If you want categories to show up in the ajax filter, you need to add them to the ajax filter tab, not the simple filter tab. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
All of the categories have to show up in the thee panel. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.

2) You also need to update the plugins after updating the theme. Please update your visual composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and use the same method to update the social counter as it is required for newspaper 7.

Please check other settings in the theme panel and see if they save or it;s just the translations. In any case please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. This is most likely a plugin conflict. Also if you use wordfence, please set the firewall on learning mode. If you use a child theme, try to activate the main theme to rule out any custom code affecting the theme panel.

Disabling “some of the plugins” will nt do it. You have to disable ALL of them at once and then clear your cache and reset cdn files if you use it. This is the way to check for plugin conflicts. Plugins conflict even between one another not just plugin vs theme.

The theme has no settings to increase the size of these buttons or the font but it can be done through css.

Well you have to add posts to the “featured” category for them to show up on the big grid on the mobile theme. The theme creates the featured category automatically. You simply need to add posts to it and they will show up on the mobile grid. If for some reason you do not have the featured category anymore you can simply create it. The name needs to be “Featured” and the slug “featured” If you create a category like that, then it will work like the one that the theme creates by default and you can add the posts you want to it.

Unfortunately our theme needs the thumbs generated for each image. What you can do to reduce the number of thumbs is assess the exact modules and blocks, layouts..etc and make notes on the exact thumbs you use on your site. This should help: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
And after you have everything listed, please deactivate the thumbs you do not use from here: http://screencast.com/t/wLtX6iHS
This will greatly reduce the number of thumbs created by the theme.

We are not aware of any such issues and we have no seo issues for fixing in 7.4 There were 2 isolated cases with traffic loss. This could be some specific plugins or server set-up that is not compatible with 7.3 as we changed the implementation of visual composer in 7.3 but for all other users it seems ok so 2 out of 28000 users is pretty low. It could only be isolated cases. We ran tests and did not find anything wrong with our theme. When there is a theme breaking issue such as the one reported here, believe me, this forum will go wild. There will most definitely not be only 2 reported cases.

Are you referring to the featured posts grid on top of the latest articles? You have to add posts to the featured category for them to appear on the front page. If you do not have any featured posts, none will show up.

Your menu items are not categories but custom links set to link to ‘#’
This particular set-up renders the mobile menu null. It will only be a list with no links attached to it. Please set your menu items with a working link and if you want sub-categories, add a few sub-categories to the main category.

It does not matter if you have more or less content. You can add tags to posts in each case. You can even bulk edit from the wordpress section like so: http://screencast.com/t/ORUlcKDSaZI
This is the only way you can control the exact posts to appear in the related articles section because if you have many categories and multiple categories on each posts, the related articles will show all of the content that has one of the viewed post’s categories.
Any other implementation will require custom work and hard-coding.

Revolution slider as well as visual composer are free versions that cannot be and do not have to be activated. You have full access to the plugin features without activation. Sorry for the inconvenience but the activation message was added by the plugin authors but they did not create any special condition in the code for free bundled versions of the plugin.
