Hi,
I am about to build my homepage. I wrote the first post and the whole post was displayed on the homepage. I don’t know how to change the settings without using Visual Composer. Cause all the tutoriols I saw are working with it. So is there a way to change my blog as I wish wothout it? And how to use different ways of displaying my posts on the homepage?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
I’ve created a couple of Pages (using Visual Composer), and am seeing two problems with text in a Text Block. The page is here: http://degnan.blog/michael-degnan/
1) Smaller Text size.
For Pages, the text in numbered (ol) and bulleted (ul) lists is not inheriting the size settings of the “page content” font. Its too small. This is not happening for Posts, where both (ol) and (ul) list items format match the “post content” settings.
I found the List CSS Setting adjustments for Posts in Theme Panel/Theme Fonts/Post Content. There is no similar setting for Lists in T.Panel/T.Fonts/Pages.
Where can I adjust this setting? If its custom CSS code, can you please provide it?
2) (OL) Numbers not showing.
When I use a numbered (ol) list, the numbers for each (li) list item (1.xxx, 2.xxx, 3.xxx, etc.) do not appear. They show in the Visual Composer Text Block settings WYSIWYG editor and on the page layout, but they do not show when the page HTML is rendered in the browser.
Have you seen this before, and how can I correct it?
Thank you
Hi,
I’m trying to edit the homepage of my site ultimatehomelife.com – but when I go to the page I have set as my current homepage, click on “edit page”, click on the “+” sign of the Visual Composer, I no longer see the composition page with all the boxes I can move around.
And, if I try to create a new page and implement Visual Composer on that, whenever I try to click the “+” sign and use any of Add Element, Add Text Block, Add Template features, whatever I click on inside just prompts the “loading” sign to keep on loading forever, with nothing actually changing on the visual composer page itself.
Following your advice, we disabled all plugins and confirmed there was no child theme in use. I left Visual Composer active. I cleared my local browser cache (repeatedly). Then tested the login, and it did NOT work as expected.
When logging in, I noticed only the very first post, on the home page, had an edit button (in the upper-left corner of the first, big, featured image on the Homepage). When I clicked any other post, I observed no edit button displayed on any of them. When I tried to navigate to wp-admin, I was directed to the WordPress login page. It seems the login feature does not fully log a person in?
Question: Can we not include an inline, WordPress driven login, instead of the pop-up window? I’m not a developer, but in the WordPress Core login page code, I can see where it calls the appropriate script to actually log in. In the theme pop-up window, I can see design code (CSS, DIV tags, etc.) but not any reference to the actual login (to WordPress itself) function. I’m assuming it’s wrapped up in some Javascript, Ajax, jQuery, etc. somewhere? Maybe Ajax has an issue with postback (I don’t know)?

Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello fitore,
We have tested the theme security rigorously before releasing and also it was tested and analyzed by Envato reviewers and if would have any security issues would not pass their reviews.
Checking our demo too can be seen that is no thread there so can’t be a theme’s issue: http://screencast.com/t/hfBXLFGJSqzD
Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again. Also, I found here some resources that may help you fixing this issues: http://smackdown.blogsblogsblogs.com/2008/06/24/how-to-completely-clean-your-hacked-wordpress-installation/ – http://vivavivugeek.blogspot.ro/2014/03/detect-and-remove-spam-seo-blackhat-seo.html
If the problem is still there, try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP, use only the required plugins, clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Hope this help.
Thanks!
Hello
You can try to use this css:
.vc_gitem-zone-mini .vc_grid-filter-item{
float:left;
clear:both!important;
}
But they will not position as our grids category tags. The top element you use is a theme element and the bottom is a visual composer element. They do not share the same style.
Thank you!
Hello pedroreis,
Please keep in mind that is not the normal theme behavior, sorry! If you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of these, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN and check the results. Also, if you have some additional customizations through the theme code, please get rid of them and try to use the theme on the default state and check the results. Our demo preview works as properly in this way, without any issues, which means that the theme does not have any problems.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Anna,
If I do not have your website for a closer look, notice that I cannot provide a more accurate response. Please try to disable all the untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. It is possible that all of these to interact with the theme core file and break the responsiveness of the theme. After this, if the problem is still there, please make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard, clear all your, purge CDN files and check the results. For more information about FTP way, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Please only use the visual composer version that comes with the theme. Please disable the plugin and delete it from the plugins section and then install it again from here: http://screencast.com/t/PtNqOuhl
If the error is still there, then access your files via ftp and delete visual composer (js composer) from your plugins folder and then try to install again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello cfolks,
If you want to achieve this layout of your website, you should use 1/4+3/4 layout from the Visual Composer, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/kilLxieD7 Also, as page template you can use Pagebuilder+Page Title.
The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/RRsBskn7f
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello bluespectra,
Most likely, you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. You should try to delete all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Please keep in mind that the Ajax View Count is fully tested and compatible with our theme and it seems to work as expected. Until now, we do not have any bad reports in this regard, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Unfortunately the grid builder is not part of the theme but part of visual composer and the theme has no control over it. If you want to change the position of the visual composer elements this can only be done custom. If you provide a link to your site I could try to use a custom css but I cannot promise a result though as we have not tried altering the visual composer elements and I cannot provide a certain response if it will work or not. I will give it a shot though.
Thank you!
Hi,
First of all try to deactivate all the plugins except Visual composer to rule out any conflicts between them and the theme and to see if the problem still occurs. Then please check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Thanks

Hi,
Add this code in Theme panel->Custom Css
.td_block_9 .td-module-meta-info {
display: none;
}
Result – https://www.screencast.com/t/ANTUjEOX9
You can use any of the available widget elements from Visual composer on your homepage or in the sidebar, if you would provide more details I may be able to help you if you are having problems.
Thanks
Hello,
Please contact your host and have them disable any hosting side cache that might be provided by them. This seems to be the case more and more these days.
Also please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hello vish,
Here is talking about Big Grid 6/styloe 7 as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/V0YfHr82R4EP If you want to use this type of block, you should add it from your backend, using the Visual Composer, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/4E1Vz2MPYaY For more information about Block Settings, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

Hello,
On the mobile theme, no visual composer blocks will work at all. The mobile theme does not use visual composer so any at all block will not be rendered. This guide describes this information: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello, I’m in the Visual Composer and when I add the element “Popular Categories” and “WP Recent Posts” the colors are not the same.
Is there a way to make them look the same? I realize WP Recent Posts is made by WordPress, and Popular Category came with the Theme… Is there an element made by the theme that I can use for Recent Posts instead?
