Hi there,

I’ve run into a problem while using the “Go To Payment” function on Stripe checkout in test mode. The error message I received states:

“Automatic tax calculation in Checkout requires a valid address on the Customer. Add a valid address to the Customer or set either customer_update[address] to ‘auto’ or customer_update[shipping] to ‘auto’ to save the address entered in Checkout to the Customer.”

I have verified that the tax calculations are set to Automatic mode as required. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Since the upgrade i get the following;

With the update to 12.6.6, I note the theme now has an option to display Webp images, but it does not create the images. Is there a recommended plugin or method for generating Webp images in the required thumbnail sizes on the server?

after doing some research, this has been an ongoing issue for at least 2 years.
why isn’t a update being implemented 🙁

I updated to 12.6.6 as recommended by the system. A disaster.
Design of the homepage was completely gone. I was using a static page created in Tagdiv Composer. It seems that some of the old modules (I was using a regular blog module 20 – image on the left, text on the right) are no longer supported. The offer of new modules is poor.

Fonts changed. A silly subheadline was added to my logo (Discover the art of publishing – WTF?) I never used nor wanted a subheadline.

Worse still, clicking on an article (after I repaired the static home page) results in an error (some kind of booster error).

This all happened due to a routine update of the software!

Using the time machine and going back to 12.6.4 did not help!

I require that you guys immediately fix this issue. My website is down because of your poorly prepared and poorly communicated “upgrade”.

I hate the new look of the homepage but I just had to cook something quickly to have the home page operational.

it seems that after the latest update the smart side bar no longer works. It appears but does not fluctuate. It remains fixed. I haven’t touched any settings and once I tried the solutions on this forum it doesn’t seem to work anyway.

Hi. I am the admin of http://www.christianmessenger.in website. We use the Newspaper theme. For the last few months we have been experiencing redirects to spam websites from mobile browser. Upon investigation we found out that tagdiv composer had been injected with a malware. The current version is very old. And we are not able to enable auto update of the plugin. Please help.

Thanks for the update. Some minor questions/remarks:
1. Caching plugin – No caching plugin detected
although we are using cache with WP-Optimize. Can you fix that?

2. Can we activate php8.3 with this template?

I have noticed a random bug. It’s only happened in the last couple of days. I have only made two changes to the site that I think have caused it to happen. Updated to the latest version of the theme and enabled Google auto ads and Google privacy/cookie setting banner.

For some reason, when I enable the to-top button, it displays at the top of the page for logged-out users. Logged-in works as normal. When I change it to the progress circle it still displays at the top of the page but is massive. I have tried rolling back the theme and using adblocker on the site and it doesn’t fix the issue.

Any ideas?

I had to turn it off as it is not working as expected.

I have tried several time to update both the links and media associated in the Ads section of the Newspaper theme panel and have only received the endless loading sign. I’ve left it for several minutes, reloaded and nothing changed. Tried this several times with no success.. What’s happening here?

Hi, suddenly the comments on articles have been closed for no apparent reason. All previous comments are visible, but now only ‘comments are closed’ appears at the bottom of the page.
Wordpress is updated, I tried disabling some plugins but the result is still the same.

As I already wrote in the title, my ads (Adsense circuit) aren’t displaying after WordPress update 6.5.3..
Placing any code inside “Header Ad” (or any other section in the Theme Panel), is not inserted into the page.
I don’t understand why.

for example:
<!– TEST –> or <div id=”test”></div>
