When you click on “upload” to select the image you want to set as the footer background, check the right bottom corner of the media library for this section http://prntscr.com/lztay5 and make sure in the “size” dropdown you have selected “full size”. See if that will solve your problem.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the theme (9.2.2). Download the latest version of the theme from themeforest.net then go to the newspaper>plugins on your WordPress dashboard and update the mobile plugin from there.

Here are the recommended theme update methods https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/. The FTP (or manual) way is recommended to ensure there are no problems when updating. (I don’t work here).

Hi @catalin-l. Do you know you sound like a ‘robot’ with these constant copy-paste answers? Anyway, this question was kindly aimed at @Simion. It was just a suggestion. https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/speed-up-your-wordpress-by-caching-custom-queries-using-transients-api/

It seems to work fine on my end for now.

Try to disable lazy loading from theme panel>template settings. I also found I had the same problem on mac.

The theme does not support RTL. Better get a developer to work it out for you.

Mark as fixed and ignore. If you do not want it to occur again, when you are updating your theme next time, just put your site in maintenance mode https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-put-your-wordpress-site-in-maintenance-mode/.

I just had to enable nd_mysqli from the PHP extensions. Problem solved.

Make sure the theme and default plugins are updated to the latest version https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Look for plugins to do that. Or hire a developer.

You don’t have to buy a new theme if you are using it on the same domain, whether with or without www suffix.

I only tested the homepage. The search icon was not working. Could be only this respective mac (for a coworker).

I will share the details soon. Thanks

Also remember that version four is a very old theme and version 8+ is an entirely new theme. So you might need to recreate your pages afresh with the tagdiv composer.

The lagging I reported earlier in this thread is still happening, since around update 9.1 with the same plugins, I used before installed. It is working well on Firefox. I cannot find a software to record the issue as it is done on Github.

Use this guide, and preferably update via ftp https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/

Just use this plugin to add a contact form https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpforms-lite/. Unless you are using custom plugin?

Hi @Simion. Is td composer working well on chrome from your end?

ctoweett

Maybe check if image lazy loading is enabled in theme panel>template settings and disable it.

If you have updated to WordPress version 5.0, then it is an issue with the Gutenberg Editor. I also face the issue. Seems to be a bug that the WordPress team is yet to address.
