Hello,
You can create pages and set a featured image to the page and them call pages in the big grid by changing the post type like so: http://screencast.com/t/872ukRWG
You can read more about block settings here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thank you!

Hi,
The ajax filter was created to show posts, so I;m not sure what other content you are getting which is non blog post. Please provide a link to your site so we can inspect it and figure out what your ajax filter shows besides posts.
Thank you!

Hi,

We have no reports of this issue and we have tested it on our end but could not replicate it. Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. If the problem is still there please provide a link to your site s we can inspect it and provide the proper css.

Thank you!

Hi,

The code you mentioned can be removed if you want as it creates the demos menu on the right side: http://screencast.com/t/zrv92BrZiH18
This is hidden by default so you cannot see the menu but you can activate it by adding a “!” like so: http://screencast.com/t/zrv92BrZiH18 if you like. You can delete the code if you want to though.

Thank you!

Hello,
Unfortunately you cannot use post styles on pages. Post styles only work for posts. you can create your page in visual composer and add images and blocks to your page, but post styles cannot be used on pages.
Thank you!

Hi,
@both

you can use this general code if you wish to hide the post date from all of your site:
.td-post-date{
display:none!important;
}

Hello,
Actually updating visual composer does not require any toolkit or ftp method at all. You can simly deactivate the plugin and delete files for it: http://screencast.com/t/mjdRW5W5 And once you have the latest version of the theme installed, you can simply install VC again from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/AyXUkuK6b
I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hello,
Please use this guide to update your visual composer plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
If you see shortcodes on the front-end, it most likely means the plugin is not active. Please make sure the plugin is active in the plugins section.
Thank you!

Hello,

The buttons you see on the site you mention are visual composer buttons: http://screencast.com/t/u4TzvA2d4pL but they cannot be made full width. Visual composer does not offer such setting. Sorry.

Thank you!

Here is a fix for the mobile theme issue for the moment until the new update is released:
Add this code in the mobile theme’s function.php:

td_global::$td_options = get_option(TD_THEME_OPTIONS_NAME); //read the theme settings once

It should look like so: http://screencast.com/t/ke18K42lG

@both.
Please update your visual composer plugin: http://screencast.com/t/JgbBsfxDFdv2
I have created a sticky topic on the forum explaining the need for 4.12 version of Visual composer

Hi,
I’m not sure what header code you are looking for. You can use the do_shortcode function to render shortcodes on the front-end. if you want to show an ad, you can use a visual composer ad box element filtered to show a custom ad. You get the shortcode for any element on pages in classic mode-> test mode like so: http://screencast.com/t/EWo5JAccNh
I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hello,

Well unfortunately we do not have a plugin testing department. I stated we did not test the plugin not that we will test it. In order to mark a plugin as tested and approved, lots of rigorous testing needs to be done and we need to adapt the theme code for each update of the specific plugin as we do with our current tested and recommended plugins. Let’s Encrypt is not among our priorities at the moment, Sorry. Please test the language loading with a non plugin multi-site as we cannot offer any support for plugin implementation.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello,

If you use a child theme, that means you have custom code implementation (otherwise the child theme is pointless). Please restore the theme to it’s default state and test without any customization. That means, activating the main theme and removing all custom code. If your child theme has not been updated properly, all sorts of issues can occur. Please update your theme to the latest version and test without a child theme. if the problem goes away then you need to re-create your child thebe by using the one that comes bundled in our theme package.

Thank you!

Hi,
I have tested this on my end but could not replicate the issue. The slider was the same and the content width did not change. There were no changes made to these element. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test again.
If the problem is still there, please provide a link so we can inspect it.

Please provide more details to your request so we can understand better how to help.

Hello,

It depends on whether you use the mobile theme or not. If you use the mobile theme, sidebar elements will not be present. If you do not use the mobile theme plugin, theme the sidebar will be visible on mobile under the main content.

Thank you!
