Hi

The categories and tags pages uses the same ads system as the usual pages, you insert ad code in theme’s ad spots and are displayed in header and sidebar area http://screencast.com/t/DvhOGanWzCu You can set the sidebar for categories like here: http://screencast.com/t/m7I0FDjJh8SZ and tags from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/Jhn0wGCJ8

If you still need assistance on this please provide more details!

Thanks!

Hi

The Visual Composer plugin must be enabled, otherwise the the theme won’t display correct the blocks, grids and other elements added with this plugin on the page. If you deactivate the VC plugin result would be something like here: http://screencast.com/t/6y307RVO4

Thanks!

Hi

You can hide the featured image from a specific post using custom css, using the post-id class like here:

.postid-126 .td-post-featured-image, .postid-139 .td-post-featured-image {
display: none!important;
}

This css hide the featured image form the posts with id=126 and id=139. For each post that you want to hide the feature image just add the post id class flowed by featured image class, and separate it by comma like in example. To get the post id follow this link: http://screencast.com/t/BAJ27Av0ao

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks!

Buna

Multumesc!

Hi

To move logo to the left try this custom css: http://screencast.com/t/mWvgW8nEL5r

.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo{
margin-left: -21px!important;
}

To increase the the logo’s size its need to adjust the banner size, because header style 1 it’s designed to display the logo and banner on the same line:

.td-header-sp-ads{
width: 740px!important;
}
.td-header-sp-logo img {
width: 100%;
}
.td-header-sp-logo {
width: 300px!important;
}

Notice that I’ve tested this only with header style 1 and if you’re using a different header style you might need different customization.

Thanks for the message!

By default the theme doesn’t have an option to do that but you can use this custom css in theme panel > custom css:

.td-header-main-menu{
background-image: url("insert your url image here");
}

The result should be like here: http://screencast.com/t/eMdOcGjRDhac

I’ve checked your site and the ads are displayed fine on mobile devices now: http://screencast.com/t/DZeWVUyScn5l
Please go trough the adsense troubleshooter pasted below and contact your ad provider if you still can’t manage to make them work: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1208336?hl=en
You can also try to deactivate all plugins, leave just Visual Composer active, clear the cache and test again.

Hi

Unfortunately implementing that feature involves custom work. You can give it a try if you like, the function that need to modified it’s located here: http://screencast.com/t/iXn7Xn4kX otherwise I advice you to look for a developer on sites like http://studio.envato.com/ to do it for you.

Hi

Regarding the page speed issues please check our guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ – follow this section: http://screencast.com/t/bQMIXc5JuUdd to optimize images and also make sure you regenerate thumbnails: https://forum.tagdiv.com/existing-content/

Check your panel status for the speed booster plugin and make sure it’s active: http://screencast.com/t/a2BBchudPE as it’s set to disable itself if detects an incompatible plugin. I see you use lots of plugins so you should consider that recent versions of the tagdiv speed booster plugin have been designed to disable when it detect incompatible plugins. You can read more in this regard here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/incompatibility-speed-booster/

If you’re not aware of the steps you need to take to improve your page speed score we advise your to hire a freelancer to help you do it because we cannot provide speed customization services at the moment.

The theme uses the WordPress thumbs cropping system and depending on image’s aspect ratio the result could be different, you can find more details here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/image-size/ and more details about cropping here: http://www.davidtan.org/wordpress-hard-crop-vs-soft-crop-difference-comparison-example/
There is not an ideal image size for all thumbs, and a way to find what image will fit best would be to do some tests depending what blocks/modules you use most add an image more nearest with aspect ratio of the thumbs in which you want it to look well. You can read more about aspect ratio here – http://digital-photography-school.com/aspect-ratio-what-it-is-and-why-it-matters/

Theme’s page speed guide provides our demo site .htaccess configuration: http://screencast.com/t/SMP1Jebjx which you can use as a starting point and build on it.

You can also go trough Chris’s recommendation on this regard: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/

Thanks!

Hi

WordPress can’t enlarge the images, so you can try to use a plugin like Thumbnail Upscale as Chris suggested, if your images are smaller than the thumb where are used or use custom css for stretch them to fit thumb’s container.

Thanks!

Please make sure you installed the plugin from the full theme folder -> plugins folder you’ve downloaded from themeforest, also try to deactivate all plugins, except Visual Composer and Social Counter, clear the cache and test again.
If the problem persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your site login details and we will inspect this issue, also include a link to this topic.

Hi

1. The banners provided with the theme are just examples, and they are recommended sizes to be used for header, sidebar image banners. You can create your own banner size if you like, and use them according to our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ad/ To add your banner ad just replace in theme ad spots the url with your banner source url: http://screencast.com/t/YBexMUCv
In case you’re using adsense code the dimension are available in theme panel > ads: http://screencast.com/t/VpmwYojnhy

2. The theme doesn’t have an option to slide the banners, but you can try a plugin like AdRotate to achieve that functionality.

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks!
