Here is the guide to update the theme. https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
It seems so. Hope they will extend it to support widgets.
No. Different plugin and not one of those in the list of plugins tested with the theme. You can only use the newsletter plugin in a custom page created with td composer.
You can only use this feature with a custom homepage. It does not support widgets it seems.
I don’t think it has coz I was also thinking about that. I use this instead https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-wp/
@Catalin, the person is asking how to ENABLE the button, not disable it!
Issue resolved for missing homepage content!

Yoast SEO is recommended by the theme, but it is not a must you use it. You can still continue to use All in One SEO plugin. But if you intend to shift to Yoast SEO, use this guide https://yoast.com/all-in-one-seo-pack-migration/ (I don’t work here).
Indeed! Plus the lifetime updates are a life saver!
Also, make sure you update td composer to the latest version in Newspaper>plugins. Not sure about the icons size. Wait for tagdiv team to provide a better answer.
Do you know how to create pages with tagdiv composer? You can add it from there https://www.screencast.com/t/Ob8hckvA
Try this!
1. Deactivate TD Composer/visual composer in plugins section
2. Uninstall TD Composer in plugins section
3. Download the latest Newspaper 8.7 version from ThemeForest
4. Extract the content
5. Go to Theme –> Newspaper –> includes –> plugins
6. Locate the zipped td-composer file in the plugins folder

Have you cleared your website cache (and/reset CDN files if u use any)? Also, try another browser.
No, it will not delete your articles and settings, but first, make sure you do a full theme back up before updating via FTP. Then remember to clear your browser cache. Remember to also delete td composer and td multipurpose and reinstall them from Newspaper>Plugins. If this does not work, then you can wait for the tagdiv team to provide a better solution (I don’t work here).
The solution I usually see being given for this here is to clear your browser cache.
Your image for question 2 is not showing. The theme has no option to include thumbnails. I used a custom option on my site to show images and I can try to gather up the codes I used if you want. (I don’t work here).
Have you updated the td composer and td multipurpose plugins to the latest version in the new v8.7 folder? Coz I had same problem and deleting the plugins and uploading the new ones resolved the problem.
It is an element in the tagdiv composer (seems it can only be used on pages created with the composer).
You’re welcome. Do the same for tagdiv multipurpose plugin if you use it.
Have you updated the tagdiv composer plugin with the one that came with v8.7?
Good to hear that.
@MDNM2017 did you clear your browser cache? I did and mine worked. You have to delete both the td composer and td multipurpose plugins and upload those that came with the theme update (preferably via ftp).
Don’t downgrade. Just delete the td multipurpose and td composer and upload the updated versions that came with the theme version 8.7 and activate.
