I suspect that the links are coming from some kind of plugin. As @Christopher suggests, for now make sure to monitor for new links. If no new links are created that is ok and you can redirect the old ones to the good content ones.

In this update we invested a lot in the user experience, back end of the theme and overall quality of the code. After 415 code commits to our source, this is the biggest update yet to the newspaper theme. Even with the added features the theme is faster than ever due to our WordPress Booster framework and a lot of code improvements.

Unfortunately we don’t have full width modules / blocks yet and from my first look it seems that the theme will have to be heavily modified to support that.

To make the parallax effect we need full width support (out of the grid). I will see if we can do that.

I’m sorry but the built in worpdress recent posts filter cannot be modified in that way easly. I think we can do that via one of our modules/blocks (but I’m not sure). Will that work for you?

I’m aware that the theme is does not fully support child themes. We are releasing this week a major update to the theme and one of the remaining issues is better child theme support. We want to load the framework before child themes.

We also have in plan to load the modules via locate_template so that they support child themes.. but it will take us at least two weeks to release that feature.

Hello,

our theme customizer uses inline css to change colors on demand. For example when you change the accent color of the theme, the theme will change it’s color. With inline css is the only way to provide user customizable colors. If you leave all the default settings the theme will not generate inline css.

Visual Composer Plugin is fully integrated in our theme , you don’t need to install it (or buy it).
You can make frontpage slider without the Visual Composer Plugin, but you need to edit the shortcodes.

Did you set up wordpress to load your specific localization? http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_in_Your_Language via wp-config.php ? It should also load the visual composer’s settings.

Please do not install the visual composer plugin on the theme… it may generate conflicts. We will update the visual composer version in the future.

@Christopher it would have been grate if the theme’s content area was 728px in width to fit a standard 728×60 banner 🙂

@snowwatchGB I’m sorry but we cannot update the theme for you each time we publish a new release. I would have done it gladly if we where more free but we are working full time to support the theme and to fix all the problems.

I will add more sizing options to fonts. Regarding the responsive fonts – I have to look a little bit for a solution to that.

@Christopher we don’t yet have a place for custom css 😐 . Can you wait till the end of the month when we release the v3 update? We have custom css spots there and also custom responsive css.
