpress.org/support/topic/update-4-9-6-checkbox-comments-privacy-approved/
Or enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS
.comment-form-cookies-consent {
display:none;
}
Thanks
Hi Simion,
I’ve read the documentation, and as you can see : https://www.screencast.com/t/XyZpLsM2lz3i
I did not reinstall the multi-purpose plugin after the last update. Despite the fact that multipurpose elements are included, there is still a cascading stylesheet remaining.
So maybe it is finally an issue ?
Hi,
Seems to work at the moment – https://www.screencast.com/t/gz6AbJ604Zb
I checked a few posts, the homepage and a few category pages. Basically if you update the theme plugins after a theme update, there should be no problem.
Hello,
These are the tdm images used by the tagdiv composer multi-purpose elements. They previously came up only when activating the multi-purpose plugin but starting from 8.7.5, the multi-purpose elements were integrated into the tagdiv composer, no longer requiring the multi-purpose plugin to be installed. Now the images appear for everybody.
The tdm images will come back if deleted. They were programmed this way as they are required by the new elements. We will provide a “fix” for this in the next theme update as it seems there are many requests to disable these images.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Thanks.
Hi,
Remember to update all the theme plugins you use. Deactivate them and remove them, then install theme again from the new theme package. The multi-purpose plugin is not required anymore (merged with the tagDiv composer), however by a mistake it is still included in the plugins folder in the theme package.
The composer should update automatically, sometimes this fails. You will have to update it manually if that bis the case. The same for the social counter (update the social counter and it should work as before).
So update the tagDiv composer and social counter, then check if the problems are solved.
Thanks
Hi,
You could check some older similar topics
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/when-i-use-tagdivcomposer-with-wpbakery/
But note that by default there is no taxonomy filter, any filtering will work only with categories. You will have to make modifications to the theme files that may not work/or lost after a theme update.
This functionality may be taken into consideration for implementation in the future, I cannot say for sure however. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
I see you use Adsense, so hiding them with CSS is not an option. You could try the Adrotate plugin, I believe this plugin has options like that, for more control over the ads. Many theme users recommend the plugin I mentioned. Some documentation about it here
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/
– https://ajdg.solutions/manuals/adrotate-manuals/
You could give that a try. Maybe there will be at some point options like this in the theme.
In a coming theme update, there will be additions to the way the post templates are created. This will affect the post ads as well.
Thanks
Hi,
So the categories you created in WordPress are removed after you update the theme, now that is unusual. Categories, posts, pages these should not be affected by a theme update or changing themes.
The categories are all saved in the website database. Maybe there are problems with the database, you could check that or contact the hosting to check for you. It is always recommended to make a full backup before updating, there could always be unexpected results. Try to update by FTP, it is the most reliable method

Hi,
So there are problems writing in Visual mode after the WordPress and theme update. There were no similar user reports after updating. I also tested and there is no problem using the WordPress editor and also the sidebar section displays
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ygwKWTFDbeX
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mPJbq4OGFSJ8
Test without plugins, deactivate them all except theme plugins (update the theme plugins). If you made code modifications to WordPress or the theme files, or use a child theme, remove /deactivate them temporarily. If there is still a problem we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Trying to add a featured image to a post but the little connecting image just spins and spins. Cache has been cleared and all plugins updated. Deactivated all plugins to see if that helped but it did not. Any suggestions?
Hello,
today after updating my theme I received a message stating that some tagDiv plugins had been disabled because they were incompatible with the new version of the theme. Following the documentation tutorial, I went to install the updated plugins. All plugins have been installed correctly, with Multi Purpose exits.
When I install this plugin I get a fatal error:
The plugin could not be activated because it caused a fatal error.
Fatal error: Can not redeclare on_tdc_init_multipurpose () (in /home/insti314/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/td-multi-purpose/td-multi-purpose.php:15) in / home / insti314 /public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-multi-purpose/td-multi-purpose.php on line 16
How to fix this bug?
I build my site based on the “Dental Studio” Demo, so I believe the Multi Purpose plugin is needed for me, right?
Thank you!
exactly the same problem as you and those since the last update. check this: https://lachainecrypto.com
Hey,
I have updated to the latest version, then I have found Mobile theme does not work for me. It does not open on mobiles, but it shows the mobile theme (post) page on desktop “sometimes”. (www.ytechb.com) my site url
please help me to solve out this issue.
I have updated to the latest theme, latest 4.4 plugin for social counter.
There seems to be a problem displaying the Facebook social counter with usernames that have a “DOT” in them.
My Facebook user ID is: mundoalbiceleste.arg
URL: https://www.facebook.com/mundoalbiceleste.arg
I have removed my username and added a friend’s Facebook username for fun and it worked. I put my username back and the counter stays at 0. Only conclusion I have is the Newspaper theme doesn’t allow “.” in the username. Unless it’s something else?
Please help.
Hi, Can anyone give me some reply/update?
Update: This is a very strange weekend. Now everythin is up and running as it should, an also normal user, who are not logged in kan see the site. I do hope it will stay like this. Best Regards Poul Mikael Allarp.
Good afternoon,
I have updated my theme to last version and then I have deleted the social counter plugin. Now this is what appears (an error):
The website is http://www.damnkicks.com. How do I get rid of that?
Thanks
Update: Strange, now the two browsers, where I’m logged in – Firefox and Chrome seems too work quite normal no problems there, but the in other browsers Microsoft Edge, Cyperfox, Vivaldi, Opera there are now no theme at all. Never seen anything like that. Now I tried to log into the site in Cyperfox browser an everything is normal – Does this mean that it is not at theme problem, but the problem is somewhere else? Best Regards Poul Mikael Allarp
Just upgraded my theme from 8.7.4 to 8.7.5. and also decided to try Tagdiv AMP plugin (v 1.2).
I disabled Worpdress AMP plugin (the default one), and uploaded td-ammp v1.2 (was downloaded from themeforest.net). Everything looks fine, but Google Search Console warned me same day about hundreds of errors, and next day up to 1000. I got this type of errors:
1. The inline ‘style’ attribute is not allowed in AMP documents. Use ‘style amp-custom’ tag instead. (example: https://magazeta.com/2007/05/bishushanzhuang-residence-imperator/amp/)
2. Invalid CSS stylesheet: Disallowed HTML tag. (Most errors in the comment section. Like font tags in the comments)
3. Disallowed HTML tag.
After last update, my Custom CSS, Advanced CSS, Custom Java script and Custom HTML are NOT editable.
I tray to disable all plugins but didn’t help.
When i try to do a change using the Tag Div Composer, it does not show the changes in the right part of the screen (as in the left part, it is the box with the setup).
Is there anything i can do to solve the problem?
Hello,
I managed to update the theme and all plugins. Before that none of my social media counters worked on my website. They all said zero fans. Now, after the update, only the twitter counter doesn’t work. It says 0 fans. The id is entered correctly. What could be done?
Thx!
Dear Sir or Madam,
Due to the GDPR, it is not allowed to embed youtube videos, facebook or twitter widgets so the user automatically send data to their servers. A “Opt-In” is highly recommended. Could you publish an Update where Users have to explicitly click on it to start a connection with the third-party services? (Maybe do a thing that loads the content when it’s clicked and has an placeholder before, there are many sites that already have something like that)
Would be also great for the “Video” Articles, where the Videos are on top (instead of the thumbnail).
Also would it be possible to make an option to host google fonts locally?
I would even pay some extra Bucks to have that.
Greetings!
