I’ve taken the code out of the element and added it as custom html in the theme, now I’ve a new problem, it doesn’t embed the short code:

it was the footer, you’ve ripped out lots of stuff so my custom footer needed updating.

This will mean lots of messing around with viewport for various devices, is there another way, or another method to make the columns match height?

If not, why is there a setting for h-align?

Thanks, I tried all of that before I contacted you, the issue is that Sucuri don’t like your script for what ever reason.

This happens on both Chrome and Firefox on Win10. I didn’t experience this issue yesterday on Win 8.1.

I’ve already updated manually, it was not possible to do this as normal… that’s my point.

That’s not the issue, the problem is that the theme updates as normal however the composer does not. This is probably as it’s shipped with the theme. It doesn’t list under plugins as update available.

This means that when the theme was updated, composer deactivated as it’s “not compatible” with the theme update.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks Simion, my worry is that the latest version of Newsmag might be very different. The new version of Newspaper was very different from the old with it’s new builder, is this the same change?

Thanks Calin, I’ve worked it out, the host had enabled redis cache, disabling it fixed the issue, the issue didn’t come back once caching was re-enabled.

I’ve done this but now see:

tagDiv Social Counter – This plugin requires Newsmag v4.4 but the current installed version is Newsmag v3.3.1.

I’m worried that if I update everything to v4.4 it will break a lot of the site.

Do I have an alternative?

I’m having this issue, but it’s new. The site has been around for a while so we know the requirements are correct and the server is good.

We’ve also checked the plugins and they are all fresh.

We are not using a security plugin but are behind the Sucuri WAF however that’s not set to block anything like this.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I don’t think it’s possible to do this with a child theme, it doesn’t work for me anyhow.

I’ve gone another route and used different background colours to separate the columns, this has led to other issues as you know 😉
