As Bogdan stated above we did not tested any events plugin so we cannot recommend a specific one as you may need custom modifications to implement them and unfortunately the time doesn’t allow us to provide custom services, you may need to hire a freelancer to help you.

Try to apply this solution to the get_header function – http://screencast.com/t/1STUPrfBQ9 please note that this is a general wp issue it is also happens on a default theme and the error from webmaster will disappear after a while, after your page will be re-indexed.

Please disable Photon module from Jetpack as I have checked your site and you have this issue – http://screencast.com/t/o0whpae5 We don’t recommend using that photon module as the theme works based on the same system so we suggest you disable it. Or if you use CDN try to disable it.
Regarding the columns please provide a screenshot from our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ as I’m not really sure what you mean.

The theme ad system was designed to work with adsense code and custom image+link banner ads, other codes may not be displayed. You could try to use a plugin and see if it works and paste the shortcode in theme ad spots, many users use AdRotate plugin.
