OK, I have tried to update the plugin; I have updated the theme, but I still don’t have version 4.12. Where is the zip file with the visual composer plugin so I can install it? So confused and I have read the instructions, but I get stuck where it says:
‘4. Select the Newspaper\includes\plugins\js_composer.zip file, press Open’
Where is this???
Oh dear, but I don’t have a hashtag in the widget: http://imgur.com/a/kORao
Thank you, but that can’t be the issue in this case. It was saying 287 followers for a bit and is now saying 0 followers! http://citysavvyluxembourg.com/ Any other ideas?
Yes, I think the problem is getting version 4 of the plugin. I thought I’d get an update for that too, but no dice. How can I find it?
Hi there,
I think there’s a conflict with the analytics plugin and the newspaper updates – but I have sorted it now. Thank you!
Oh my goodness, I think I sorted it, but of course I just updated now and… suddenly my bounce rate has shot up! Is it that the analytics code is affected in the theme panel with each update and I’m having to change it each time? I can’t manage this every time you post an update :-/
Well, I think the problem is that analytics doesn’t seem to be tracking every page, even though I have added the tracking code in the relevant place in the theme panel:
I think it is to do with where the tracking is and that has changed with the theme – it has happened before…
I’ve changed the preformatted text as you’ve said but the grey box is still there… the preformatted text is not held within the post content fonts area?
One more gremlin (sorry!)
In the ‘old’ newspaper format, the option for ‘preformatting’ text didn’t have a grey box around it. How can I get rid of that? And change the font? Here’s a screen shot to show what I mean:
Thank you – you’re a life-saver! All working 🙂
Just a quick update – you veyr kindly gave me the css code to remove the author from the big grid:
.td_module_mx9 .td-post-author-name{
display:none!important;
}
I have updated my website to use a different grid ‘Big Grid 6’ – but of course the authors names are coming up again. Could you tell me what the new css code would be to remove this?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you so much!
All sorted – sorry, error on my part :-/
Following… I updated the theme and now my homepage isn’t working as the visual composer doesn’t seem to be posting the ‘big grid’s correctly??

Hello there! I did not have the Ajax View Count on!!! Have done so now and am hoping all will be well; I have done the whole visual composer, clearing cache etc, but that didn’t work, so I don’t think it’s a plugin, although I may be wrong. Will keep you updated! Thanks so much.
You are right!! Thank you – all sorted.
Have done all this, but sadly, I still can’t tell hwo many people are visiting my posts – it just says ‘0’ post views by many articles. I know this is not true because of google analytics, so I’m baffled. What could be going wrong?
Thank you so much – how fabulous is that?
Just one more font thingy. I had ‘preformatted’ text before to be essentially the same font and size as the code you just posted above. Where do I format that and how?? Thanks in advance!
Nope, still not working 🙁
Thank you – very helpful!
Oh thank you! That works perfectly!
Hello there,
Thank you for writing back. The trouble is that the fonts area doesn’t have a place where I can amend the colours, only the styles. When I go into the theme colours area, it bundles all the Headings up into one to colour them. I can’t find the ‘preformatted’ font anywhere to change, but it is certainly an option when I go into a post and choose a style.
Is there somewhere I can amend the ‘default’ font overall too?
Many thanks in advance for your help,
Farrah
Thank you so much.
1a. I’ve turned the slider animation off but there is still an animation when I hover over a category on the main page: http://citysavvyluxembourg.com/
b. Do I just go into the Stylesheet style.css and add this code anywhere??
c. Perfect – thank you!
2. What a pain but understood
3. Understood
4. Sorry, where do I put this code?
One more thing, the ‘preformatted’ style has changed quite a bit! Where can I edit this?
Many thanks,
Farrah Gillani
