Hi
The code must be added in every file corresponding with the post template used, for example if you’re using post template 5 for a post the file that must be edited it’s: loop-single-5.php.
Thanks!
Hi
Please make sure you installed the child theme from the package downloaded from themeforest (Newspaper-tf > code > Newspaper-child) Here you can check our documentation regarding the child theme integration: https://forum.tagdiv.com/child-theme-support/ Make sure that the child theme it’s the active theme in Appearance > Themes. Also try to clear all caches deactivate the plugins except Visual Composer and test again.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

<div class="td-visible-desktop">
<a href="http://google.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/rec728.jpg" alt=""></a>
</div>
<div class="td-visible-tablet-portrait">

Hi
The carousel it’s a built in Visual Composer block and the theme doesn’t affect it’s functionality, so may be a issue from the plugin. Try this with a default theme from WordPress and see how it works.
Thanks!

Hi
For indicated page from our demo we use block 2 on two colons: http://screencast.com/t/FKh1gyDo and to achieve that make sure you use a 2/3+1/3 layout like here: http://screencast.com/t/iBLMivkc9 – http://screencast.com/t/WZux7bxfk
The “home” icon it’s available with the top menu: http://screencast.com/t/nr27xPmC – http://screencast.com/t/MLDuKQ78eEb – http://screencast.com/t/dMmKP4Og
Hope this help!
Thanks!

Hi
I don’t see any widget below the fb comments http://screencast.com/t/P5xNEGqUX also I don’t know exactly how the script you provided above works on mobile so you could contact the provider and ask him for advice.
Thanks!
Hi
The theme uses the registration system from WordPress and the problem could be there. Try this with a default WordPress theme, also clear all caches and deactivate the plugins, save your permalinks under Settings > Permalinks: http://screencast.com/t/WQoXY9Y65bKn and test again.
Thanks!
Hi
You need to connect via FTP or use the File Manager from CPanel area and edit the indicated file.
Thanks!
Hi
The site you indicated have our theme but with lots of customization, here are a few tips:
To get the social sharing top on the same line with the author name you need to edit the file which correspond with the post template used, and move the indicated line in meta info container like here: http://screencast.com/t/kndbkTivLDaj then add this custom css in theme panel > custom css: http://screencast.com/t/0Lg6ehz0
.td-post-sharing-top{
display: inline-block;
margin-left: 10px;
}
On the indicated site the category pages have disabled content top: http://screencast.com/t/uH1xkMfmQY
The theme doesn’t have an option to add a different banner image for every category, but you could achieve that by adding a set of condition in category.php file like here: http://screencast.com/t/xkOcUuRK13re
<div class="top-baner">
<?php if (is_category('business')) {
echo '<img src="http://localhost/wp_11/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/p1.jpg" alt="Smiley face" height="200" width="1042">';
}
elseif (is_category('vogue')) {
echo '<img src="http://localhost/wp_11/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/p1.jpg" alt="Smiley face" height="200" width="1042">';
}?>
</div>
You must add a condition for every category and set the image which you want to display. You may need some other customization for this and if you don’t know how to do it youself my advice is to look for a developer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ as we cannot ofer any type of custom work at the moment.
Hope this help!
Thanks!
Hi
Thanks for reporting this, I have added this on our issue tracker and we will try to fix it in the next theme’s updates!

Hi
The tutorial you refer it’s for Newspaper 6 and not applies totally for V.4.3 but I have tested the template files from /includes/modules and works with the child theme.
